Zach Williams was amazing and one song w/video brought my wife to tears. MercyMe was very good, as always, and had some great crowd participation numbers during their set. Last but not least, TobyMac and Diverse City didn’t disappoint and put a cap on a great night with their performance.
While I really enjoyed Missy & Ciara performances. I felt Busta was very lack luster. He mostly just stood there & only did about 2 full songs. The rest was just little 30second moments & kept stopping just to talk. I loved in the end when Missy walked through the audience singing Work It! She was amazing!
This was my first time at Rocket Mortgage in many years, and it felt fresh and new. It's a big place, but we found our way around ok with adequate signage. The only issue was that a few ushers were telling people the wrong information (which end the number 1 seat was), and that led to confrontations over seats. Justin Timberlake and his Tennessee Kids put on a FANTASTIC show! It's big, spectacular, and just fantastic! It's almost worth the ridiculously high ticket price.
The concert was GREAT... had VIP Meet and Greet tickets on June 25th... the only problem I have is that I have not received my meet and greet picture with Janet Jackson, I was told I would receive an email with the info within 10 days... and to this day nada.. nothing
It was amazing. Avenged Sevenfold hit the stage in less time than I thought. Sullivan King was an experience. And Poppy was....honestly flat. She was good. But she knew she was just the warm up. But I would see everyone again if I could
The show and all the artists were great! Loved to see the wild all over the place Alt pop/Alt metal fusion that is Poppy! Sullivan King was a fun and somewhat unexpected rave of a time, love the fusion of dubstep with some metal/rock songs like Throne - bmth, We got the moves - EC and MHTATE - A Day to Remember! Should've been listening to them!
Only thing is this was SUCH an unusual lineup that didn't really transition smoothly from one artist to the next.
You got Dubstep/EDM DJ Sullivan King with some rock/metal songs thrown in and he played the guitar some & screamed a bit (wished for more of both). Then some cluster fuck (in a good way imp) of alt pop, nu metal, hyper pop, industrial and some hip hop esque beats with wild vocals and lyrics.
Then Avenged which was the most traditional hard rock/heavy metal band in general, with some heavy moments.
The crowd all around was DEAD for SK & Poppy which is unfortunate cause I liked both (went for Poppy tbh, seen AS 4 x now but there good). They both deserved a better crowd but maybe if on a different lineup. So many people were saying that was a bad lineup or "never heard of Poppy..now I know why... that was rough 😬.
Sucks to see it but I enjoy V.A.N. and the whole show!
That woman can sing and put on a show! She and her supporting cast are Entertainers! I wish I could go again! I never knew she had so many awesome songs! Stop reading this and go!
This was my first large concert experience and the band made it a great one! The set list was great, Josh sounded better live than he ever did on Spotify, and the whole group was so attentive to the entire audience and not just the pit. Guitar riffs were fire, and special effects blew my face off. Light My Love was absolutely beautiful and made me want to cry.
It was awesome I would've preferred to see Queen Latifah, Rakim,Salt n Pepa instead of Jadakiss & The Roots. But otherwise Common,Method Man & L.L. Cool J put on a hell of a show it's tied with the final lap tour far as best rap concerts this year I must say.
This concert was a long time coming for me. Alicia Keys is such a magnificent presence for the hard work she put into building her catalog, her connection with people, her celebrity, and much more. She is a classic performer, an American master of music whose longevity is likely more voluminous than attestible.
Lizzo and her crew were absolutely outstanding. They performed - a real workout bot musically & physically for 2 solid hours. It was fun to experience Lizzo as a flautist, as well as an incredible vocalist. Lizzo is a must see performance.
Sound-flawless. Image-amazing. Feel-wonderful. But...I’d waited 20 years, then 2.5 more years after Coronavirus, to see the greatest band in the history of mankind that I thought would never play again...and Zack came out by being carried. Call me petty, but I was devastated. He is RATM. I was ready to explode with his energy and passion, and I had no clue he messed up his leg 10 days before because I wanted to setlist spoilers etc. If I would’ve known or if they would’ve addressed it at all starting the show, I think it would’ve helped a lot, but I was in shock half the show and just felt robbed and devastated by God. That said, he did all he could setting down, and they were amazing aside from this. Just sad that this should’ve been the greatest show I’ve ever seen.
