GREAT show! Too bad cut short with a thunderstorm.
Great show, and great setlist, Built to Spill played great and the crowd was great. Pioneer Square is definitely a tight space for a show this size though.
the only thing bad is security was weird and mean
Both Sierra and Nick Shoulders (opener) were excellent performers. Great bands, yodeling and whistling. Great songwriting.
So glad I attended.
Super fun. I saw them back in 1995 and it was just as cool!!!
The Wood Brothers are tremendous live! Great show!
Amazing show! I saw them about 20 years ago and they are even better now!
It was the best concert ever I was in front I LOVED SO MUCHHH
I loved Interpol and to be surrounded by the city made it so cool!
Been wanting to see them for many years, they did not disappoint! Good mix of old and new. Wonderful show.
Spoon was outstanding as always! We really enjoyed the medley of a lot of their mid-career songs at the beginning, plus a number of songs from their new album. The set was too short; I had hoped that when Interpol opened for them, that Spoon's set would be longer, but it was only about an hour fifteen.
My son really wished they had played Don't Make Me a Target and Chicago at Night, but it was not to be...
The Live PDX stage lighting was almost always back-lit, so you couldn't see the performers very well. Otherwise, Pioneer Square was a cool venue.
I have been a fan of The Shins for a long time and I always wanted to see them play live but never have until this week. We saw them at the Paramount Theater in Seattle on Tuesday night (the 13th) and then again on the last night of the tour at the Pioneer Courthouse Square on Friday night (the 16th). The set list was almost exactly the same with the full, album-ordered song list from Oh, Inverted World followed by a short list of other great songs. Mercer definitely seemed to be having more fun at the Portland show (probably because it was the last night of a two month tour and he slept in his own bed for the first time in a while the night before!) but both shows were absolutely fantastic. I am so glad that we were able to see this band play and I can only hope that they have new music and future tours in the works. I would see them every time that I could anytime they are in the Pacific Northwest. BTW, a shout-out also to the opening band, Joseph. We saw Natalie Schepman open for Deep Sea Diver earlier this year and were excited to see her with her sisters in Joseph open for The Shins. They also came back out as sang back-up on the Oh, Inverted World songs.
Feel like they could have played way longer.
Great show modest mouse is always a good show live!
Epically weird in all the right ways! We loved the show, thanks Modest Mouse!!!
Best show I’ve been too of all time
Parliament is a high-energy, fun band to watch and dance to. George Clinton still brings the positivity and Mothership connection, though his time at the front of the stage is clearly behind him. Pioneer Courthouse Square is actually a very nice, ad hoc concert venue with nice spacing and good facilities.
Great show with several special guests (Gregory Alan Isakov!) and a solid set list. Played about 90 minutes. Really a wonderful evening all around.
Absolutely amazing show! I love Blind Pilot, but holy moly, the special guest appearances were mind blowing. Wonderful, fabulous performances. Thank you all so much. 😊🎉❤️
Sitting with my aunt and cousin singing the songs! Fabulous!
