Excellent show, surprised by the light show the sound and venue were great. Incredible musicians having fun playing Groove is always a treat! Check them out and go to Sanctuary if a band you like is playing there

Great venue; a 🎶 combo played in the bah; the White Owls were great. The Delta Generators fantastic as usual.

Awesome show as always! Although he’s getting a little bit older now, he still performs the best shows and sounds great! The Sanctuary is a great little venue, intimate setting with good acoustics.

Danielle has a beautiful, magical voice and a performing style that keeps the room enthralled. Her arrangements of covers are fun and original while still reminiscent of the versions that we live. Her own music is witty and spirited. A fantastic show all around. Her “friends” for this event were fine performers and rounded out the evening nicely. This is a fun way to learn of mew local artists. Danielle on the bill? Grab a ticket!

First time seeing them. Was great… cool versions of some dead classics and an eclectic mix of other covers. I’d see them again.

ELECTRIC! Terrific band, super high-energy performance and awesome stage presence. I will see her again whenever she’s within 75 miles of Boston! Worth price of admission at 2x the price. And The Sanctuary venue is terrific!

Sanctuary was a perfect venue for Nellie to perform! Sound was great, atmosphere was perfect, she always puts on an amazing show and I’m always so happy for days after seeing Nellie! The staff at Sanctuary were extremely friendly and helpful! I would definitely see another show there!

Amazing show with a perfect symmetry of Dead and Dan songs intertwined. Really tight band with awesome guitar solos! Go see them!

Great seeing you guys while I am on a business trip back east from Fort Collins. The crowd has first timers that became instant fans.

The show was great. Entertaining in every way. The music was very enjoyable. Her stories and commentary during the set were interesting. I could almost live vicariously listening to the other musical artists preforming at the Troubadour in her youth. The guitarist, Nina Gerber, was outstanding. They played beautiful music together. Bravo.

This is the second time I post a review of this show. It was like stepping into a reunion of musicians in a comfortable bar/living room. We got to meet Danielle and let her audition my stomp box. It was so cool. I can’t wait to see her again.

Bywater Call’s concert at Sanctuary in Maynard, MA, on May 22, 2025, was a fiery performance showcasing the band’s impressive chemistry and musicianship. Lead singer Meghan Parnell delivered her usual powerful, soulful vocals supported by tight grooves and dynamic horn and guitar solos. Despite the band’s energy and skill lighting up the stage, the sound quality at the venue was less than ideal, somewhat detracting from the overall experience

This was a high-energy, super-charged dance extravaganza! The set list was everything spectacular from the disco era. The musicians were fabulous, led by extraordinary vocalists. So. Much. Fun.
