Absolute icon and a very sweet lady, 2nd time seeing Sasami and she never disappoints
Loved the show, the format and the whole event. Been to a few of these at Rough Trade and enjoy the small and intimate venue.
Would like to suggest raising the stage a little, or perhaps a raised area at the rear. We had a 2.5 hour drive so couldn't really get to the venue early and only just made it into the back of the room. That's not an issue in itself, someone has to stand there but with four of us all under 5'8", we're left with no view at all.
Thought The Lathums themselves were very generous with their time. With lots of people to get through, they were happy to have photos, sign anything and give each set of people all the time they needed.
Nice atmosphere. Great Event
Thanks
An amazing gig, was really cool to have the collaboration with CASHFORGOLD!
A mix of heavier and more ethereal sounding songs, covered a lot of ground in a satisfying way.
The crackerlacking Bug club were ace, full of energetic raw talent and well crafted songs, can’t wait to listen to the new LP on vinyl, The Bug Club are my new favorite guilty pleasure ; )
Kate’s our Willy Wonka of music, just so full of artistic musical creations, 9 sad symphonies (new LP) is so beautifully lyrically crafted and musically arranged, Kate’s personal acoustic live performance at Rough Trade Nottingham was so wonderful to watch and listen too, Kate has certainly laid the ‘foundations’ for her next chapter……
D ; )
Had a great night. Only one small issue was one of the party didn't get Niko's signature on their CD, there was a lot going on so must have been distracted. Otherwise signing was good and the music was awesome in my son's words.
met them all, great lovely guys and the show was intimate and mesmerising. 3rd time seeing them and they don't disappoint whatsoever - they even played stuff going back to the north stands for nothing and this is the six
Didn’t go so no why idea why I have been asked to review. (Put 5* as had to put something and it is hardly the band’s fault I did not go)
Awesome intimate gig and great to meet Frank and Dean. Legends
Wow
Met Jamie and spoke to him
What a man
It was just Shane the bass player promoting his new book not Napalm Death playing.
Amazing performance and top lads
Shame they were only on for 35 mins
Fantastic opportunity to meet them - especially these days when most bands try to charge fans £60 for being in their presence.
A wonderful, intimate and stripped down solo performance of songs from the new album On Grace & Dignity from Benjamin Woods aka the Golden Dregs. This is also a great venue with a lovely vibe.
One of my favourite live acts, great rapport between band and crowd and a little bit of twerking thrown in for good measure :D
Great small intimate performance and signing afterwards. Only 4 songs but still thoroughly enjoyable.
Great gig, full on performance from The Virginmarys who sounded great too.
Both support bands were also excellent, a brilliant night out for a brilliant price!
Nice to support a small live music venue too (though I might start a crowdfunder to get air con in Rough Trade Nottingham) 😉
first gig ever and got to meet miles and get a picture, he signed a guitar pick for me and he was super nice ! sounds brilliant live too :)
Great gig, very affable guys on stage and off, fantastic performers. Will definitely be watching them again.
