Blown away. The energy and talent of Ibrahim Maalouf and his musicians was only matched by the fabulous sound and lighting effects in the recently renovated Hollywood theatre. This is a really big show and could have filled an arena. The intimate setting allowed Ibrahim to really connect with his audience. The performance crossed many genres of music so expect a little of everthing.
Super fun show, drummer especially went fucking crazy. Was kinda surreal they didn’t even speak to the crowd once except a “thank you” at the end and I feel like normally I would’ve hated that but somehow it was dope asf just straight vibes all nite
Lagwagon was absolutely amazing. Joey seems a bit tired, but he still gave a great show.
Venue is far away from transit and not ideal for anyone not in Kits or UBC area, would prefer the Rickshaw or another downtown venue.
The sound at this particular venue is a bit muddy, vocals for all bands were a bit too quiet, but that being said Lagwagon always puts on a great show and is always worth the time and effort to go see live. Thank you for coming back to Vancouver!
i’ve been to quite a few concerts and this was BY FAR the best one. i can’t explain how supportive and warm the atmosphere was. so much love in the building! it felt like a really nice, safe hug and the music was incredible. the openers were so sweet and talented, the support band was SO crazy good and leith was beyond wonderful ofc :-)
This was my second time seeing the band and they did not disappoint. The musicianship is beyond belief and ever song just carries you away. An amazing band.
Great vibe in a cool small venue. Defs go again. A Roper show is always a high energy good time. Starting to get to know the Hollywood as a venue
The Hollywood Theatre was a fabulous venue, the opening band - ‘The Bankes Brothers’ were great and Jesse Roper, well, he’s like an elixir that heals all your wounds! He’s an incredible musician and insightful lyricist who is totally engaged with his audience, and never disappoints!
Leroy from the North is the best man I’ve ever seen live. Absolutely inspirational on a guitar. I’m still in awe of this dude. Nikki is just a absolute goddess and gave me a night I will never forget. 10/10 I’d rather die than miss either of their next shows. Love you Leroy and Nikki!
Oh my. What a talent! And the band. Funny, engaging and great choice of opening act. Wish I would have gone to the first show…we would have come back for the second. The finale- had everyone on their feet wanting more. Thank you.
Matt Anderson has a great band backing him... they were all awesome at the Hollywood Theatre. And... they ROCKED!!! This was my first time at the venue, I loved it. I loved the second level up, the level where the bars are...dance floor right there. Love being able to dance!! I also liked that they had lots of bathrooms. I didn't have to stand in line once...all night. Great show, bring Matt back to the Hollywood!!!
Great show from Chase The Bear. The venue had great sound and the crowd was super in to it.

Incredible show! Beth Orton was her usually extraordinary self, the music was overwhelmingly beautiful and unique, and the back up musicians were all fabulous.
The Hollywood is a great venue for these types of concerts ... Intimate, with lovely sound ... And popcorn!
The show was awesome, JJ was great, the VIP experience was worth every dime, Billy Raffoul did a great job of stoking up crowd with his opening performance
Warpaint is an incredible band. What an absolute pleasure to get to experience a band of their calibre playing in such a small eclectic venue. I had been waiting for the opportunity to see my favourite band live forever— it was beyond magical. Thank you, Warpaint for being so beautifully empowering and inspiring. ✨🖤✨
One of the best concerts I’ve been to, and one of my favourite stars concerts! The energy in the Hollywood theatre was amazing. The band, the audience, everyone was electric. We loved the new songs and sang along to our old favourites.
Dijon was insane. The crowd was great too
The only drawback was that I think he arrived late and left earlier than he should’ve. We all thought it was short and wanted to enjoy more.
Was great to see Matt return to touring. Saw his last concert, with his band, in Toronto before the lockdowns, and wasn’t going to miss this show. Worth every second of the wait - terrific set list, lots of banter with the crowd, and fantastic performance, despite his claims of being “rusty”. Matt - thanks for a terrific show. Hope you’ll come further oot east to Toronto.
Without a doubt, one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever witnessed, and probably ever will! What an iconic voice, and such a tight band. I feel so lucky to have caught her at such a small venue!
We’ll be talking about her for decades to come. The Hollywood is a gorgeous little recently revamped venue, too. First time there, and first time seeing her play! Can’t wait to catch Sierra the next time she’s in town, and every time after that! ❤️ Unreal experience.
It was amazing. K. Flay is an incredible performer and her energy electrifies and soothes the soul. If you ever get the chance to go see her, she is a must!
