Probably the best performance that I have gotten to see by senses fail! The screaming was epic sounded like the old band, energy was off the hook too. The sound was a bit off and sometimes it was difficult hear various parts of the band from vocals to guitar. Seems like they fiddled with it throughout the set as some songs were great and others a bit off. Senses Fail was my favorite band growing up so I always enjoy seeing them. The screaming made my night, very happy I went out on a Monday night to see them. The stories and setup this time around made the experience really awesome it seems like they’re having fun out there!
Her stage presence, her dancing, HER VOICE!! So so beautiful. It was such a magical experience and I’m glad I got to see my favorite artist live! I also got to meet her in person, though I was soo shy lol (wish I could have said more!) , she was so so sweet. Truly, a dream come true!! I love you Raveena!! Come back to Seattle pleasse🦋🌧️💕
The From Ashes To New Boys NEVER disappoint !
Last night in Seattle they gave the type of performance that they are known for . High energy , epic crowd interaction and absolute kindness at VIP.
They’d just dealt with having another bus break down and riding with there whole Crew and all the necessary gear In a passenger van with a U-Haul to make it to Seattle for the show to happen. You’d have never known if they hadn’t updated the fans.
Shout out to their whole Crew as well!
Fantastic show! Superb band! Will Sergeant is one of the GOATs. Ian or Mac whichever version you get is incoherent at times and also Smashing! Very special to get to see Adam Peters play his cello with them, I won’t forget that for sure. Great mix of songs, would have loved to hear 1-2 tracks from Electafixion, but maybe another time. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the incredibly dark stage and blinding blue led’s facing the crowd and far too much fog. I also must include one other treat was watching guitarist Gordy Goudie “Simple Minds” rip it up..
Sadly our experience was not what we had hoped! This was my son’s graduation gift. I bought two VIP with Meet N Greet. The organization of venue and the way VIP is treated were not what would be expected. We bought but never received a Q & A session as we paid for. The meet n greet is very rushed and not as personable as hoped. Merchandise was a posted and a journal. Last time there fans said they got a whole bag of merch. Sound was off for Kid Laroi and I’m guessing the fog machine incident caused him not to sing his whole set. For a once in a lifetime chance for my son, this was really a bummer. 💔
Event was fantastic! VIP experience was completely worth it. Venue had a fantastic vibe. The artist put on a fantastic show!! Boywithuke is amazing!! Only negative would be that the venue was a standing room only except for the reserved tables and bar area. "Standing room only" was fine for the adults but there was a good amount of kids that couldn't see. As a result the parents were VERY rude about expecting people to move for them and their kids. I know that this sounds mean, but the other concert goers bought tickets too. My son who was standing next to the stage AND had a VIP ticket, was bullied by a few parents because he wouldn't move for their small kids. He wasn't the only one. Kids were trying to climb up on metal handrails to try and see. A small child hanging out on the stairs, spilled a drink on my adult daughter standing below. The stairs were supposed to remain clear! I feel bad for the kids because they are fans and did want to see the concert, but for a standing room only it just doesn't work for kids that are half the size of an adult. These parents should complain to the artist and or company that arranged the concert rather than bully other concert goers that bought tickets as well. I would say that it may be a good idea to express to concert goes about it being standing room only means that small children might not have the ability to see. Other than that, thank you boywithuke!!! Oh and THANK YOU to all that worked security. Such nice people that worked really hard!
Great show! Ministry kicked ass as always but it was cool to see Gary Numan and Frontline Assembly. Frontline had some killer visuals for physcidelic concert goers. All these bands are in their later years but they don't play like it. Same energy as 30yrs ago. Get your Ministry shirts early. I waited till end of show to get mine and they were all sold out.
Show: One of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time! Phenomenal stage presence and choreography. The backup dancers ripped it up with her! The crowd had great energy. Overall good time!
Venue: They could’ve opened the doors sooner considering that it was a sold out show and people were still in line waiting to get in when Tommy Genesis began to play. They’re missing the show at that point and not getting their money’s worth in tickets.
At seventy five years old, I was probably about the oldest person in the room. In my life I've seen a good many of the 'Guitar Gods' including Hendrix, Eddie VH, John Mahavishnu McLaughlin, Clapton in Cream, Michael Bloomfield with Dylan, Jeff Beck, Skunk Baxter, and others. As a fan for the last year or so, I wanted to see these guys in person and they did not disappoint. They were great technically and stage performance wise, total masters of their craft. Polyphia is pushing the envelope of R&R and I dig it. The future is in good hands!
A great concert from City Morgue. The line before the concert went from the venue and wrapped around the corner! When I and my friend first got there people pulled up in an old steampunk-esque car and were blasting City Morgue along with more cars pulling up on the side of the road. vein.fm played for around the first 45 minutes of the concert while I moved up in the crowd and for a first-time listener I thought they had a sick set! The DJ set started and I moshed for GBC, G59, X, and Ski. City Morgue came on and I moshed the first 20 minutes before losing my friend in the moshpit and meeting him at the merch stands. My other friend who is a dwarf got crowd-surfed up to the front and pissed Zilla off not wanting him to go onstage but seeing him get up there was awesome. I got a video of that and me moshing out to Skull and Crossbones. At the end, they started playing the older more iconic songs (nitro cellular/shinners13) and I got my best moments watching SosMula perform on the right side of the stage. The concert ended and we left the venue with Mr. Brightside playing. Overall this concert went amazing for my first concert. The only critique I had is that no new albums had come out or has come out by City Morgue since and for a tour that was marketed around MBA aside from the merch it wasn't MBA-themed and the project might've been scraped entirely.
