What a performance! Peck really has a style of his own, and an incomparable voice! He thoughtfully gave out roses to the best singalongers, dancers, and even a 2 year old. He really got the crowd going with the more rocking songs, and tearful with the more moving songs. One of the best concerts I’ve been to, and a great staff at the venue!
These mfs bring the energy! It's everything you hope their live show will be and more. They always pick amazing bands to tour with! I will do everything in my power to see them the next time they grace my city with their presence!
My knees hurt two days after from all the jumping and dancing. So worth it!
Over all she did amazing, the energy was great, and the people for the most part were really nice. Exiting the area was difficult, but that's to be expected. And that's not her fault or anything. ADO, was so much fun to watch and listen to that I'm glad it was my first official concert Iv gone out of my way to watch. 10/10 would go again!
Front Line Assembly, Gary Numan, and Ministry were all in rare form. Great show at a classic Chicago venue. Shout out to the crew as well. Lighting, media, and audio were spot on. The audio mix was particularly phenomenal. If anyone is considering catching any of the remaining dates for this tour, you will not be disappointed.
Hot Mulligan & all the opening acts were incredible. Live nation security were so helpful & friendly. Constantly handing out water & checking on everyone to make sure we were okay during all the moshing & crowd surfing. 10/10 recommend this venue & will continue to see Hot Mulligan every time they’re in town
The venue was really beautiful and unique. Getting out of the venue after the show was a bit nerve-wracking. The first opening band, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, was fun. The second band, White Reaper, was not my cup of heavy metal tea. The lights were blinding and the feedback from the guitars may have caused internal bleeding from my ears.
Lovejoy was, in a word, perfection. My only complaint is that they didn't play a longer show. The lights were amazing. The confetti was glorious. The music was as toe-tapping, beepedy-boop as ever. What can I say? We adored them.
Show was amazing, the venue was packed and sold out. It took her 45 min to come out onto stage but came to realize this had been a trend in some of her other shows on the same tour. Despite waiting a long time the show was fantastic and she sang all my favorite songs. Will def be seeing her again
Motionless in White is on a different level at this point. I believe this was the 11th time I’ve seen them and this show was amazing! Played City Lights! Never have I ever seen that live. Maybe the first time I saw them in 2010, but not since. So amazing. Played music from every album. The set was lit. Lights were crazy. So good
the show was so amazing!!!!!! it was my first concert ever and i’m so grateful to have been there and been able to grow up with melanie. they’re such an amazing person, artist, and singer and i am so eternally grateful for all of the friends and memories i made at the show. <3
The show itself was great. However the sound here is atrocious. Massive reverb washes out all detail to the music. First and last time for me at this venue I think. Also, security check was metal detector only. No pocket rifling or crotch checking like previous people have mentioned for this venue.
Unreal. Truly the most incredible experience. My only complaint is about the venue. It got SO hot in there (sold out 5k venue) and a number of people including myself had moments we thought we would pass out. There needs to be some air movement. Aside from that, Maggie was everything ❤️
Papa Roach killed it per usual with a great hour set and Falling In Reverse also brought the energy during the hour set as well! Hollywood Undead was pretty good during their 50 minutes and Escape The Fate did a rockin' job opening the night with a short but solid 20 minute set.🤘
Besides having to stand outside in the cold for almost 2 hrs and almost lose my toes. I'm handicapped, I have a feeding bag and my son has Autism. I was told to go to front, so we could get in but I was told to stand in line. It took almost 2 hours to get in. I almost didn't make it. But it was worth it! I loved every moment after I got my feeling back in my toes. 🤣😬🙏🏼🥰😇🤪✨️👣🐾🦶🏼🥶🧊☃️❄️ 〰️🎟🎫🎭 love you Omar Thank you
The show itself was phenomenal! Marcus King and his Band are some of the most talented out there, by far. The crowd was completely enthralled the entire show! The venue is beautiful, however it was freezing cold inside. Also, the downstairs staff may have all been new because no one seemed to know what was going on. The bartender didn't know what to charge for most drinks and we ended up paying much more downstairs than we did upstairs? The bathrooms were clean, but paper towel rolls being placed all over the ledges of the sinks doesn't seem the most sanitary. Upstairs bathrooms had a much better upkeep, as it seemed there were people in there cleaning every time I went in there. Overall, it was a great experience. I can't say I would ever be interested in standing all day for a concert, but the upgrade to the balcony was absolutely worth it for an amazing band.
