Absolutely brilliant, saw them about six weeks ago at queens hall in Nuneaton so had to go a second time around, if you turned around you could of heard the original Rush.
The great intimate venue that was air conditioned!! Trust me that was a must given the heat!! 2 gigs and you could feel
The energy from the group seep into the crowd! They looked like they were having a blast and we were ! If you are a rush fan you will love these guys. 2 support acts who were both brilliant too .
Excellent venue to watch live bands and Atticus Chimps were superb, first time playing in the UK on this tour and I am sure it will not be the last time, if you like bands like Royal Blood, Silverchair, Blood red Shoes, White stripes this 2 piece band is worthy to be named with the above bands, this Australian duo are absolutely great do yourselves a favour catch them live when you can.
Second time I’ve seen them and they were fabulous again. They seemed to be pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the audiences. Hopefully they will be back soon
What an absolutely fabulous concert! From the superb opening act of Hollie Rogers through to the end of a superb set from Brave Rival this was a beyond first class event in a very intimate venue. Both acts and the venue are unreservedly recommended.
Rosie is really an amazing talent and I hope she goes on to get the notice that she deserves. Her songs are unique and her musicianship is quite incredible.
The gig was great, it was so good to see her performing the music live. Her band is so talented too!
Thanks for a great evening, lovely venue too!
Great fun and perfect venue - great sound and close your eyes and you are back watching the pogoes of a bit less chaotic than I remember (and that’s just me). Sing along versions to dirty old town was my highlight and the man you don’t meet every day. Will definitely come along again.
Fabulous band and venue, fantastic night had by all, Cloudbusting were superb as usual, keeping Kate’s music alive - thanks guys, can’t wait to see you again!
Great night , lovely intimate venue. Fantastic atmosphere and the performance by China Crisis was memorable , a marvellous way to enjoy a live music event with great beer on tap too 👍
I was taken back to the eighties - With classics by a great Liverpudlian band .
Will definitely be returning to the venue 👍
Excellent concert. The band are first class musicians, and Mandy’s voice is astonishing. It was like hearing Kate Bush in her prime.
A great set taken from all eras of Kate’s music, capturing the essence of the songs perfectly.
Nice venue and friendly crowd. What a great evening.
Inspiring to watch, consummate musicians. Lovely venue where you can get to see the moves. I would rather watch these guys 100 times over than pay for an Oasis ticket!
I Really enjoyed this show, I have seen the band in action a couple of times before in support and headlining their own shows and they have become really polished now.
The main feature is the two strong and beautiful voices of Lindsey and Chloe backed up by a sound machine of guitar, bass and drums that power along on all songs. They sing mainly their own material which is good and varied. They did a cover on this occasion which was fantastic too. Ed “the shred” on guitar is a virtuoso but fits in perfectly with the strong engine of Billy the Bass and Donna the drummer.
Rock, tinged with blues and soul is the make up of most of their material but they can do acoustic too. This show at the Half Moon was full on with material old and new all of which was well received by by their many “Bravia’s”
Moving Pictures are, quite simply, the perfect Rush tribute band. Talented, humble, funny and committed. The gig was a joy from start to finish. Rush fans are used to the very highest standards and Moving Pictures deliver every time. If you can see them, go see them!
The best tribute act by Far. Look, sound and attitude. The loudest gig I’ve ever attended. If you see one tribute act to anyone, make sure it’s Dirty DC.
I saw Boot Led Zeppelin at the Half Moon Putney on Saturday 16th December, which was incredibly busy with people out for pre Christmas drinks. I thought they were great. Each artist got their moment in the spotlight and the sound was great. I am planning to see them again in 2024. I will also be back at the Half Moon - wonderful atmosphere and staff incredibly friendly and accommodating despite being so so busy
Boot Led Zeppelin delivered a beautiful & powerful show as always! Their mastery is truly wonderful to witness- every time it’s an uplifting & emotional experience! The Half Moon in Putney is a great venue- highly recommend 🎶🎼🎵!!
We went to the afternoon show billed as the “best of the rest “, the really big anthems from Moving Pictures and other albums were left until the evening show which we didn’t do.
That didn’t bother us the band performed a brilliant selection of Rush songs covering four decades of their music.
The sound was very good and all the songs that I knew were played superbly and a precise rendition of the original in my opinion.
Overall great entertainment and I would definitely like to go to the evening show next time.
Thanks to Moving Pictures for producing an aural and visual treat for all Rush music fans.
Staggeringly good. Music for the big stage in a tiny venue. I still have their songs running through my head two days after the gig. Chloe & Lindsay are incredibly talented singers . Chloe's stage presence is particularly impressive - she really is a whirlwind of energy! Ed's guitar skills are magical too. Can't wait to see them again.
Great gig, the trio format with Josh on guitar, Jen on guitar and keyboard, and Adam on bass worked very well. Josh did most of the vocals with Jen taking the honours on a couple. They had the audience behind them from the first to the last number, a really good start to the evening.
Great night, great music, great band. Rainbreakers are on the ascent, improving with every gig. Recordings are good but nowhere near the live performance. Miss them at your peril. 😎
