She's a class act a true representation of a young woman from Texas taking her God gifted talents across the country to share her heartache and healing through her amazing vocal talent through her songs and covers to her audiences which has grown her fanbase from starting off sharing her talents off TikTok and singing the national anthem to being so kind sweet and humble and doing meet and greets after the show go see her live if you can you won't regret it.
Mildlife's Halloween show at Deep Ellum Art Company in Dallas was a fusion of mesmerizing musicianship and ethereal atmosphere, a performance that felt as much like an exploration of sound as it did a concert. Known for their genre-defying blend of jazz, psychedelic rock, disco, and electronic, the Melbourne-based quartet drew the crowd into a sonic landscape that was at once funky, hypnotic, and uplifting.
Deep Ellum Art Company, one of Dallas' most eclectic venues for music and art, provided the perfect backdrop. Its cozy, artistic ambiance—art-covered walls and low, moody lighting—fit Mildlife's energy well. The band's immersive light show filled the room, the colors pulsating to the beat and creating a visual extension of their music.
The setlist was crafted expertly, featuring fan favorites like "Magnificent Moon" and "Automatic," both of which drove the crowd to a groove-driven trance. The musicians themselves were in sync, navigating complex rhythms and synth-laden textures with a natural ease that made it clear they were deeply connected to each other and the music. Kevin McDowell’s flute work stood out, adding an organic touch to the electronic swells and smooth bass lines, while drummer James Donaldson anchored every track with a precision that was tight yet effortless.
Each song felt like a journey, with extended instrumental breaks that invited the audience to lose themselves in sound. By the end of the night, Mildlife’s show had transformed Deep Ellum Art Company into an escape from the ordinary—a place where music, visuals, and atmosphere fused into something larger than life. For those lucky enough to experience it, this performance was a reminder of live music’s ability to transcend, connect, and elevate.
Such a phenomenal set with over of the most talented DJ’s in the music scene. Absolutely phenomenal funk and dub vibes that created a real energy that the entire venue took part in. Some amazing crowd pleasing remixes really rounded out this awesome show at one of Deep Ellums best chill spots, with eye catching artwork and super friendly staff!
The event was great! This was my first solo concert, and I enjoyed myself so much. I had been looking forward to seeing Jervis live for a few months, and it was worth the wait. His music has been part of my chill Christian mix for the past few months, and he sounds exactly the same as he does on Spotify. He played some new songs that will be on his next record, and I'm excited to hear all of his new stuff in January. He and his band even performed an encore before letting out for the evening. He's a great artist, and I'll be on the lookout for Dallas performances by him.
The venue was great for the concert, and I felt comfortable being by myself. If there is another artist performing here that I like, then I'll definitely come back to this venue.
They took my phone like 3 times during the show.. they were so freaking sweet at the meet n greet and even signed my arm for a tattoo.. this was the best show I’ve EVER been to! Only $25 a ticket and $75 for vip? CRAZY I wasn’t expecting much but we def got WAY more than what we paid for!! It’s worth every penny! From concerts I paid up to $600 for this is def MOST DEFFFFF my most favorite.
Red Wanting Blue rocked the house at the Deep Ellum Art Co. Nice venue but the star of the show was the band and their commitment to leave it all on the stage even though the venue wasn’t full. I have seen them play to much bigger crowds and you would never know by their performance. The set list was perfect, high lighting their new album, including Goliath, and so many of their fan favorites including mine. All around great show.
This was an awesome event! I’m surprised there were not more people and wondered if maybe Kris needs a better PR team. The opening act was Walker Burroughs and he’s very good too. I have been a Kris Allen fan since American Idol and this is the third time I have seen him perform in the DfW metroplex. He puts on a very good show….he’s an excellent musician, singer, and song writer and seems like an all around good guy. (Which is another reason to support him!). I wanted to stay and meet him and tell him how much I enjoy his music and buy another CD, but spouse was in a hurry to get home. I hope the rest of his tour is fun and successful for the fans as well as artists and musicians!
