AK You are a true amazing person. Hopefully I will get meet greet tickets next time. I was there for you first Visit to MN and first time you sang all I ever known and read the words of your phone. This time was the 4th time and was just as amazing. You signed my son's shirt from that first tour. Marb shirt. Can't wait til you come back to MN. We love you. I would share a picture but it won't let me 😭
It was my first time seeing Alexandra live. I had heard most of her music via my Pandora. Seen some of her posts on you tube and X. She put on a beer energetic show and was very engaging with the crowd. Alexandra stated that Minneapolis was one of the first places she performed where it felt like everyone knew her songs outside her hometown, and it will always be a special place to tour for her. She has a bright future ahead of her and is making great strides as an independent artist.
Terrific show!!! Actually one of the best metal shows I’ve ever been to. Bonus was a nice tribute to Dime and Vinnie. Had tickets to two other shows that both got cancelled, and missed a Sabbath show with a sick family member, so I was glad to finally be able to see them play after all these years. Band members were all really polite at the meet and greet, and took time to visit with all of the folks that showed up. More than happy to check out another show any time they play near here…
This concert was so amazing. You could tell that they really love and care about their fans and it was a 10/10 experience. I will definitely be going to see them when they come to Minnesota again. I only wish that the venue was a little bigger since it was very warm in there and they were sold out so it was really packed. Either way, I loved it and I recommend anyone who listens to them to go see them in person.
It was a great, high energy performance. We also attended the VIP early access and Q&A. It was great and well worth the extra cost. It was a small group and the band was humble and approachable with questions and authentic answers. They played several acoustic songs for us and were kind and gracious to everyone there. I went with my teenager but became a genuine fan myself after the experience.
First time seeing this group. I hadn't heard of them until my 20 yr old daughter told me about them, and I'm glad she did! This was one of the best shows I've been to in a while! The lead singer told the crowd they would give us all they had and how true it was! Great sound, positive vibes and great energy. Would definitely see them again!
It's a very good venue from a facilities standpoint of access to the bars and restrooms, etc. And it's a great size for somewhat intimate shows like this one. The sound was perfect. Super close to the light rail station.
Fed Armisen was excellent, of course. The opener got started a bit later than expected (maybe 15-20 minutes after the start time). All in all, a wonderful night.
I’m a new fan due to popular songs like wanted I want crazy and was very disappointed these were not Played. After roughly 2 hours of listing to the opening act, and then him all of love songs some rather depressing. I’m not sure how much of his fan I am now…. I didn’t hear what I wanted to hear. New fans. One of the songs should’ve been played right off the bat.
It was a very young crowd, which I didn’t realize it would be.
The venue does not allow you to go, which is unusual considering the size of it other competitive venues allow you to smoke.
My friend and I were impressed with Gary Numan, but was mostly there to see Ministry. Ministry is amazing live. Ministry concerts are loud so I highly recommend hearing protection so you can be close enough to feel the bass throughout your body and special concert earplugs can also help to understand the lyrics better too. The venue was nice (could have been slightly larger), it was packed, clean, the staff was friendly. I saw the same show in Sioux Falls in 2023, but Ministry put out a new album recently which they played some songs from their new album at the Minneapolis show in 2024.
Absolutely amazing. Always takes my breath away. I cried like a baby. Sws has no idea the impact they've had on my life. I literally couldn't control my emotions when they were up there. Theyve saved me more than they'd ever know. They always put on a great show. Anytime they're in Fargo or Minneapolis I have to see them because they're my favorite of all time.
Interesting trio of bands: Starcrawler, Black Angels & Rival Sons. It was an excellent experience from the venue, it's staff, and obviously all 3 bands. It was our 1st time @ The Fillmore Mpls and if any bands we follow play there - we will be there. I would have went to the concert even if Rival Sons or Black Angels were not on the bill. It was a great double header for us with Starcrawlers great set. I had heard of them but not heard them. I will be buying their 3 lps.
