Amsterdamse Bostheater

Amazing location for a summer concert, in the middle of a forest, shady (meaning fresh from the summer heat), with enough space in between rows of seats. Social Distortion started 10 minutes late (which is not common in NL), but killed with a great setlist with a few number from their latests album. Plenty of spoken word intermissions, where Mike Ness told some old tales, made remarks about the current state of affairs in the world, entertaining the crowd with his wit and wisdom. He also made remarks on the acoustic of the location, but for a die hard fan was not an issue.

unfortunately a short show, but it was such a special experience!

Paper Kites gave an amazing show, in the rain, in the forest! I will go see them again as soon as I can.

Great atmosphere

What can I say, Xavier was simply amazing!!! Still can’t wrap my head around how he manages to sing & play all those instruments all at the same time. And his energy till the very last minute!! I think the venue was perfect for this kind of music. Being surrounded by trees makes it ever slightly more special.

She was amazing, the crowd was a bit lame and rude. But mainly the teens though. Her performance was spectacular + she brought on a surprise.

Little sad about the rain. Everything was very wet. But at least Conor killed it. Loved his high energy and surprises!

This was super! The venue was great, Conor was amazing! Great artists before he came on stage and he did amazing with the crowd. Absolutely loved it

It was a great show! I’m glad the wait was worth it! :) (seemed a bit short, though :P)
