The show was amazing. However all 3 food vendors ran out of water and actual any drink. No soda. Nothing. It was 90 degrees so we left early because we were dehydrated.
The show started at 7. 2 warm up bands with at least 30 min between set ups didn't get zach on until after 9. Getting there at 6pm in 90 degree heat was tough. If we had known they had 2 hrs of warm up we would have come later. The bands were amazing we were just dehydrated and had to leave early. Free water should be available. In florida. They wouldn't let us bring in a water bottle or we could have filled it at a water fountain. But not putting my.mouth on. Public fountain
either. Maybe something to think of for next concerts.
Went to concert not knowing what to expect, found a fun and engaged crowd. People sang along through out and knew every word. I sat in the front row with folks dancing in the aisles right next to me. What a blast! I also appreciated that he supports our veterans and has for a long time. At the end of his concert Travis walked towards where I was sitting and gave me the guitar pick he used during the concert!! Totally unexpected - How cool! Thanks Travis. God bless you and yours. 🫡
It was so hot loved all the musicians but couldn’t see anyone and didn’t even check out tickets. So I could have just walked in..
Yes, it was an excellent concert. The war hippies were excellent as well. Sound was beautifully clear. The evening was nice and clear as well.I am a lead singer and guitarist was actually a very, very good night out.
DH awesome. However quite a big kurfunkle with venue. Gates open and 1st band went on at Ssame time. Line wrapped around trying to get in to venue to see 1st act.
They should allow entry to begin 20-30 minutes before the opening act starts. I missed some of Little Stranger's set despite being close to the beginning of the line, which is the main reason I wanted to attend this concert. You can hear them start before the gates even open and it's not fair to the ticket holders or to the band Little Stranger.
Fantastic show with very high energy! I wish one of the VIP bathrooms was actually cold though, it was incredibly hot, even with the AC running.
Gates opened at 5 pm.
The first band was on at 5pm sharp.
There were only 2 entry points to gain access to the venue.
It took over 1 hour to get through the gate to see any artists.
The stage is so low that you can barely see the band unless you are in the seats.
Music was excellent, and everyone sounded amazing.
The concert was brilliant. Fortunate youth is a fun opening band. Michael franti (which actually sat out in the audience and watched the opening band for 20 minutes) was absolutely incredible.
The band was excellent. The venue pretty much left you on your own when trying to park your car. Not one person directing traffic. I’d never been here b4. I doubt I’d return here. I’d go see Stick Figures again tomorrow. They kick ass.
Amazing as usual, great venue. Just wish it was dark out for the lights. They have the best sound guys, phenomenal musicians. Love the horns
Another outstanding performance from the Mule. My first time seeing Old Crow Medicine Show and thoroughly enjoyed them as well. Hopefully they will have many more bands play at this location. Great venue. Only complaint is they only had one food vendor.
Excellent performance: but not a Excellent show. This was a twin bill al8ng with Old Crow Medicine Show. For some reason they had the Mule play 1st. So the ambience was laking, being a outside venue. Warren kept it a pretty mellow set. Judging from the line, and inventory at the Merchandise table The Mule was the more popular of the two. Old Crow Medicine Show was new to me, and they put on a very good stage show, but song quality can't even come close to the Mule.
There was only one food concession tent, it was BBQ, quality was good to very good, but the coice was 1 meat (pulled pork. Beef brisket, spare ribs. Chicken breast, or smoked sausage,) and one side fries or rice. 20 bucks a plate, also the line was 45 minutes to 1 gour long.
Not sure I'll let go to another show at this venue, or one produced by Dueterman productions
Gov’t Mule and old Crow Medicine show different as night and day but also complemented each other perfectly
Warren Haynes is the best blues guitarist .
Mule is an amazing group of artist who are in a league of their own .
Old Crow high energy country folk high stepping very entertaining loved the contrast awesome
The Apopka Amphitheater no chair policy for general admission is wrong. Their policy only allows a persone to bring a blacket to sit on with moist ground. Many folks were disappointed.
Beautiful venue. Great food from the food truck, nice change to dance in the rain again. Hector "roots" Lewis did a great job on lead vocals. Stevie holds a special place in my heart so I was happy to see and hear the new lead singer had the talent to hold the bar to the level Stevie raised it.
1 hr rain delay but concert did go on and the communication surrounding the weather was very good. I thought they did a good job of safely moving people out and quickly moving them back in when the weather delay was over.
The food omg the food. I dont remember the complete name of the food truck hut they served southern bbq. I was thrilled to see Bahamian conch on the menu but they didnt have it for obvious reasons. Our group had the bbq chicken, jerk chicken, and brisket...all was delicious and came with rice. Rice was good.
I had seen artikal sound briefly at another event but was coming in at the end so didnt get to see much. This time i was able to see more of their show and it was good. Great opener.
Soja and dirty heads of course did not disappoint!
The show was incredible, Dirty Heads never disappoints! I did not like the venue though. If your ticket was for the lawn you weren't able to see the stage unless you were on the directly on the fence. The sound was also bad from the lawn. I could barely understand what the singers were saying and the music was just way too quiet. Fortunately we were able to get into the VIP seating and the energy was entirely different there.
Entertaining show. Sucks the weather had to delay it a bit but totally understandable. Worst part was lack of food options. Only one location created a huge line that made it not worth missing the show to wait in. Overall the location was amazing, parking was easy, lack of food options for the event sucked but the performances themselves were of course fantastic.
The bands were great. I would love to see more of these types of shows. The music was amazing and the vibe was on point. Though would have liked to see more time for each of the openers. The venue on the other hand was not. It seemed like they were not prepared for a crowd of that size. There was only one food vendor and constantly had a line of 50 people or more. The bars were not crowded at all, which was good, but the beverage selection was lackluster at best. No domestic beer (only craft and import), and prices were a joke. It was $9 for a 12oz Corona. I had 2. Then $15 for an unmeasured double mixed drink was also terrible. There was no consistency between bartenders and all poured differently. So it was a gross beer, poorly mixed drink, or White Claw (also awful), or over-priced (Liquid Death) water. If there was anything else to drink, it was not advertised. Merch tent line was also overcrowded but I only buy merch from a show that I enjoy. This one was not so much. I get the shut down for lightning but I feel that this one was not warranted. It was far away. I guess my only gripe is the lack of options at the bar and lack of options for food. Everything else was great. Keep improving this type of shows.
I didn't Go. I intended to go, however they selected the Hottest, Stormiest location in Florida! Next time- play in Cocoa- by the water!
