We cannot count the number of times we have seen the Boys over the years but this was so special to hear/see them in our home town. We were so concerned about Joey. He obviously felt bad but still pushed through and performed. He is in our prayers now. I could not believe the Temple was not packed out but Meridian only has a small number of event-going people. The night of the concert Jay Leno was at the MSU Riley center. So many of the small group of event-goers have season tickets at the Riley Center so I have attributed the lower attendance to that.
As always the Oak Ridge Boys were not a disappointment! Loved every minute and we had awesome second row seats. We also enjoyed the opening star Amber Hayes.
Such a fun show! Amber’s voice was amazing and she was so entertaining and likable. Can’t wait to see her again!
I Absolutely loved the show!! Calvin appreciates his fans and shows gratitude to those that spend their money to see him. My husband and I drove from Atlanta to Mississippi just to see him. The venues seating was uncomfortable and outdated but his performance made up for ALL of that!! I pray he makes it far in his career but that he remains humble like he is now. Love You C.R. !!!!!

I was gonna talk to you about it last night but didn't want to be "a downer." But my heart needed uplifting & got it. You (& family) always hit the refresh button for me. I wish I could make it to Gadsden tonight but it's 3 hrs & I have no way to get there. But you guys give hell some hell! 😉 #ItWillBeWorthItAfterAll #LoveIsStronger
It was fantastic. My only complaint was the sound in the Temple Theater is not good at all because it’s such an old building.
I love you all!! Great seeing y'all again last night in Meridian, Ms. I wish I could be in Gadsden, Al to see y'all again tonight. (3 hr ride) But as y'all see, my body doesn't cooperate. But, "It'll Be Worth It After All", right? Take care of yourselves & God bless you all.
