This was a terrific show. Phil Jamieson is an absolute class act as a frontman - a true performer and gracious MC, taking time to shout out their support crew individually, praising the warm up acts and his bandmates, with some fun anecdotes in-between great tunes. Grinspoon is definitely a band whose live performances really elevate their music. I just wish the foul-breathed overweight blokes who prefer to bash themselves up than watch the show would fcuk off back to their trailers. But even they couldn’t spoil a great night!

Waited all year to see Phil and the guys. Was more than worth the wait! What a show! The Spoon are such a great live act - go see them!

It was a cozy venue at UC Refectory. Perfect crowd and amount of space to vibe. I'm short so I wished the stage was higher. And we could hear the music clearly from standing at the back but the vocal mic could be more crisp; not sure what the venue needs in terms of AV equipment / settings to make this happen. Overall, I would go again. The Rubens were great and I enjoy their latest album. Their opening acts were fun too and I'm checking out their music.