Great performance. High energy! Interpol crushed it with great stage light show and awesome selection. spanning: turn on the bright lights, antics, and yours to adore, as well as a lot of new songs. Closed with slow hands. Tycho was mesmerizing played his hits. a walk, awake a lot of cool guitar backed tracks from Dive. video projection was absolutely bananas.
The show was AMAZING. Charli never fails to keep the energy alive and give the audience an outstanding performance. The opener, Baby Tate, was also great and set up Charli very nicely. I’m looking at future dates to go to the Crash tour again because it was such a wonderful experience.
Friggin Amazing…MIW opened and everyone was surprised by that. They’re by far the biggest of 3 bands so I don’t see why they’d open. Was not a big BVB fan before this show but good god I was blown away. From beginning to end they had insane energy and it carried over to the crowd. Sound quality was amazing….and then I.N.K. happened. They do things I’ve never seen before and will never miss a show they have again. What an amazing experience too to bottom.
Absolutely INSANE.
Typically I’d leave a review just at that, but there was a lot of negativity in the crowd and on Twitter that I wanted to address. Long story short: idk was opening for twenty one pilots and a lot of clikkies thought idk took too long. They started at 7:30 and ended around 8:30 the pilots didn’t come out until 9:00. Its customary for most concerts to have a schedule like this, but that didn’t stop top fans from having full blown conversations and tweeting (during their set!!) about how much they didn’t like idk how. I’d never seen such disrespect for an opening band, but that being said I’ve never been to a show where I was actually into the opening band so maybe backlash like this is typical and I just never hear about it because I’m not in the know on those other bands. Anyways, it really bummed me out to see since they did such a good job last night. Dallon sang a cover of Beck’s Debra and it was mind blowing! He hit every last one of those notes and it was flawless, so I don’t know how anyone could possibly not enjoy that or at least be impressed even if you don’t know the band performing. I’m gonna be honest, I’m biased since the only reason I even went to the concert is to see idk. I saw the tickets go on sale because I got a notification from this app that idk was performing and then when I couldn’t find tickets I found out it was because I was searching for idk how when it was registered under the headliners, twenty one pilots. The show couldn’t have been more perfect for me considering idk is my absolute favorite band and top is my second fave. So maybe I’m projecting a little bit, but even taking my favoritism into account the crowd was acting out of pocket. That makes me sad since the boys really did do an amazing job!!
A plus side to the idk how fans being the minority in the crowd was that Dallon was able to interact with the few of us towards the front a lot. The other time I saw idk how was during their night heat tour (amazing show there too!) but everyone was there to see idkhow so he had more people to interact with. At this show, there were only a few of us there to see idk so he could interact with the few of us more personably if that makes sense. He would point over at me and a few other kids near me when we were singing and say stuff along the lines of “you know this song!” or just point/dance/gesture in our direction. It was an insanely cool experience. Plus they played iggy pop which I never thought I’d ever get to see live so that absolutely SENT ME.
ANYWAYS this is really long, sorry. I just wanted to put some good out into the void of the internet about this performance after seeing so much bullshittery on Twitter. Good job, my dudes. Killed it, per usual. :) hope to see you in 2020!
This amazing band from Canada is single-handedly bringing back rock and roll from the dead. Kudos to Q101 for hopping on the bandwagon early and getting behind them. Their short set at the Aragon was a swift jab to the throat, and the knockout punch came later when they destroyed the Cubby Bear at the after-party. 🇨🇦🎶🤘
