Great! Loved every minute! The music was fantastic and the stories just as good.

Aloha. Makana's guitar skills & precision plus his voice transcend my emotions to an interesting, unique, and special place that not many musicians can. I sat in my seat C3 at Kahilu Theatre experiencing joy, tears, laughter, comfort, heartfelt, and amazed for the entire show. I was so glad Makana took his time to meet us after the show and I was able to let him know just how I felt, I sincerely felt his warm welcome and genuine kindness with a big hug that I was grateful for! It's my third Makana show and all of them have been uniquely different, all enjoyable and amazing! He had mentioned during the show that he has been taking vocal lessons and said "He truly feels like it's just a beginning for his musical journey." I truly believe that! I just got a chicken skin! Great way to honor the album.

Incredible show, fabulous artist. It's a shame that the staff didn't remove the drunk patron who was heckling throughout the show. I hope the Blue Note has her back next year.
