What a blast in FRONT ROW with my sister! He is an amazing rock star! So energetic and engaging. Keep on living the dream Rick! Seeing him again at Rivers casino this Friday - can't wait! Hope you and your band keep entertaining the fans for years to come!
I am thankful that I had the opportunity to see one of my all-time favorites in concert. Hopefully next time the guys will perform 2 of the incredible songs not performed this show: Whiskey Drinkin’ Woman and Woke Up This Morning!

Robert Cray was fabulous! I don’t know why the site only gives 4.5 stars as highest score. He and band were a 5+ stars. Robert’s voice is just as I remembered from concerts long ago but his guitar licks had improved significantly. It was all about tone and beauty in his guitar playing with no shredding. Wow! I would go see Robert over and over again!
Jo Dee started her concert at 8:05 PM and from the first note, we knew we were in for a treat. She and her tight band started off with some newer songs I wasn't totally familiar with. But then the hits like "I'm Alright", My Give a Dam's Busted", "Heads Carolina Tails California" , "Burn", just kept coming and Jo Dee loves for the crowd to sing her songs back to her. This was fine with me and everyone in the audience, especially the ladies! When she did "Lessons in Leaving" the ladies took over and Jo Dee loved it!
it was a great show. So glad I was able to finally see her in concert because I don't remember her playing this close to Louisville in several years. Hope she comes back!!
Jo Dee is an amazing artist! I have been a fan for 27 years and my 9 yr old daughter absolutely loves her. I would definitely recommend attending one of her shows if you get a chance.
I missed his last show in Indy and this show did not disappoint! He is so incredibly talented and the band was great! If only he could headline and then I could hear all the other great songs live.
Ace is still rocking at his 72, even though his body movements are slow and make him hard play guitar and sing at the same time, the show is pure Rock and Roll. No playback, no supporting tracks, pure feeling!!
If this is the last time they come to Brown County, they left us with an incredible memory. They have been singing together for 50 years and yet the show was a solid 2 hours. They sounded as great as ever. The venue itself was very nice. However, management of traffic in the parking lot was dreadful. They did not plot out enough handicapped parking spaces for what they should have known would be an older crowd. The Oaks have come to Nashville since the mid 70's. I have been to most of those shows and have watched their audience age into their 60's, 70's, and 80's. This venue should have known that and prepared accordingly. They also did not have enough parking for those who had not pre-paid. The attendants did not seem to know where to send people. The show was delayed about 10 minutes because of that. Then there are the purse size restrictions, which are ridiculous and discriminatory. I don't have to leave anything in the car but my wife and mother had to? Nonsense. Thankfully my 75 year old mother who has significant health challenges did not have an issue as she had to leave all of her medications in the car. My wife, daughter, and I are coming for another concert in December. After that, we will not be back.
They were awesome! Very entertaining and the sound was great. They played most of their hits. Just wish they would have played more of them. They were only on for and hour and 15 minutes before the other band came on.
Awesome show! The young lady that warmed up for him, Zandi Holup was very good as well, but the sound guys appeared unconcerned about how overmodulated she was—maybe they were aiming for distortion, if so—mission accomplished.
Steve, on the other hand was great! Very entertaining, played some of my faves and of course copperhead road, which my wife loves, but he has LOTS of music that’s way better. My Old Friend the Blues, Billy Austin, Jonathan’s Song, among others. If Steve ventures near here again, we are so there dude!
The show was fantastic -- best live performance we've seen here in years. I'd never been to this particular venue before. It's wonderful. Great sight lines, a rather intimate setting, really good sound. It's a gem in Indiana. It was a genuine thrill to see both Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe. Absolutely loved it!
Excellent show! KWS seems to command the guitar to do exactly what he intends! All of the other members are equally adept at their roles. They work together flawlessly. I'm so glad I went!
Ally Venable opened, which was a great surprise.
I wanted so bad for this to be a great concert. Most of the attendees did not get out of their seats for most of the show. So many songs they could have played, and they did not. Too much newer stuff. Might be best for them to stick to opening for other acts. I know they have their (cult) followers. I get that, those were the ones on their feet most of the show.
I would go to that same concert a million times over because it was so good! Also, JD Clayton and his band were so nice! I would go see them again in concert too. Highly recommended show for anyone. And don't forget, "Every kiss begins with J." ♥♥♥
The show was awesome, as usual, as Jakob Dylan is one outstanding performer, and has a great band. They did a lot of their old stuff. Didn't do my two favorites: Sleepwalker and Confessions of a Drunken Marionette, but the show more than made up for it. Not one, but two encores. The venue was really nice, but sat in a row where people kept getting up and coming back. There were a couple that that is all they did all night. That was the only bad part of the night. I though people went to see a concert, went to sit and enjoy the show. These people were there to drink and pee. I thought that is what bars were for. Loved the show, but not impressed with the venue.
The venue is great. Jeff beck, bassist Rhonda Smith, and drummer Anika Nills were phenominal. Johnny Depp added nothing. He should not be interrupting a legend of the musical world. The young ladies liked Depp, though.
Enjoyed the format. Mainlay an acoustic event with a couple of pianos.Musicians were awesome Pam & Lori Played there classics with some really good new music . Paid tributes to the legends. Some great and funny story telling. Really a good show
Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen Grahamin every possible combination over 50 years, his performances always give the audience the feeling of a musical journey worth taking. You always leave feeling like your life was enriched.
First, Brown County Music Center is a great venue. Excellent sound and good views of the stage. Graham did a great job covering his music. He added Beatle music, covered 2 Stills songs, at least one Young song. Very good band accompanying him on keyboards and guitar plus vocals.
The Mavericks are an amazing 9-piece rockin' band. Great show! Man, that voice!
Wish Lizzy had been a backup voice. Wish they'd have played more songs from the En Espanol album. Please show bits of the La Sitiera video while playing it.
Sound was a bit off (echoey) -- may be the acoustics of the venue. Wish everyone would keep their masks on. Very pleasant and welcoming staff at the venue.
Overall, would do this again -- many times.
