Rufus is always brilliant. He played guitar and piano and his vocals were strong, resonant and on point as ever. Sparkling stage personality. Only half star off is for forgetting/bungling a few lyrics. It's part of a charming imperfection. His "over the rainbow" was out of this world fantastic! I loved the orchestral arrangements, too. Great mix of old faves, new songs and covers. He sang in at least 3 languages. Appreciate the 2 Leonard Cohen covers. Bravo, Rufus!

This was one of the most amazing shows I've seen. Bruce is such a pure spirit with a singular approach to music that has no parallel. It's entering the Bruce Universe, which is such a soulful place to be.
I first saw Bruce at Massey Hall in 1977 and he was playing an acoustic song and the PA system shorted out. Without missing a beat he played without amplification, and his delicate fingerwork and voice carried throughout the hall, everyone holding their breath not to make a sound to interfere. When the sound came back on during the same song, the crowd gave him a standing ovation. This was as moving a night as that, with much more range and wisdom. Magic.