What a beautiful and most amazing performance!! I've been IN LOVE with them for many years!!! This took me back to my high-school days walking home in the heat listening to Your Guardian Angel. I could not believe my eyes! Seeing them for the first time because I could not afford it back then!! Now I have adult money and get to experience these amazing people!!! I wish I could upload more photos with the rest of the crew!!! Wow!! Just amazing!! Will never forget! Hope they come back to Dallas/ForthWorth again!! I drove an hour away to make my dream come true and see them live!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Amazing show - crowd was super into it, knew all the words, and was really friendly. Band interacted with fans pre, post and during show - gave out free albums and took lots of pictures. Love RJA, Ronnie’s voice was incredible and seeing Randy do the screamo parts from
two feet away was awesome. Shout out to Nadeem for killer percussion and to Joey for being so personable at the merch table and during the show. Joey is an awesome dude to the fans!!
It was my second time to see Mike and Scrap together. This show had a different vibe with a bigger band and Scrap was featured a bit more. It was a great show at Deep Ellum (and Scully was wonderful at the merch counter) and I enjoy continuing to see Mike's journey as an artist. He has a unique way of playing with language as a lyricist and is a pro onstage who has sounded great both times I've seen him live.
One of the best shows since the Soul Coughing days. Great mix of Soul Coughing, solo, and new Ghost of Vroom songs! Mike is back, and can't wait for the next chance to see him and the band!
From the opener Rett Madison such a passionate story teller to the surprise Amos Lee joining for a song they recorded with Him. After seeing them last year open for Tash Sultana I knew seeing them in a smaller venue that was more intimate as a family trio their vocals, and songs are intimate, fun and passionate and you will enjoy every minute seeing them Live.
Venue was just right for this show -- easy nearby parking, plenty of room to move around in, great sound, not overly crowded. Yard Act, in my mind, have improved musically by leaps and bounds within the last year, especially Ryan Needham on bass and Sam Shipstone on guitar. James Smith on vocals was very engaging with the audience. The stream-of-consciousness lyrics did not always translate well in the live show, but the audience was able to follow along, even if the lyrics were a bit muddy at times. The set was a crisp 60-plus minutes, including a nice encore of "Rich". Great experience of a soon-to-be-great band!!
I truly loved this concert!! It was my second (ticket) concert. (ever.) I loved the size of the venue because I felt close enough to the stage to be noticed, and the crowd was not too big. It was an awesome experience that you cannot experience at home. Little image is such a good band. If you like Twenty One Pilots or Half Alive, you would probably like them. (I might have even liked this concert more than the Half Alive one if it were longer! 🤍)
Good day/night! ⚔️🖤✨
If you have listened to this band you really need to this was my fifth Moontower concert and i will always go back i love these boys! Plus the venue was super cool the workers were really nice and gave us ice cold water bottles while we waited and offered to hold our things!
What a absolute blessing being able to see to see them for a second time!
They fucking brought all the energy and it was another amazing experience.
I love them so much and I'll be counting the days until I get to see them again 💜👾🔮
She was awesome! Bendigo Fletcher started and he was excellent. Voice range is wonderful. Madison & her band were amazing and were generous with the playlist. She played a few songs without the band that were mesmerizing. Venue was great. - Deep Ellum Art Company. Clean, awesome bar and bartenders. Just wish they had more indoor seating. It was a standing concert. Great performances.
Honestly one of the absolute best concerts in my nearly 41 years of life. Greer put on one hell of a show! Honestly felt like I was witnessing greatness a minute into the first song. I was already a fan, but watching them in person was a f****** religious experience. I can't wait to do it again and again and again!
This was AN AMAZING performance! My best friend and myself had a blast and sat directly behind the brass section. It was an awesome experience and we cannot wait to see them again in a small setting capacity again if possible.
I've been to ALOT of concerts but this has to be one of the best of not THE best I've ever been to. The musicianship is at the top level. If you ever have the chance......GO!!!
