The Cultural Center of Cape Cod

We have listened to Greg Abate in various venues. The Cultural Arts Center in Yarmouth is a very comfortable environment in which to hear music. You can even bring your own wine, but be sure to bring your own wine, openers and glasses! Greg was absolutely fantastic as were the other members of his quartet (pianist, bass and drummer). He played brilliantly on the tenor sax. But were were also the flute and a soprano sax. He is meticulous in his performance, yet his positive emotion comes through loud and clear. His quartet's ability to change the timbre, the beat and the era of music demonstrates outstanding versatility. In short, Greg preforms consistently with amazing energy, talent and versatility. Uplifting, incredible vocals and harmonizing to their own songs. This duo plays a variety of instruments- guitars, accordions, violins and keyboard. Completely entertaining 1 1/2 hours of music interjected with funny stories about their musical experiences. Consistently entertaining pair-never disappoint. The venue was simple, beautiful, and excellent acoustics.
