the venue sucks; very cool never been before but the audio is garbage if you sit at the top or even in the middle; they don't tap into the venues speakers so the speakers from the floor are blasting up to you but it makes it echo, gives it feedback, and you can't hear them when they are talking. Fun to be apart of the crowd and sing along and hear everyone singing but the venues audio/ the audio engineers are garbage. The visuals were cool but were too small for such a big venue. Kendrick & SZA were great amazing performers; the SOFI is just garbage and doesn't have great audio rather see them in a parking lot lol probably sound better than the stadium.
Amazing just get there early bc he starts big don't miss "Squable Up" if you like that song. I was looking for my seat 715pm had to deal with a ticket 🎟 issue. Anywho, he is a true artist so just get there on time.
Amazing show! This band has the most awesome energy. Billy Joe Armstrong has great showman ship . He is very interactive and knows how to work the crowd. I saw them one other time 13 years ago and they are definitely one of my favorite bands to see live.
This was the most epic show I’ve been to and that’s saying a lot! As a musician myself it is not lost upon me the resilience and maintenance Green Day has shown throughout the years and now culminating in a FLAWLESS performance and stage presence, bringing generations of people together-bravo!
Unbelievable and badass to see them live, sound great for their age. Not as good as their prime voices but still sound really good. Amazing people there met and made new metallica family/friends. If you can’t bite the bullet to see them, go do it. It’s worth it. So cool seeing some of the most ICONIC thrash metal bands of all time. 🤘🤘
Absolutely, an AMAZING show!!! I just wish that these guys can perform for 2 hours. They will always end around the 90 minute mark. The venue is gorgeous but will still need to work on the acoustics. Parking is horrible and they gouge you but you have no choice. I wish that parking will come down a little. $80 parking is almost enough to buy a nosebleed seat for this show.
Great show! We went both nights and had an amazing time! I believe it was a little misleading when we purchased the tickets. It said it’d be a different set list each evening, but there were only 2-3 different songs played, and in a different order.
I had been tracking their set list and they had played welcome home.... On cake leper Messiah. And top it off welcome home was played on the 27th show. The Pantera puzzle was really strong actually. Anselmo has adjusted his vocals on certain songs on smart ways
It was LITERALLY the greatest experience of my life. OH MY GOSH I have never been so so so happy in my life. I wish I could have met her but hey I got to see her perform UP CLOSE AND PERSONALLY LIKE OMG WHAAAT nothing can top that. Thank you sofi stadium and thank you thank you thank you P!NK for taking the time to go on tour and thank you for writing your music. P!NK inspires me like no other artist, and she has my whole heart💗
Beyoncé was amazing but SOFI was a terrible venue. Sound quality was bad as were visuals for those of us sitting on the side of the stage. SoFi should have big screens on either side of the stage. The tiny screen was hard to view and inexcusable considering the ticket prices.
Never a disappointment!!! Always a great show even in a bad venue. SoFi is a horrible place to see anything but Metallica made the place better for two nights. So many great songs to choose from and they did some deep cuts as well. Always a great show with Metallica. That is why they are the greatest band in the world!!!!
This was my first Metallica show and the first at this venue, and it was everything I expected and more...simply AWESOME! Each of the band members are amazing in their own way, but together they played a tight, seamless set. It was a very special evening for me, one that I will never forget!
The sound system at SoFi was horrid. It was just ‘crunchy’ for lack of a better word.
I was jacked up to see Pantera and to relive their songs, but the venue did not allow for that. Beyond frustrating and sad. And mostly a waste of money because of it.
I got obstructed view tickets - could still see but I wish I had a better frontal view- but hey he did great really close to us & brought out so many quests including chencho corleone, Ivy queen, bomba estero , bowel y randy!!! 😫🥰
Def Leppard was amazing!!
They played their greatest hits but also some from their new album. The crowd was into it as well, mostly us 50+ something’s out there remembering the great 80’s of our youthful days.
The show was at least an hour and a half as they came in after Joan Jett (who always puts on a great show) and Poison (good show). The sound level and bass were perfect as well unlike Motley Crue who seemingly cranked up their bass to drown out Vince Neil’s failing voice. (Vince Neil sounded like Sam Kinison)……. But back to the Def Leppard show.
Lasers and lights and amazing sounds and the guitars and drums were better than ever. And, their voices were very good considering how long they have been at it. Def Leppard was definitely the highlight of the show and they should have been the headliner.
