Established in 2004, StageOne is a 225 seat venue in the heart of downtown Fairfield, Connecticut. Originally built primarily for theatre productions, StageOne is consistently voted as the best place to hear live music in the entire region because of the quality of the sound, the intimacy of the space, and the caliber of the artists. The artists love to perform here and frequently cite StageOne as their absolute favorite venue. This brings out the very best in them, which is reflected in the quality of their performances and enjoyment of their fans.
Great show! My last DM show was in 2018 and when I saw this posted there was no stopping me driving from Jersey. Love seeing these guys live. Hope there’s more east coast in the future!
Great little venue. And David was so perfect - great stories, songs and interactions with the audience. Last stop on this tour and he was in fine spirits!
I could not have been happier. A two set show with every song I could have hoped for. The venue was intimate, and the performers were engaging and friendly and the banter was so “trioesque”! Their musicianship was extraordinary and “right on”. The tribute to our recent successes in space with “Armstrong” was an unexpected icing on the cake, with a quality nostalgic video which was very well done. Such a great event!!
Mo ROCKS! So much energy from this band. They clearly love what they do & we thank them for keeping ska alive! Stage One is a small place which means there not a bad seat in the joint! Not that anyone sat… we all stood, so close that Mo came over & held our hands! Amazing show! I would go over & over again!
This is the 2nd time I have seen the Church of Cash. Jay, Don Diego, and the band kept the audience engaged throughout the entirety of the show. They even touch on some history of Johnny Cash as well. If you love Johnny Cash this tribute band can't be missed. Looking forward to another spectacular show. Another nice touch; Jay and the band come out during the intermission to talk to the guests and even take requests.
These 3 musicians are what Rock and Roll is all about. They were so talented and sounded so great. The audience was having as much fun as they were. These 3 men are 70-73 years old and still bring it better than many younger bands. They inspire me still, and I've listened to them for 40+ years! If you get the chance to see them, please see them!
A fantastic, intimate show! This band hasn’t lost a step in their 50 years. It’s obvious that they enjoy each other and are truly appreciative of their fans. Can’t wait to see them in Boston.
Another top notch show from BBMak! Vocals and harmonies were beautiful. They changed the set list up a bit and Mark brought back the bagpipes! It was a wonderful night of nostalgic music and some good laughs.
Awesome show by Grahame Lesh and Friends !! They played some deep cuts in the Grateful Dead songbook, some gems from Midnight Northand some superb covers, including Eminence Front (The Who), and closing out the show with Jessica (the Allman Brothers). Grahame Lesh is an exceptionally talented guitarist and his band members were all top notch as well.
StageOne at the Fairfield Theater Company, is an incredible venue that brings you up close and personal , and with a band that played such a great pair of sets and encore, as was the case with Grahame Lesh and Friends, its hard to find a better concert.
Wow !! A stage full of talent !! They never disappoint me !! This being the 25th year since the release of the Good Thief album ,definitely one of my favorites, we enjoyed seeing it performed live the first and the latest works such a treat! We will be going again to Beacon on the 31st The Best!! An excellent show !!! We have been fans since 1998. Again they never disappoint Me !!
Great night!
Kat wright sounded wonderful. We have seen Kat a couple times. She makes it look so easy . What a beautiful voice!
The opener, Seth Walker has some new fans. Can’t wait to catch his set again.
Stage One is still the perfect venue for the artist and the fans. Intimate and always sounds great!
Nicotine Dolls, was awesome I wish for more recognition in months to come. Not often you hear the authenticity of the music and lead vocal singer as on Radio. I'm looking forward to hearing them on the Radio soon.
Best of Luck

I didn't go to the show but I went to see Jeff Pitchell last year in upstate Connecticut I-95 North. He's fantastic! I will be going to see him in other venues very soon in connecticut. I love Stevie Ray Vaughan and he is the closest guy on planet Earth to the great Stevie Ray Vaughan!
This was by far, one of my favorite concerts of all time! I loved that it was at a smaller venue and there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. I had listened to the new album “Free Myself” quite a few times before the show but now playing it on repeat daily! I was sooo at aww with Sophie B. Hawkins on stage. She is amazing! Extremely talented songwriter, singer and entertainer! Her energy and raw emotion just pour out! I can so relate to her new album after have gone through a divorce after being married for 33 years! Honestly, she may have just saved my life! Listening to this album, I have found myself once again and feel very empowered! I must also mention that after the concert she did a meet and greet, signed my cd and allowed us to take photos! Such a down to earth entertainer and an awesome human being! I only wish she was coming around my area again…I would go see her again in a heartbeat! Shout out to her band members too! Katie Marie is an awesome drummer and always has a beautiful smile on her face while drumming her heart out! Seth Glier also played and sang his heart out! Loved, loved every minute! Come back to Connecticut soon!!
Al Stewart and his band Empty Pockets put on a great show in Fairfield last night. What a pro! Mr Stewart mixed old and new with some interesting stories sprinkled in. I first saw him at The Tower Theater in Upper Darby Pa 46 years ago and he was as smooth last night as we was all those years ago. Really cool that my daughter and I went to the show together last night!
He’s an incredible entertainer - extremely talented, captivating, fun and funny amd playful with the audience and also deep and connecting. Can’t say enough good!
