Christmas came early 🤩 so good the guys are back. The show was (way too short) but f*** ing amazing, full of energy and only happy people in the room..so happy I came all the way from Berlin for this
Its was absolutely amazing exactly the fact i got hug and everything the man of my dreams ive love this man for years he's been everything to me i will never forget this moment and i cant wait see him again on 1st July again anf next year aswell he is my rock.
Great sound, had a blast!
The new lineup did the old and new stuff justice.
Also spent a lot of the gig questioning if there was actually a drummer - they love their fog machines 🤣
I feel like I'm the only fan who loves the album Luminous -i'm pretty sure I'll never get to hear any of this live. But that's the way she goes
Great gig, looking forward to the next one
Good gig.., sanada and his band put on a really good show. My only issue with this venue is the constant talking in the audience towards the bar area whilst the artist is singing.. totally lack of respect in my opinion.
Wednesday 13 was awesome as always, so why give them 3 stars? It's not about the band or their performance. Not even the fault of the 2 coked up idiots in the pit knocking women and older folk flying. But because of the support bands! The first one sounded like Creed, the second one sounded like My Chemical Romance. Most W13 fans were bored to death having to endure these 2 teeny bopper bands, including myself. Thankfully I met a lot of really cool people at the gig, and they all shared my oppinion. If you're gonna have 2 support bands, at least make them in the same genre as the headliner
Fantastic evening at Chalk - Glenn and Martin delivered a great performance. We try and see them whenever they in the region as they have a great repertoire and really engage with the audience. However many times we’ve been they always seem to enjoy the events as much as we do.
Chalk was a lovely venue too
With Peter Buck on guitar, a fantastic drummer. Songs from both albums were played. It seemed too short, but Fanx to our free world, musik isn’t allowed to be played live after the 23:00 curfew or your friendly establishment will be force to close down said the law snd the hordes of cops that enforce it…
One of the best gigs I have ever seen. Jack White is one of the greatest performers in music, and to see that talent in a small venue was a special experience.
He played for about 90 min and it felt like 10 min, I could have watched him play all night.
Great night in Brighton. The Treatment banged out the tunes as good as ever but it was only a short set as The Dead Daisies were to follow. Another great show. Can’t wait to see them all again!!
the academic themselves and siobhan were absolutely amazing but the venue didn’t feel like it was made for a concert! too many people cramped in and the photographers had to keep getting security to let them backstage but overall it was really good!!
Exceeded my expectations, I thought Drab Majesty would be good but wow, they were incredible. They look and sound awesome. Chalk's a great venue, good sound and very intimate, ideal for experiencing something as mind-blowing as Drab Majesty. See them again? You b*t.
So f**king good!!
Better than I could have ever imagined! I first saw Atreyu back in 2006 when they played with 36crazyfists and I was not disappointed!
The set list was so good and to hear the band doing old songs but in their new style was fantastic! Blow and becoming bull are two of my favourite songs. loved hearing them along with a mix of their newer stuff.
Very imitate venue and the band really worked the crowd!
Superb gig, probably in my top 20 and I been to over 700 so some accolade.
Goat play great music dress up in masks and the 2 girl singers are non stop action. Chalk was really rocking.
The support band, Japanese Television, were pretty impressive too.
All in all a great night's entertainment in a lovely venue with excellent staff.
I actually can’t put into words how unbelievable this show was. After all these years, Wildlife still holds up so solidly and it was amazing being able to enjoy the entire album live. La Dispute is and always will be the best band to ever grace a stage. 10/10 would rock again.
Finally arrived in Brighton after the rain in the Church cancellation. She is a vibrant feel good singer even in her angry and sad songs. Strong vocals, catchy choruses and a fine band. Worthy of bigger venues ,- maybe next time.
Loved them from the beginning. Saw them at Victorious last year but the set was shorter but still incredible.
This was an outstanding 1.5 hour no stop set with amazing energy, vocal and musical skill off the scale. Crispin is an incredible front man and even if you don’t know their music all will enjoy. Can’t wait to see them again.
Amazing sound, energy and presence made for an unforgettable night. The artist is so down to earth and genuine, after the night he came out to meet fans and chat 1-1. Sven if you see this, I love u!
A great evening. The Arkells are a great live band and bring so much energy. Unfortunately this was the last concert of their European tour, but would highly recommended catching them next time. Hopefully they'll be able to play at some of the bigger venues next time around.
Fantastic gig where Alynda strode the stage with immense presence and delivered son
gs from Life on Earth at another level- absolutely stunning!!
She engaged with the audience really well and explained the background to her songs which was appreciated by all those there.
The band were great and the sound system really delivered her vocals as well as the music in a great mix !
I look forward to seeing her again!!
at Chalk really provided a great mix with the vocals clear but also with a powerful
B****y fantastic! Maseo couldn't make it. They were joined by Dres from Black Sheep and Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def)... not just for a few songs, but for the majority of the gig! There were tributes to J Dilla and MF Doom. They also performed Feel Good Inc.
