Since 1940, the iconic Tower has been the center of downtown Bend. Fully renovated in 2004, the Art Deco Modern venue remains Central Oregon’s premier stage for the performing arts. The historic 460-seat venue is owned and operated by the nonprofit Tower Theatre Foundation.
Devon Almand played for us in Bend Oregon actually Monday night I tried to answer the question, how was the show, well I decided to say I left with a beautiful feeling, a feeling I can't describe . But the memories he has given us many of us will last forever 💙
Jake is amazing, we saw him a few years ago and he has only gotten better. Thanks to the Tower for booking him again. We were members for several years, but discontinued our membership due to sound and volume issues for the size of the venue. Several shows we had to just leave because we could not stand the level of sound. This was the first show we have been back to since we dropped our membership several years ago. I was very pleased with the sound mix and level settings, having run sound boards for 30 years I know a little bit about it, so who ever the tech on the board was that night did a great job. I hope we can come back again and may consider membership again based on this experience, sound levels must be appropriate for the size of the venue, if your sound tech does not understand that or how to set for that, you need to replace him, as he is on the biggest instrument in the room, and if he is off it does not matter how talented the artist is on stage, they are going to sound bad, and the reverse is also true, the sound guys play a huge part in the success of the event. I hope what we saw for Jake's show is the trend and not a one off for the Tower. Thanks again for bringing him back.
I have been a fan for some time, following short videos on Facebook. We were able to get good seats and I enjoyed the show. It is nice to go to a comedy show that is clever, funny, and clean.
He reminds me of some of the kids I went to high school with. Class Clown. Hope to see him again in the future
This was my 3rd concert and my brother's 10th! A sold out show and for good reason. The epitome of artists who care about giving their all to the audience. When they return to the Tower, don't miss them. Well worth the $45 and FAAAAAR better entertainment than Hayden Homes. You have a comfortable venue with refreshments available and the artists DO stick around and sign CD's, posters, and T-shirts. They volunteer to have their pics taken with anyone who asked and stayed until the last cowgirl left. The Tower Theatre is amazing.
We drove from Eugene to Bend to see Brad Upton. I'd been watching some of his YouTube videos and found him even more hilarious in person. He had the audience enthralled. Excellent show!
Dumpstaphunk and Jon Cleary were amazing! Venue was great! The sound system there is a little over-bearing for such a small theatre. Could have used less bass...
