The show was mind blowing & Kehlani performed her heart out! The set was captivating, the band was breath taking, and the dancers were so talented, performing out to the entire audience from the floor to the nosebleed section I know we all felt their energy.
She is such a genuine human and really gave us a once in a lifetime remarkable experience. I will go see her again and again again and she never fails to supersede my expectations.
I cried when she talked about mental health and self care and living your life then did Borderline from WWW2.
Like damn… it’s the EVERYTHING for me!
Myself [Almost 30], My Partner [31] and my mother [Aging like wine!!] All had a f***ing BLAST at this show. We got there a little too late to catch Many Eyes but heard they were incredible, The Interrupters rocked the house as always. Sum 41 was TREMENDOUS, the energy they had on stage was crazy and they never let it die the entire show. Super fun stage and set changes including a massive [inflatable?] Satan that was a mix of campy and just fun. We stayed a little less than 10 minutes after people started filing out and got a secret "final encore" since it was their last night in Portland ;P 11/10 Experience, something I'll never forget.
It was bittersweet as it was my first, and last time seeing them live. Sum 41 means as much to me as Linkin Park, maybe more. I listened to their music a lot to get me through most of the darkest times in my life. Sum came out for a double encore while many of the audience had already left and sang So Long Goodbye to us and I actually cried, which is a fairly big deal for me. They'll never know just how important this show was for me, but it will live on forever in my memory, as will Sum 41. They deserve their rest after 30 years of dedicated great music. Thank you, sum 41, so long, and goodbye. ❤️
Frozen Soul was an awesome opener! I am not a fan of Obituary or Cannibal Corpse so they were okay. Amon Amarth was amazing! They sound amazing live. They had an awesome stage set up and the live performers they had role playing during songs was awesome too! I will definitely see Amon Amarth again.
Decent venue at the Moda Center...with good, but not great acoustics. Suuuuuuuuper expensive and average tasting beer...best to get your pre-funk on at a local bar beforehand. DMK brought some solid energy to the arena that was felt instantly and carried through the entire set. Bassist and lead singer, Ken Casey, did a great job interacting with fans. I will say, the loss of DMK lead singer, Al Barr, had quite an impact, however. Al provides extra depth and texture to the band that I have grown to appreciate.
Absolutely amazing energy, got all the hits in we wanted to hear while keeping it personal and engaging the crowd. This dude may be heavily featured with other artists but remains wildly underrated. We were fortunate to be the kick off for his tour.
Maybe my guy wasn't feeling great, but he was a little low energy. His music is great, but he seemed like he'd rather be somewhere else. Literally did the encore via video in the green room. If he wasn't so talented or would have been a disappointment. That said, I would see him again if he came to Portland.
AAAA BEST DAY OF MY LIFE !!! melanie was amazing! tanukichan was a GREAT opener for mel! the prices might be high, but trust me ITS WORTH IT!! im already getting ready for her to come back next year (as she said) moda center has great seats and honestly, no matter where you sit, you will have a great view of the stage!
Poor thing didn’t have time to drink water between sets so she had some voice cracks but powered through it like crazy
Took all the effort to still wear her prosthetics and dedicate herself to the theme <3 and dance in them too!
Was very sweet and thanked the crowd multiple times & her background dancers
The production was IMMACULATE
I almost cried 💔
So happy that PDX got included in the 3rd leg of this amazing tour & even more stoked when they added Atreyu! All of the bands played great sets & it was an awesome show from beginning to end!
All of the artists were amazing! The only thing I didn't care for was when purchasing the tickets, I wasn't given an option for either pit or vip tickets, and the layout of the venue was pretty misleading. It seemed like I was getting decent seats by avoiding the center because ticketmaster made it seem like the center seats were super far away from the stage. Other than the ticket options and the misleading venue design, the concert was amazing.
All I can say is it Lamb Of God and dam do they put on amazing show with a killer setlist! So glad got to see them on this tour for there new album, also I met them earlier that day a cd store to get the new album signed, what a bunch of great down to earth people!🤘🤘🤘
This was my 7th time seeing ADTR, and I have to admit I was a little nervous that they might play more of their newer lighter stuff than older heavier stuff. I am pumped to report back that they played just about every older heavy song my heart could have desired, and just a handful of the newer stuff! Show was awesome all together. Can't wait for round 8!
Didn't catch Fit for an Autopsy so can't comment. Spiritbox was much better than expected. Kill switch was meh for me. Lamb of God was amazing, great setlist, great lighting and Pyro. A blast to watch, my neck is going to be sore for a few days.
ADTR was awesome. From the start they had the energy going and they kept it going. Good mix of songs everyone grew up with and newer jams. Professionals with a lot of experience being awesome and it shows. Magnolia Park also deserves a shoutout because they opened and had people who do not know them saying “they’re really good!”
The show was spectatular from the opening act Japanese Breakfast to F&TM. Florence is a magnificent preformer. The band is fabulous. The stage & set were great and perfectly suited for F&TM. She did most of the tracks from Dance Fever and many other favorites. Florence had great rapport with the audience. This was my first time seeing them perform, and the experience soidified F&TM as one of my favorite bands. If another opportunity arises to see them perform, I'll be there.
The event was electric and artist Demi Lovato was on fire. The opening band, Dead Sarah, really got the show rocking. Then when Demi came on the crowd was on its feet for the entire performance. Demi Lovato is a seasoned artist who played the audience like one of her instruments. The set was balanced with selections from her newly released CD, “HOLY FUCK” which the audience sang along to , mixed with meaningful sons from her past CD’s
The special effect lights only added to the sensations of the throbbing, pounding musical numbers. It was a party to be enjoyed by one and all.l
I love u Olivia, you did incredible and I can’t even explain how grateful I am that I got to experience the first night of SOUR tour! Last night was the time of my life and I can’t wait until I get to see you live again!!
Great show as always, although I was a little disappointed how much Oli relied on backtracking vocals...there were parts where an entire chorus was backtracked and he made no effort to pretend it wasn't. Still love these dudes though and will always go see them whenever they come through!
This was the first concert I've attended in a very long time. It was everything I hoped for and more! AJR is an incredibly talented and creative group, they definitely put on quite the entertaining show. With fun and relatable songs to sing along to, amazing and interactive visuals and sets, to their intense energy and passion they have as performers, these artist have the whole package and are an absolute joy to see on stage. I most certainly recommend seeing them live and am hoping for an opportunity to attend another one of their shows in the future!
