Middle C Jazz

The Middle C Jazz Club never disappoints, but last night’s concert raised the bar again. Mindi Abair, Kenny Lattimore and the band were amazing. The vibe was strong and the party was on. The auctioneer worked the room and the intent of the concert was met. Can’t wait until next year when they come again.

I have waited a long time to see Marion Meadows perform. The wait ended yesterday and it was an awesome experience. Mr Meadows and the band were amazing showcasing their unique instrumental and vocal talents. Additionally, I love how he engaged the audience during the performance and provided time for a meet and greet. Looking forward to attending a future Marion Meadows concert. Dr Sandra

Spyro Gyra gave an international concert performing music based on the sounds and culture of countries and cultures The group remains awesome captivating the audience with every note played. Can’t wait for Spyro Gyra to perform at the Cancun Jazz Festival

One of the best concerts I have ever attended. I have been following Morgan for several years now. She has a great, strong beautiful voice. Love the originality and interpretation of her music. I would have purchased a ticket in the bath room to hear this lady sing. She dresses like a diva but with good taste; she is beautiful to look at; has a great stage presence; and is just the total package. If it wasn't for the fact that I am 78 years old, I'd become a groupie. I cannot do anything but wish this talented virtuoso the best success in her career and her life.

Veronica took the stage at the Middle C Club in Charlotte to an enthusiastic crowd. The command Veronica has for the stage is unsurpassed! Her voice was impeccable. She would move so fluidly across the stage while she mesmerized the crowd with her strong textured singing. The band and Veronica were almost symbiotic in their performance. Especially the drummer Brian Viglione mouthing every phrase. Such a tight unit of musicians in a class all their own. The music was a collection of standard, vintage, modern and indie jazz. Veronica and Brian even performed a song acoustically with Brian playing guitar. The band consisted of upright bass, drums and grand piano. Killer is the only way to describe them. The set because of a double show was 75 minutes long. But it felt just right! It was an early show so no encore but both Veronica and Brian did a meet and greet at the merchandise table after the show. It was a fantastic evening! I talked with both of them and purchased the most recent vinyl record and they graciously autographed it for us. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better evening!

Wow! Jarrod does it again! What a phenomenal night at Middle C Jazz on Thursday. I was celebrating my Big 65th birthday with my Girlfriends and they are now fans of Jarrod. This was my 4th time seeing Jarrod live, and he never disappoints. His vocalization, expert composition and piano genius is unmatched. I am excitedly awaiting his new album to arrive which I pre-ordered as soon as he listed it yesterday. Keep up the great work Jarrod and Middle C Jazz. Looking forward to your next event. Richard Elliott and his band were awesome! He was friendly, engaged the audience and played some of his older and new music. This was my first Richard Elliott performance but it will not be my last. Thank you Richard Elliott for a wonderful evening. Dr Sandra DL,

Everything about this show was superb. John Splithoff is the best male vocalist of his generation and his shows never fail to totally delight the audience. And the Middle C Jazz Club may be the finest club of its kind in the country.

EXCELLENT SHOW AS USUAL!!!! Blake Aaron & Will Donato are an unstoppable duo who always play & perform with pure passion for their craft & the people. They are very humble, kind, personable, & funny too :-) . Can't wait until they come back to NC! Come prepared for your body to shimmy to the music all night long!

Wow! This was my third time seeing Jarrod live and it was a fantastic show! Jarrod never disappoints and I'm looking forward to the next time. I am also excitedly awaiting his new album! He is a very kind and patient person signing autographs and taking photos with his fans, which I am his top one!

I have been a fan of Rick Braun since I was a teenager! I told my husband when we got married that I had several boyfriends and they’re all Jazz Artists and Rick is definitely one of them. We’ve seen Rick in concert soooo many times and he NEVER DISAPPOINTS!!! He’s a fantastic trumpeter and entertainer!!! So glad we were able to see him at the FANTASTIC MIDDLE C JAZZ!!!

These guys were way better than I expected. I know a few Van Morrison songs and I consider myself to be a neutral fan. I knew more songs that I expected and the songs sounded on point. The band was also very interactive with the crowd. I'd see them again.

Loved Selwyn, his band, and the venue. As a result, had a lot of fun. Selwyn engaged the crowd and his music was excellent. Will definitely see him again!

Jarrod was absolutely fantastic. He sounded great and the band did as well. His original songs were thought provoking and the cover songs he did sounded as great as the originals. Jarrod took time for pictures with fans. We will definitely be on the lookout when he returns to Charlotte.

Very much enjoyed the music and the singing. Curtis and the band had lots of energy and that made the evening fun and memorable. The Middle C Jazz venue was awesome but the volume was a little too loud last night for me and my friend. We’ve been to many other shows at Middle C Jazz and that was the only (small) downside of the evening. In the end, we look forward to seeing Curtis Salgado the next time he and the band comes back to Middle C Jazz.

it was an amazing show. She is got an beautiful voice and incredible personality. worth every penny and the Rhythm 4 U Band was so locked in. can't wait to see her again and hopefully she is performing with the same band next time

Middle C Jazz is always a nice place to enjoy good music and food with drinks Eric Darius was an outstanding performer. He did not come out with the band but came out from the side through the audience and perform from the time he hit the stage until the end. I would attend another show given by him.

She was phenomenal as was the rest of her band. Her raw talent combined with years of experience has allowed her the ability to sing any genre she pleases. Her new show is not to be missed. And I believe she has finally found her true self.

AMAZING...AMAZING...AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! We were thoroughly entertained from the time JJ and Rebecca hit the stage. Whether when they were performing solo or together, you couldn't stop clapping, bobbing your head or swaying back and forth to the sounds of her beautiful voice and his magical fingers. There were a few selections in which some couples got up to dance. I would highly recommend seeing them live.

The show was amazing! I enjoyed every part of it! My wife and I will definitely be returning for future events! Eric is the real deal! Thanks Middle C for being such a great host! Oh yeah, the food was fabulous!
