Fanatics Pub Owner, Jim, started the business to provide an entertainment venue focused on The Blues that also serves great food.

“I graduated from HFL High School and that’s why I care so much about this community… Lima is like my second home. I had run a successful pizza business for many years, so when the building at the crossroads of Lima became available I jumped at the chance to get into a full service restaurant and bar. I wanted to provide the community with an exciting place to enjoy live music and now, 11 years later, we’re holding more than 100 shows a year! We’ve had Grammy Award winners, Blues Music Award winners… they stop here during the week when travelling between large events in the cities around us. This has just become such a passion of mine, I’m booking acts now at the Riveria in Geneseo as well. I focus on blues and bring some of the best acts from all over the country to our little corner of Western New York. A comfortable atmosphere, good food, and good music… that’s what we’re all about!” —- Jim Shelly

Fanatics Pub is also committed to supporting local causes. We sponsor two local softball teams, and also share proceeds from our annual Summer Blues Festival with Camp Good Days, which provides summer camping experiences for children, adults, and families whose lives have been affected by cancer and other life challenges.

“Walking in, we were greeted with a warm friendly smile from Tara our bartender. She was efficient, knowledgeable and attentive. After spending only a few hours here, it was evident that this is the kind of establishment that makes everyone feel welcome. Regulars were greeted by name and everyone entering was happy to spend a few hours enjoying some refreshing pints, delicious food and the company of people who very much felt like that were at a home away from home. Big screen tvs were available to watch games along with quick draw for those looking to gamble a bit!