I was hoping for an incredible RATM show last night in CLE but it wasn’t…it was better. Zack de la Rocha has more energy sitting down than most singers standing! Fantastic set list, visuals, and energy. One of the best shows I have ever seen.
First time seeing Dermot live. The only disappointing thing is that he was on tour with Shawn Mendes (though I was pleasantly surprised by this young heart-throb and the entire arena of precious, screaming 13 year old fangirls). Would have done anything to get an entire show with this incredibly talented human. I spent a good portion of the show, in tears. Completely moved by the way this offering calls forth the depths of ones emotional self and soul. I cannot wait to see Dermot Kennedy again!
The show was pretty good! Not really a big fan of en vogue,Salt and pepper are ok but really could use some new songs to mix in with there old ones,Rick Ashley still sounds pretty good for his age lol,Now onto the reason I came 5 bad brothers from Boston Nkotb they started the show with Block party to get the crowd going It took in my opinion Donnie a little while too warm up to the crowd not to wild right away where Joe seemed to be hype from the start really Giving his all to at least the left side of the stage, Jordan played mostly the center of the stage with a few vist to my section the left side. Johnathan and Danny stay mostly in between the center or back from the crowd at first then start warning up to the different sides, And here why only 4 star and unfortunately I know the guy where thinking of the fan with the adding of B stage but it kind of sucks when you're near the front of the main stage or center section and your short can't see anything on the B stage and have to depend on the big screen to see what going on that stage witch I'm probably going to get a lot of slack for voicing my opinion but I guess they do try to please their fans even if this stage set didn't please me a little but it was a Amazing show besides my little issue, they definitely brought the confetti with them this tour Also would of loved to had heard Boys in the Band song maybe next tour. And maybe throwing a few things shirts or Nkotb teddy bears too the crowd as a gift to remind people of the Amazing evening they had! Till next tour This girl will Still be Loving the 5 bad brother's from the Beantown Land NKOTB FOR LIFE
My first Slipknot show and it was FUCKING AMAZING. It was on my birthday so I got my boyfriend and I VIP and we got to see the band's old replica masks and instruments and jumpsuits in the history of Slipknot exhibit. It was hard for me to see at times since I'm on the shorter side but we loved it. In This Moment's opening was pretty incredible. Corey is an awesome showman and the pyrotechnics and everything were off the damn charts. Took off half a star because we were three ppl away from the very very front and it was super crowded, at some points the crowd tried to push their way to the front and we got totally smushed. The Fieldhouse wouldnt let us take our VIP bag out to the car so it was a little harder to JUMP THE FUCK UP but it was the best night of my life!! Wish I could put more photos on this review!!!
Knotfest was awesome. However the vip access to enter and the vip items booth weren’t advertised well at all. We had no idea where to go to pick up our tote bags and posters for our vip package. Had to ask several people before we found it. Also had no idea where vio entrance was. Just guessed. No signs. And doors opened at 5:30. Us being vip was supposed to have early access to merch but that wasn’t the case. Everyone entered at 5:30 so everyone went to merch lines.
This was my 2nd favorite slipknot concert but 2001 when i 1st seen slipknot with all original members hands down was the best show when the late drummer joey played a drum solo completely upside down lifted in the air
One of (if not the) best concert(s) I’ve ever been to! We traveled from Florida to see him in his hometown of Cleveland, and it was 100% worth it! Incredible, incredible experience!! What a talented artist, but also what an incredible human being. Cannot wait for the next show!
There is no band like TOOL. They combine the technical expertise of the most polished metal bands with the emotional articulation of the angriest, most revolutionary punk bands to create what are sometimes disturbing, often humorous, but always thought-provoking audio and visual experiences.
The set list in Cleveland was a non-stop barrage of face-melting perfection, well-balanced from the band’s 30-year catalogue, and executed flawlessly. I can only hope this band continues to tour and make more music, preferably with much less time between releases.
I highly recommend the VIP Experience if the opportunity is available.
