This was the 3rd time seeing Joe Bonamassa. As always he was amazing. I highly recommend seeing him if the opportunity arises.
Joe Bonamassa
Premiere Theater At Foxwoods Casino, Ledyard, Conn.
March 1st, 2025
Did Bonamassa’s recent performance at the Grammy’s take the chip off his shoulder? Not a chance. But he’s still the king of the blues guitarists, with a commanding tone reminiscent of Free’s Paul Kossoff. His sublime taste in covers included Guitar Slim’s Well I Done Got Over It and soared on Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland’s 24 Hour Blues. He removed his trademark shades briefly before strapping on a Telecaster and tearing through Led Zep’s How Many More Times. His take on Freddie King’s Pack It Up had as much power as the Texas Cannonball himself.
The Heart That Never Waits made worthy use of backup vocalists Jade McCray and Danielle DeAndrea. Some of JB’s grouchiness surfaced when the entire crowd of 3,600 didn’t immediately stand for keyboardist Reese Wynans’s intro. “What do ya all have gout? C’mon!” That did the trick.
Encore, Mountain Time, from 2002’s breakthrough, So, It’s Like That, glided from heavy riffage to quiet passages that hushed the audience.
The dinging slot machines didn’t come close to drowning out a show with no filler.

Randy Houser always puts on one of the best true country shows. Never miss him when he comes to CT!
His voice is as incredible in live concert as his recorded works! Great concert and experience!
The TLC concert was great. Nice venue for a concert. Our seats were good. And TLC was awesome!
This was awesome!! They are incredible in person! The band was so fun and super nice! I can’t wait for the next album, snd the next tour, I loved the concert!! Rob was so sweet to answer my questions, and listen to my opinion. Their music is amazing, and I hope they continue for years to come!!
This band was awesome. We were thrilled to see them. Please, please come to Boston - there's a nice waterfront venue you'd love! Bostonians would love to see you too!!
What a great show! I'm not a huge country fan, but my husband and adult children are. We had a great time. They had great energy, and their voices were wonderful. I'm now a fan too! I would see them again.
4th time seeing them and it was not an awesome experience. It had nothing to do with the band though. It was a product of the venue and crowd. They were playing at Foxwoods casino. And not even in Foxwoods largest theatre. On top of that, about a third of the attendees, you could tell weren’t really midland fans. They were just Foxwoods rewards members who were likely at the show because it was either free or at a big discount because of their casino rewards that they were using/cashing in. Kind of like the way people use credit card points to book flights and hotels. This, in combination with the fact that there was no opening act made for a more than mild crowd.
So mild that nobody was even standing for the first two songs. Mark had to actually encourage/coax everyone to stand up. I would personally not see midland again if there is no opener. Because the opener gets the crowd revved up, but not only did midland not have that….but they played in a no-hum venue to a crowd that only contained about 2/3 of actual fans.
B- show …
The band had serious headwinds with a 25% empty theatre and a crowd of comped-for-free casino attendees.
But… they disappointingly also cut out some favorites to get everyone back to the gaming tables. Not cool, imho 😕
Will they bring more game to Red Rocks later this summer? I hope so!
Seeing and hearing KEB Mo was right up there with seeing BB King in Providence years ago!!
So so grateful to have gone to this!!! 🩷🩷🩷
Excellent show, she has definitely still got “IT” and her band w/Neil Giraldo playing all those classic riffs & songs, made for a memorable night!
Collin Raye never disappoints! Foxwoods Premier Theater is a great place to see a show.
Great show as always!
Super nice guys we even got a photo op.
Can't wait 'til you stop in CT again !
Absolutely AWESOME show! Jordan’s music is already outstanding but hearing it live makes it that much better. Such a good show. I encourage anyone who has the chance to go see him. You’ll thank me 👍🏻
It’s a shame that Comparisons will always be made,, that’s the only drawback, because Wolf and his band are brilliantly talented musicians in their own right, and a really fun show to watch from start to finish!
Sevendust performed as they always do...full out! Sevendust NEVER disappoints!
If you've never seen them and want to see what a great rock/metal show is...see Sevendust! The gold standard! Have seen them well over 50 times and NOT ONCE have I ever felt like they were just going through the motions! They play like the show I'm at is their only show they have!
Foxwoods theater not a great place for music however...acoustics not that great!
Sevendust has and will always be a phenomenal band every time I see them I will never be disappointed.
Great show. Mammoth, Sevendust, and Alter Bridge all rocked. Great time and they all sounded great. Can’t wait to see them all again.
Best performer ever! Maxwell’s voice is smooth as silk. He is INCREDIBLE live. We had front row & we were in awe for the entire show. He is a musical genius, yet so endearing, humble and so appreciative of his fans. I have loved him for over 25 years and yet this was my 1st show- why did I wait so long to miss out on this angelic live voice?! We can’t wait to see him again!