Casual fan here. I thought the show was fine but a little overpriced for what it was. The show itself was a lot of fun and I really liked the vibe, but I was a little disappointed by the music quality. Death Grips already has a little bit of a muffled sound and so it sounded a lot more muffled than usual. This was true for a lot of the beats and especially his voice, I couldn't make out any lyrics. I wasn't able to recognize a lot of the songs unless the beat was electronic-sounding or a memorable hook.
I probably wouldn't go again for the same price but if I was a hardcore fan or the concert was cheaper I would see them again.
it was absolutely amazing, was the best experience ever and im so happy i got to see my favorite band live i honestly have no words. i cried when they came on stage and many other times that night and i probably will every other time i see them live whenever that may be because it was such an incredibly emotional experience for me. they interacted with the fans so much and were super sweet. i honestly miss being at the concert and with the other members of the royal council so much, i truly felt like i was at home.
I had so much fun at this concert! I can’t even start to explain how amazing this concert was. They are so kind and it shows that they genuinely love their fans, I can’t believe I even got to meet them!!! So far this has been the best concert of many I’ve been to🖤 (it’s already been like 3 weeks and me and my friend can’t stop taking about it ✋🏼)
I SO LOVE OOR!! ❤️ I REALLY WANTED TO SEE IT THIS YEAR. MY ELDEST DAUGHTER WENT THO.. I WISH SHOWBOX WOULD LET SHORT PEOPLE IN THE FRONT AND THE TALL FAT PEOPLE IN THE BACK. I MEAN INO ITS A CONCERT BUT SOME GIRLS ARE JUST SO FAT AN TALL THAT US SHORT GIRLS CANT EVEN SEE THE STAGE, LET ALONE TRYING NOT TO GET SQUASHED BY THEM WHEN JUMPING AND DANCING.. GEEZ!! SERIOUSLY, I WISHED SHOW BOX WOULD MAKE THE FRONT ROW LIKE A 4FT SPACE FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER FOR ALL THOSE WHOM ARE UNDER 5'3"... I WOULD HAVE ENJOYED IT BETTER.. I WANT OOR TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR. IM SAVING UP FOR IT. I WISHED I WAS GOING TO "THE ROSE" CONCERT IN NOV. 2022.. BUT CANT AFFORD HOTEL OR TRAVEL COSTS. I LIVE IN MONTANA. I WISHED THEY WOULD COME HERE TO MISSOULA.. OVER ALL, OOR CANT EVER DISAPPOINT ME.. THEY ARE FREAKING AWESOME!! Im 58yrs. old, and love my, J rock and K rock bands.
The show was okay. I actually think that Simple Plan probably had the best set of the night, even though I specifically went to see Sum 41. One of the biggest complaints I would have is more for the venue, seeing as it was nearly impossible to actually see the show unless you were lucky enough to get a spot right by the stage. I am not short, but I still had to stand on my tiptoes most the time to even see the tops of their heads. The only way I could see the show at all was to hold my phone up and use the camera so that I could watch my phone screen to see the stage.
Aurora was incredible as as always! Met a lot of amazing people in the line and had a great time with everyone. The only downside was they let 21+ in the venue first, so some of us who were waiting in line for hours got in after people who got there at 7 simply because they were older. I was lucky enough to get to the front anyways but that really wasn’t fair.
Great show from a great band. They came out after their set to hang with fans in crowd for over an hour. Shake hands, swap stories, autographs, photos, just being cool people and truly appreciating fans. NO high priced meet and great for only the people that can afford that sort of thing. Thank you COC for a great evening. Stay safe and Beware of GOD my brothers!
Jacob and the band were awesome! The sound quality was pretty bad which is because the venue has little or no acoustic correction. The audience although very appreciative, all stood still for the 2 1/2 hour long concert. I could barely walk when it was over. Thank you Jacob Collier! I really loved all the audience interaction and how much respect he gave to not just the band but the rest of his crew.
She was amazing. The only issue I had was with the venue. I paid for her VIP experience. Checkin was supposed to be 530-6pm. They did not let us in until about 6:30ish. There were hella people standing in the rain. Then they let people who paid GA into the bar area while we stayed in the rain. I think this was more due to the Venue vs Jojo.
The storytelling was nice. Jojo was kind. She was very attentive and present while we asked our questions.
The show was amazing. She had high energy and her vocals were on point. I loved the visuals from the light show.
I’m never disappointed by these guys! Saw them twice in October at Ace of Spades ♠️ ... the Trick or Treat your and the next day at Aftershock Festival. This show at Showbox was just as much fun and a totally different stage show 👍
I also had VIP and was able to meet the band 🥰 I only wish the VIP structure had been a little more personal 💜
Can’t wait to see the band again! I wonder where that may be 🤩
