Melno Cepurīšu Balerija

The club Melno Cepurīšu Balerija was established in the city of Jelgava in May, 2010. At that point it was more a fusion between a bar and a gallery with an orientation towards alternative music and culture. As time passed, the club became a place for regular gigs and live shows for local and foreign bands of a large range of musical genres and various audiences including Punk, Reggae, Progressive Rock, Hip Hop and Extreme Metal. Bands such as Saber Tiger (JAP), Conan (GB), Khroma (FIN), Rosetta (USA) are only a few to mention in an extensive list of bands and artists from the Baltic region, Europe, Asia, America and Australia. In November, 2017 the club moved to a new, more spacious location with free wi-fi and a parking lot. The club now can accommodate up to 500 people to rock on 530 square meters on the 1st floor and 125 square meters on the second.

A few years ago the club launched a restaurant to offer it’s customers tasty food (including vegetarian dishes) and it quickly became popular in the city and beyond.
