Such a great performance! The guys are fantastic! Ken injured his leg, had a cast on, and still rocked out! Hella dope, mad props to him! Best part was when a drunk fan bum rushed the stage, and danced & sang for a whole song, and the band was cool with it!! The guy then stage dived on a bunch of people - what a wild fun night!
This was absolutely the best show every single musician that played with Slash was world class they were so talented and Slash himself is one of the best guitar players of the world It was such a beautiful night at a beautiful venue, for a good cause as well! It was such a treat to get to see him play up close!
I was able to meet JVKE & he was such a big sweetheart. Concert was great & I got a picture with ZVC after the show too. The only downside was there was an obnoxious drunk girl who didn’t know how to respect people’s personal space. My sister has to tell her to stop 2x & until we didn’t start arguing with her she didn’t move away from us
Everything about it was perfect. The Rooftop at Pier 17 is a venue like no other, truly. Seeing Something Corporate play live was on my bucket list, and now I can check it off. I hope to go to more shows at this venue in the future, and I hope to see Something Corporate again later on this tour!
I was there at Pier 17 in NYC in May 2022 thinking it might be their last. Made a special trip from PA. Please come to the east coast again Devo! I got my “praying hands” begging for you to come to Philly this time!
Absolutely amazing show- Mackelmore is so authentic and fun- talked to the crowd a ton which I loved. He had such fun energy and I don’t know how anyone could leave nothing but a 5 star review for him and the venue both….love you Mackelmore- you know how to show up!!🙌🫶🙌.
They rocked their weird little hearts out. Musicianship through the roof and played out on the rooftop at Pier 17. From 7:15 to 10, no break, no phoning it in. Mexican take-out was ordered and the we drifted in the night. Ween, the wife and I thank you very much!
Everything is prefect except the two white bitches In front of me being rude c**ts ,they literally got huge spaces in front of them and I nearly got squeezed cuz these bitches won’t go forward and one of the bitch hit my head with her arm so I politely told them to forward a little bit, but they roll their eyes to me … ruined my whole damn night I fucking hate dumb yt ppl
What a performance!! She loves what she does.....I'm a late comer to her music and I can't get enough. She has passion and she really connects with her concert goers. I miss her already.
The venue was spectacular with Manhattan in the background. Couldn't ask for more!
Quite arguably the single best live act on the road this summer. Luke Spiller is an amazing front man, and every song commands a crowd singalong (whether you know the words or not). Rock and roll is still very much alive with this amazing band!
The most fun I have had in a long time what a way to kick off the summer I freaking love BNL and Five For Fighting and Del Amitri even though I only know one song by them I still enjoyed watching them live I was there with my sister.
Literally one of the happiest nights of my life 🫶🏻 I’ve never felt so safe and comfortable in a crowd and the way PUP facilitates a safe environment without decreasing any energy is really special. Loved every second and would go to hundreds of PUP shows if I could!!!!
I love Andrew McMahon with all of my heart! From Something Corporate to Jack's Mannequin to AMITW, I've completely and thoroughly enjoyed every single show more than I can express!!
I probably have 1000s of photos, but here's a recent one from Pier 17 front and center 💙💛💜💚
Great band. They are way more than Take Me Out - the first album is nearly perfect. Not sure why they don't play one of their best songs - Jacqueline. But cool venue with great views + a great band = a great night out!
I love The Driver Era. I've been following them for almost 10 years now. This is my second time going to one of their shows.
I have to say that I was really happy to say them perform, but there were a few things that made my experience a bit less enjoyable than the first time I saw them.
First, there were A LOT of people. Like...A LOT. Which I don't usually mind too much. However, it was such a hot day. And we were getting pushed when Ross went a bit closer to the crowd (I was like 7th row). And people were singing so loud, I barely could hear Ross or Rocky sing.
After the show, I thought I could meet them like I did back in Baltimore in 2019. However, I took a quick quick picture with Ross, and that was it. They were rushed, and I was kind of bummed I didn't get the chance to talk to them. I mean, I understand though, they aren't obligated to do that. M&G is made for that. They probably just wanted to enjoy NYC! I just wish I didn't have expectations. I also feel like the show was a lot less personal than the one I attended to back in 2019 (like they talked a lot less to the crowd). I don't know if it's because of the city (NYC vs Baltimore), or just because they have grown in popularity, but this is what I've noticed.
Anyhow, I love them. Can't wait to see them again. But, believe me, next time, I'll get that VIP ticket again, and won't go to NYC.
5 stars 'cause that's what they freaking deserve!
There is nothing Meshell performs and it is not spectacular. Her performance and music was amazing. I traveled 790 miles, from Chicago, to see her. Unfortunately, I missed most of the performance, but the small part I did see made the trip worth it. I can't wait to travel to another city to see her next year.
This show was my absolute favorite concert I have ever been to in my entire life. VIP was super fun and interactive. The boys preformed great there and during the actual show. They stopped the concert to send in EMTs for a girl who passed out in the middle of the pit, they then proceeded to spend 10 minutes handing us all waters. They were so kind. The visuals, songs, and their performance was amazing and every single person in the crowd enjoyed themselves. I wish I could go to tonight’s NYC show because of how good yesterday’s was. Chase Atlantic will forever be my favorite band and live performers. (Not to mention both of their openers were fantastic as well!)
They put on a PERFORMANCE! They KNOW how to put on a live show. It was a beautiful experience and after 10 years of being a fan of their music this performance solidified why I love this band! They are such talented artists/musicians :)
Beautiful night in a beautiful venue with Beautiful music. The Head and Heart put on a great show mixing in new material with their favorites. The Rooftop at Pier17 when the weather is good is a spectacular place to see a show. You're not too far from the stage anywhere. The background is the NYC skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge.
The Head and Heart were in great form and I'm really liking the rapport between Jonathon, Charity and Matt who is a newer member. They were tight and sounded great.
Gojira was fantastic, I have looked forward to seeing this band a long time, they are a favorite. But they would've been even better if the "sound person" had (crazy concept here, I know...)actually been competent enough to mix the guitars and bass *through* the sound system and turned them WAY WAY UP the 3/4 of the way through the show so every song didn't need to be identified only by drum beat. Good thing they have a great drummer. Anyhow, this person finally woke up enough to do that finally and the band ended strong and were great.
