Kayko was amazing! He certainly has a lot of energy and it definitely shows in his performance. Loved the song he performed with Kaibrienne! Judy Schoenfeld
Kaibrienne was phenomenal! Her songs and vocals are amazing! Would have loved if she sang more songs. Hoping she will come back to perform again soon! The best show!♥️
Judy Schoenfeld
Justa kick ass time !! Good bar menu...nice staff. The band is amazing and pays a spot on homage to early Van Halen. The band is humble but amazing showman. Ive seen plenty of VH Tribute bands and this is among the best. If they are close...make that trip. Trust me.
If you missed out, I feel bad for you. Everyone who performed put on an amazing performance. If you can catch them at later shows, I highly recommend you do.
KRS-One is Awesome! He opened with all his most well known songs and then said that was just The Intro and then Freestyled a lot. The Teacha! 🎤
Define “stage presence”, and whatever you come up with, it won’t compare to what Carnifex had. The lineup was stacked to hell, and it sure as shit lived up to it.
FANTASTIC Show and a great venue!
The pre-opening act, Tragedy, was more fun than I had expected, and they did a great job of getting everyone pumped up. Then Psychostick opened with Obey the Beard! It's crazy how talented these guys are - their live performance was spot-on note-for-note, their timing was impeccable, and well, they are just FUN! Sound mixing was excellent too - everything came through clear and loud without getting muddy.
The WC Social Club is small enough to get up close and personal, but large enough to have room to move around. Staff was attentive and friendly, and did a great job making sure everyone had an enjoyable evening! This was my first visit to the venue, but won't be my last!
Definitely worth the METRA ride out of the city and 2 mile hike to the venue. Interesting mix of metal and heavier hardcore. Got to mix it up w the local Chicago acts and talk w Convictions members for a bit. Got my New Testament signed by Michael and pulled my glute spinkicking my demons in the pit. Venue had reasonably priced food and drink. FYI Last train to the city is at 10:45 pm so I ubered back downtown. A little out of the way but wouldn’t have missed this for the world. Glad I attended and got some fire merch and fire footage. Crucify me upside down !!
A finally got to meet Raven Black after three years of waiting, and I was NOT disappointed! It was by far the best concert I have ever attended in my 58 years. I had VIP pass from Raven and got to see all around the club, backstage, green room etc., meet the other bands, too. It was an amazing experience!
The club was awesome - a great place to see a show! A good amount of floor space for SRO, but you can get right up to the stage. VIP seating was comfortable, there were tables in the back to chat, visit, and chill. The bartender was awesome and very reasonable prices. The food was good too.
I can't say enough about the Bands that night! Raven Black was absolutely incredible! As a proud member of the Rejects, I expected nothing less. They totally deserve to be playing much larger shows! They TOTALLY killed it! Living Dead Girl was energetic and extremely entertaining. Loved 'em, an Molly is great out front. Owls and Aliens was a great surprise. I had heard their new CD a few times, but they REALLY rock hard live. A very bright future!
The two local add on opener's were a pleasant surprise, and extremely enjoyable - the really fit the bill. Bachelors Grove was full of energy and could also do extremely well, given the fan support (bought their CD , too). The Illogical are just a ball of fun.
What was really a blast was that the bands were watching one another's sets from the floor. They were wandering around the club all night. Totally approachable and just having fun as fans themselves! Really an amazing night. It's unfortunate the crowd wasn't bigger, but it was a Thursday night. The crowd that did show up were treated to a fantastic night!
I got home and found I had taken nearly 400 pictures that night! Thank goodness we no longer use film! (OOPS, I think my age is showing). ❤️🤟🤘
This was an awesome night of great music and we even met the band after. They were as high energy as ever. Loved it!
I had never heard this band before last night, and now I'm Hooked!! Mind blown at how powerful Nikki's voice is, and her energy is off the charts!! You can tell she was born to be a front woman, Love this band!! Your newest fan!!
Wish the singer in until I wake would singer better there band has so much potential but I couldn't believe he was scream singing ten times better than he was singing so much dedication and effort for the lyrics sucked that they cut there first song off
Been a JC fan for a long time and his performance in chicago at the Social club was by far the best performance of any musician I have seen. Every bit of his heart was in the music. His voice is even better in person, i have absolutely nothing bad to say about anypart of the show. He played most of all his current album and even played a few oldies! On top of that, he made every effort to thank his fans and show his gratitude for their support. Just a phenomenal concert. Highly recommend, especially if your a fan
The performances were awesome! Highly recommend checking out all the bands involved.
(St. October, Bachelor's Grove, The Illogical, and No Shelter).
I was insanely excited to hear songs from both Murderdolls albums, a tribute to Joey, and a crowd of people all screaming I Love To Say F*** together. Been a fan of Wednesday since Frankenstein Drag queens and Every time I see him and his bands perform, it's like the first time.
My one issue is that I bought the VIP seating and Meet and Greet, which meant early access into the doors. They changed it last minute to after the show, (I'm not sure why, but I'm sure it's understandable) but changing it meant that instead of being able to really check out the merch tables beforehand, a lot of things were sold out and it made you feel rushed. It isn't that big of a deal but was hoping to be able to get a good look at everything offered.
One band was sold out of all merch before I found them. (Good for them! Lol)
The club itself was awesome, and the bartenders and food staff were on it 100%. The door man was strict in his position, the perfect person you want at the front of events like this. (stopping people, thoroughly explaining procedures of the venue, and even checking the parking lot for any on property illegal stuff that could hurt the venue. 👏👏👏
Truly a great show! I just wish there were more people there for them. But they really are the Greatest Rock and Roll band in the world!!!🤘
Blaze always delivers, but this show was my favorite show ever because of the Meet and Greet. Blaze and King Klick treated us so well, we had so much fun and they went above and beyond. Thank you to Blaze and King Klick for meeting us, greeting us and just being freakin' awesome! Never thought I would drink a Corona with Blaze ya Dead Homie- made my life!!
Absolutely dope show. Pit was awesome. Music was filthy. Got a black eye and a split eyebrow. Every band had high energy. Venue was a bit smaller than the huge shows I’m used to, but this made it more intimate and sound was clean and crisp. Do not miss this show if they’re in your town.
so fantastic. they came down and talked to everyone. the music was loud, perfect! it was one of the greatest ones I've been to In a long time.
Nice establishment people were nice as well as the staff it's just a little far away way west in West Chicago from were I live
CombiChrist put on great playing so of my favorite past releases
I have to say it was great.First time seen the Genitorturers Live in concert was mind-blowing amazing can't wait to see them again they are the best. Meet the band afterwords .