The Crue was just okay, to be honest. For whatever reason, the sound for them was not as clear as the previous 3 bands either. I thought they would be "on it", with being home, but they weren't. Vince's singing of the songs is either garbled, run together, or skipping words altogether. My wife, who is a huge fan of the band said, "I can't even understand him." This has been going on for years, but with the pandemic and this tour starting 2+ years later, we expected more, and it wasn't delivered.
Well I just like to say that I'm a huge fan of all the bands that played at the stadium tour here in Southern California in Los Angeles on August 27th 2022. The stadium is a great place and the best of all the video production for all the bands was great! That's the best video production that I have ever seen in a stadium concert loved it! When Def Leppard was playing the song photograph they did a video collage of all Def leppard's photos from out the years and brought a tear to my eye. I so love these bands and they're so iconic and I'm so happy that they were all successful over the years. Just watching that picture collage of Def Leppard and Motley Crue just shook me up. I grew up with these bands and they're just a huge part of my life and I'm glad they're successful today happy for them like if it was for myself. Had a great show and a great night. Okay now on to the negative. The only thing I don't like about sofi stadium is it is a big stadium it is nice and I had an idea where I parked but when they let you out at the end of the night and you're at the other end of the stadium you get turned around and you don't know where you're at. There's so many cars there and it's so hard to find your car and you really have to remember which parking lot and the letter of the section that you're in. Because if you don't you're going to get screwed and you're going to take you a long time to walk around trying to find your car. They should have had trams to take people into the sections that they were parked. The only killer about this stadium too is they do not take cash there you have to either use debit card or credit card. Don't understand that. Is it really that much of a pain in the ass! To do accounting for cash?. As long as cash is still legal in the United States of America I shouldn't have to charge or use debit cards for purchases. And why in the hell! Would a stadium want to spend millions and millions of dollars in credit card fees is beyond me. Also shirts were $50 plus completely ridiculous! There were guys selling shirts outside of the stadium for $25 and the shirt quality was way better than the shirt quality that they were selling in the stadium. You could get a lot thicker quality cotton t-shirt from the ones that they were selling in there. I suggest anybody going to a concert in the future if you see those guys selling shirts outside the stadium by them there because they're going to be way too expensive in there and the quality is good. And as far as the stadium goes the sound quality was horrible! If you go on Google reviews and look at recent comments about people that went to that stadium tour they all agree that the sound sucked! You would think that they spend millions and millions of dollars of building a stadium and you can't get a something as simple as good sound coming out of there unbelievable. You think they would do sound checks or have people or sound engineers at different part of the stadium so when the music plays they can tell if the vocals are drowned out or if something is just not right, unbelievable. Either their sound engineers suck! Or their whole audio system is just garbage! Why in the hell! Would you cheap out on putting a good sound system in there is beyond me. I suggest wherever those sound engineers there either fire them get better ones if that's the issue or get a better sound system. So I suggest to anybody who's reading this review if you go see a concert there take it with a grain of salt the sound may be good may not be good take your chances. And as far as Google reviews a lot of people agreed with me and said the same similar thing about the sound issue there. But as far as the bands are concerned it's not their fault if the sound sucks there but they all put on a great performance I have no gripe with that best stadium production ever but the sound for sofi stadium sucked!
Great Show. Knew I'd like Motley Crüe & Joan Jett. They both sounded great when I've seen them recently. Was not sure how I would feel about Poinson & Def Leppard. I was so happy to find that both Def Leppard & Poison sounded great. High energy performances with great sounding vocals & all the bands were tight. I would recommend this Stadium tour for anyone who is a fan of any of the bands on the bill. Because all of them will put on a great show.
Had VIP Nation ticket, no one knew where i was supposed to go. Found there was a hidden VIP check in where u got a bag, VIP poster, plastic VIP ticket stub, and two drink vouchers. Drink vouchers are only redeemable at two of 6 available stations and for beer or wine only. Staff directed me wrong directions about 4 times
Paul is a perfectionist and even at almost 80 years old he performed non-stop hits for 2 1/2 hours. With every Beatle song and story, memories came rushing back. He gave a heartfelt tribute to both George and John❤️ Thank you to Paul for a lovely night to share with my husband and daughter. SoFi stadium was beautiful and impressive. The parking was a breeze and leaving when the concert ended was the most organized I’ve ever experienced! 5* all the way around!
