Honestly an amazing show. Such energy, character plus superb songs (every one!) and phenomenal musicians. Was expecting a great show but this went above and beyond any reasonable expectations. Also a truly fantastic venue, superb acoustics, great staff and facilities..
Best band I have heard since I first heard oasis play supersonic on the word in the 90's, and i got the same feeling the first time I heard these guys, Kiaran is a songwriting genius and their live performances never disappoint
Amazing venue, and Matt performed like the genius he is, with a couple of the national songs and blue Monday by new order for us older and unwiser ones, enjoyed every minute and if you can I advise you to see Matt live, his voice is stronger then ever
The band was amazing such an unreal act! Seen them a few times however the venue was shocking oversold it? Too many people felt packed and unsafe wouldn’t recommend going the Albert hall in Manchester ever again
I love the artist. The venue is very cool, nice size, good set, good bar, staff helpful etc. The sound reproduction was poor tho. Antony is a poet, you need to hear his words and none of us could do this sadly.
The blossoms concert was absolutely fantastic we love going watching them perform. Never been to the Albert Hall before and was amazed how beautiful it was inside and then blossoms performed and it was even better and felt like an intermit performance. We have been to many of there concerts but this felt like the best. Can’t wait for the next one.
Blooming brilliant show from masters of electroswing. A heady mix of classic songs and the newer electronic tracks from this year's Gang Busters Melody album. Even without their full light show the music does the trick with the crowd whipped into a frenzy time and again. 90 mins felt like 5 and yet there were so many tracks not played. A truly unforgettable night.
The event was great! Not too sure about the "Two headliners" being a thing in the UK. Having Two big acts on the same night was a bit odd.. People left after The Struts which was a shame, because Barns Courtney was really good too!
The positives: The Bar, The Venue was great and the acts were also awesome.
The negatives: The acoustics were a bit off, in particular for Barns's performance.. The backing noise over ran Batns's voice a litttle bit.
Nethertheless, it was great!
Absolutely amazing gig. The Albert Hall is a great venue and Beth and her band were on top form. The sound quality was really first class highlighting Beth’s wonderful voice and her bands top quality playing. Together with a very impressive light show, all adds up to truly a gig to remember.
That was an absolutely amazing gig. Beth and her band payed a really special set. Just an hour and 10 minutes but on this occasion less was more.
Great venue, beautiful lights and so clear sound.
If the Michelin would award not only restaurants and food but the music as well this gig was a deffo the one which deserves Michelin stars.
Thank you
Brilliant gig. I had read all previous reviews of this tour & the reviews weren't great. But, I saw them live & granted Mr McCullough can't hit the high notes anymore but so what, he's 40 years older!
I thoroughly enjoyed it, I had a great view of them all.
All the great songs, sure they didn't sing a couple of my companions favourites, but they didn't play mine we would have been there all night!
Don't worry about the reviews, go see/hear for yourself. For the last two days I have been singing their songs. I thought that they were great.
Phenomenal! Ashley will always have a place in Manchester hearts. This was hands down the best concert i've ever been to. The crowd showed their love for Ashley and her for the crowd. Vocals on point! Her enthusiasm for what she does is off the chart! Should absolutely be headlining C2C 2025!
My very first concert.
Absolutely unforgettable, loved the music, setting at the Albert Hall was lovely and I really enjoyed hearing the backstory behind each song.
The only criticism I have is that "I feel love" wasn't one of the songs performed.
Thanks for an amazing night.
Hope to see you again in Manchester soon.
A knock out gig. Polished, intelligent and cool. A real uptempo set with chill vibe. First time hearing them live and what a treat. The crowd were really responding to their craft and topped off by being in one of the most impressive music venues I’ve been in.
Absolutely one of the best small intimate venues you could go & attend a gig at the atmosphere & acoustics are amazing & as for The Lathums . Simply the best band around @ the moment & for a long time to come . Love attending their gigs awesome night out seeing these lads 😊😊🥰😛
It was amazing! I laughed, cried, screamed, sang and danced with abandon. It was the best hour of therapy I've ever had. Self Esteem AKA RLT is an icon in every sense of the word. I implore everyone to go and watch her live.
Excellent concert by Tom - really great atmosphere. The band were amazing, and the support act was great. Excellent venue and beer prices were not too expensive. Thanks for a great night Tom and all involved.
Support act inappropriate! Awful h******e thrash metal - no b****y thanks! Great perf from Big Thief - though hope next wave of new material will have a few faster songs like Snake Smile and Not which were both amazing!
Performance was class, Goldlink really knows how to entertain a crowd, the whole crowd was enjoying it, even the ones in the area above the stage. Only Criticism is that he didn’t do the whole Diaspora album, but the whole thing was really good and I would definitely go again. The Venue also suited Goldlink’s performance really well.
Natasha as usual was awe inspiring with her beautiful vocals in a stripped back and intimate performance, including songs from her current record as well as some from her back catalogue and some very emotional and touching covers!
One of the best gigs I’ve ever been to! She was my first ever live music experience over 10 years ago and hope to see her again! One of my all time favourite artists!
