What an amazing night The Cult in Brisbane.
Ian said Aussies are always lit up they came to play. And play they did! Ian’s voice is like a good wine that gets better with age.
So much energy to give and share with his playful steps across the stage. A drummer that is so intense he goes into battle with every stroke. A Bass player that creates a basement of sound to rebound offf and Billie - well one of the amazing balls of fire and energy that deliver a sound like no other.
Impressed to say the least.
Cannot wait til they return.
Can you imagine that vibe at the Opera House??
Holy Crap!
Always a brilliant show by these legends. Great songs, great show. So many songs to choose from, hard to fit all the favourites, but they played great songs. No more ladies on the stage for "Kiss me.." but I guess pandemics have put a stop to that. Fortitude Valley Music Hall is a great venue - & surrounded by pubs!! Doesn't get much better.
Hopefully we'll see the mighty Murphys again before another decade passes.
Was magical. The longest concert I've been to, I'm impressed with Xavier's passion to play music and staying with us till the end and beyond!
One thing tho, the merch Tee shirt selection for men / unisex could be better. For example having other colours like Dark Green or dark brown wld be good.
I'd say black too but it's not really nature oriented
I flew down from Townsville to Brisbane for this concert and stayed with my sister. Brisbane has been having a lot of storms, and we drove to the concert in a severe thunder storm! It was worth it though and we really enjoyed Boyce Avenue. I listen to them a lot on YouTube, and to actually see them live was an amazing experience. It was a great atmosphere and a full house as well with thousands of people there. They didn't disappoint and we were entertained the whole night. I would do it all over again if I had to, as they were really good 👍
The concert that was held on Wednesday night at fortitude valley music hall was amazing. The concerts I have attended and the repore they have with the communities it is well known that this band performs concerts to a high standard.
This starts with a set list that accommodates music for all types of fans, to the arrangments of who sings what song.
Boyce avenues communication skills with the audience has always led them to having a large audience sing songs with them throughout the night. If you ever get the chance to meet them you will see they are well-mannered and genuine men who love playing music. They care about their fans and enjoy getting to know them when the opportunity presents itself. Hopefully, it will not be too long in the distant future before they return to Australia
Stand Atlantic and their supporting acts Sly Withers and Vana put on an amazing performance. Stand Atlantic are one of Australia's best young live bands. I never miss them if they are gigging near me. The performance at the Fortitude Valley Music Hall was energetic with amazing music.and astounding pole dancers. It was a fantastic experience.
Stand Atlantic delivered an incredible live performance, packed with energy and a fantastic atmosphere. The band seamlessly mixed old favorites with new tracks, pleasing everyone in the crowd. The audio quality was excellent, making every note and lyric crystal clear. The lively crowd fed off the band's infectious energy, creating a truly memorable experience. The only downside? Wishing they’d come back more often—this is a band you don't want to miss live.
Spiderbait are brilliant live and almost 30yrs on from my first concert experience with them they were amazing. At one point Kram was singing while playing the drums, guitar and another instrument (won’t spoil anything)
Fortitude music hall is always a great venue as well
been to SO many concerts but this one is DEFINITELY going on my top 5 I had VIP and was second row in the middle and she red my sign “rock paper scissor for a guitar pick” but she didn’t do it but it’s ok because she crowned surf on me and I was holding her up!! The light show was amazing!! Ahh wanna go back if 2021 me knew I’d touch Marie she would not have believed me!! She looked at me SO MUCH 🤭
Best show I have ever been to - amazing voice. Went both nights and slightly different but equally great. Sound engineer did an amazing job. Great venue, artist and supporting staff.
Only wish I could get hold of a recording somehow. Unforgettable.
Every time that I see Simple Plan they get better and better. This show was no exception. Definitely highly recommend going to the next one. And if you can afford the VIP, do it. The guys are just so down to Earth and love their fans.
This was their last show on the tour and it was fantastic! So much energy and a great mix of the old with the new stuff.
Living Colour as support just blew my mind - so amazing those guys and loved it when they did the Led Zep collab with Extreme as the last song in the encore.
The venue was great, the sound, lights and staging didn't let anyone down. The digital backdrops looked awesome.
Well worth the wait to see both these bands and just a massive bonus to see them on the same bill.
Had the best night, being originally from England and moving to Melbourne for a couple of years I was a little sceptical about how this night would go! Turns out my OGs were there, I am 39 years old and it was almost like the 90s! Had my whistle on! ShortRound was banging also!
Love Denzel! Was so stoked when I first saw he had released tickets! Had so much energy, and really knew how to interact with the crowd. He gave it his all for a massive set.
Even when one of the under-age attendees threw something at him on-stage (Waa an all ages event) he called them out in a fun way without ruining the vibe.
Was a bucket list gig I am super happy I made it
Was a great performance, sung there most popular songs.
Downfall was the wait for main act was absolutely ridiculous, maybe not there fault but didn't get on stage till after 9pm & I like the Music Hall but was a small venue for this band, was overly packed & a hot box... Riverstage would have been a better venue.
Took my 2 daughters to the gig and it was top notch as usual. I've taken my kids to see Ball Park Music 3 times and they absolutely love it!!! They are our favourite and the tightest band getting around, can not recommend a Ball Park show enough!!!
This was the first time I have seen Dermot live and loved every minute of his performance . His powerful and soulful voice held the audience right from the start. I feel so privileged to have seen him on the first leg of his long-overdue Australian tour. Melbourne and Sydney get ready to have your socks knocked off!
This is a late “rEvIeW” but it was honestly the most insane event I have ever attended. Everyone went crazy in the audience! After the concert I couldn’t speak for 3 whole days, haha! Anyway, hope ya’ll are enjoying your break, lots of love x
Please allow Limelight packages into hall first and separately from VIP packages.
Opening the doors and telling people to walk don’t run was ridiculous and unsafe. Scan tickets individually and stop the riot heading for the barrier!
The concert was amazing, special mention to Security guy in white shirt looking after the fans with sunscreen and being so helpful!
Please return soon Why Don’t We!
IT WAS AMAZING, THE BOYS WERE GREAT (like always) AND IT WAS SO MICH FUN. the only thing that wasn’t so great was that GA got let in so late and how uncomfortable mosh pit was. overall, it was an amazing experience and i’m DEFINITELY seeing Why Don’t We again.
