Only after I earn a few more sober strips on top of my integrity! I saw your marquee in Indy only to turn right around and drive back to Chi Town for Sunmer Camp Buzz! I seem to be adding new Oklahoma musicians to my collection! Just back from Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, I grabbed a ticket to see Samantha Crain who is closely connected to several Okie musicians that I've been following (John Moreland, John Fullbright, Ken Pomeroy). With a calm and soothing stage presence, and just the right amount of stories about song motivation, Samantha was a real treat for The Word Barn Meadow audience.

Longtime fan of Eliza, I was happy to see her opening for Samantha Crain at The Word Barn. Some released tunes, some new tunes to be released soon, and a fresh-from-pen tune were included in their set.

Our first time at the word, Barn, great little space. I think the room sits about 50 people give or take. Folding chairs, they provided cushions which were really helpful. The bar had drinks and a few snacks. We did imbibe on apple cider donuts while we waited for the show. Griffin William Sherry was amazing, as usual. The addition of Zach on the electric guitar wasn’t something I thought we needed, but it most certainly is! A fun night, can’t wait till the next one.

Loved it, pulled off a fantastic show despite the broken bass fiddle. Very fun and entertaining!

Loved the show. This was an outdoor event, and there were a lot of mosquitos so it made it uncomfortable.

Their musical influences are LEGION; all of them lovingly represented and blended together seamlessly! They’re like really well fitted tag-less underwear with edges that don’t bite into the skin.

Cheryl is a very special artist. We have seen her multiple times going back to 1995 and cherish each time we get to see her live. The Word Barn in Exeter, NH was the perfect venue to see her. Don’t miss your chances the next time she is around.

LOVED Ryan! Such an amazing musician and writer. His lyrics touch your heart and soul deep! The venue was awesome. Like the best party ever at a friends house!

Still the same old talented, guitarist/song writer she's always been. Can't go wrong taking in one of her shows. You'll leave satisfied.

Her voice is beautiful, her guitar work is solid. I bought her latest CD and listened to it on the way home! I'll be back for her concerts the next time she is in the area.

Great show! Love this band, they even hung around afterwards and met with fans, just like a VIP experience. See this band before they blow up big on the roots/bluegrass scene so you can tell your friends you saw them back in 2023!

The Word Barn is an intimate, romantic venue with indoor and outdoor music shows and literary readings. Mick Flannery and Susan O’Neill played together brilliantly. It was emotionally evocative show where they played a feuding couple. The combination of Flannery’s deep voice and piano with Orlean’s expert vocals, guitar, harmonica, (and trumpet!) playing left me feeling grateful for being able to see this Irish duo in such a small venue.