The Interrupters knocked it out of the park again! This being my 3 time seeing them this was the best show to date! They went didn’t hide from some of there deeper tracks along with an amazing mix of the new music! There are not many bands that I have seen that make you feel the way The Interrupters make you feel at a show. They truly welcome everyone and make them feel like it is a show just for you. It’s the small things that they do that will keep me coming back for them time and time again!
Where do I even start?! Joshua Bassett is phenomenal. I was smiling every second of this concert! He is the only artist I've seen that isn't just up on stage, but makes an effort to connect with fans individually!! He came down into the pit multiple times, up in the balcony, and in the crowd! His inner theatre kid really shows by the way he dances, goofs off with the fans, and throws little surprises and twists to song lyrics!
Not to mention, he held my hand three times and gave me a flower! Sweetest guy ever! Second, his music is amazing-makes you want to jump and dance and scream at the top of your lungs, cry, and fall in love all at the same time! He also is such a genuine person, mixing some mini talks into the show, connecting with the audience! If you're thinking of going to a Joshua Bassett concert-don't-just go! It's worth every penny! I will definitely be going to his next concert!!
I bought tickets; 1 - because I LOVE Rick Springfield and 2 - because the tickets I bought were part of the "Rock the Heart" Charity. The Fillmore is an awesome venue with tons of character. The food served at the charity VIP party was fantastic. The staff was so nice and helpful; especially since I was tooling around on a knee scooter due to foot surgery. Which is more than I can say about the crazy amount aging, and some wasted, women who felt the juvenile need to encroach the front of the stage; in spite of not having seats anywhere near the front of the stage. Security needed more manpower at the front of the stage. Other than the rabid 45+ year old women, my friend and I had an amazing time.
GA Standing Room section was in the back of the floor, behind a roped-off, seated area that took up about 75% of the floor in front of the stage. I bought GA thinking I'd be lining up early and racing to the front. It destroyed the energy of the whole night. There were a lot of disappointed and angry people, not to mention a large number of people who section jumped when security wasn't watching. I won't be going to another show that has seating like this.
Wanted to like this show so much. Have been waiting to see them for 7 years, but left disappointed. For starters, Live Nation cut ticket prices in half two weeks in advance of show without any consideration for those of us that bought our tickets early. Sour apples I know. But worse, they just didn't sound great. The audio for Yannis, lead singer, was mixed way too low. The rest of the band sounded great.
The One Ok Rock Concert was Awesome. The preshow entertainment, Fame on Fire and U Me At Six was also very good and entertaining.
Filmore needs to do a better job at putting out signs to differentiate the VIPs, Fast Pass and general admission. This is the second concert I attended at the Filmore and the lines are different.
Overall, I love One Ok Rock too much to let this ruin it for me.
I was so excited for One Ok Rock to come to Minneapolis, and will absolutely be back for any show they have here. Full five stars for them, Fame on Fire and You me at Six. Amazing show.
For the venue: The staff was helpful and kind. It isn't always the best to put an introvert in a hot crowded space, and though my friend had a medical incident, (they are okay!) the staff and EMTs did their best to help us enjoy the rest of the show, and we did.
Great downtown vibe, Good concert. I'm not a big fan of the general admission venues as I can't see over the oak trees, but The Fillmore Theater is top notch. The staff was friendly and courteous. Alcohol is downtown expensive. It's a cashless venue so bring your credit card. As for the concert Beast in Black was ok. Standard heavy metal fare. Nightwish is outstanding and I love Floor, but they miss Marco's strong vocals.
This was a truly special show. Clairo’s songwriting is complex and ambitious while still reaching hearts. It is a tall task to perform songs with such advanced structure and arrangements, but Clairo rounded up a group of supremely talented musicians and surpassed my most ambitious expectations. This was a masterpiece of an album translated into a masterpiece of a show. One of my very favorite shows in 30 years of going to concerts. Easily 5 stars!
