Probably the last time we’ll see this band at a really small venue…what a GREAT show with a surprise encore (Katie Crutchfield/Waxahatchee) covering Lucinda Williams ‘Drunken Angel’. Big thank you to the supportive and non-talking crowd !
We caught the Julie concert while visiting St. Louis and they were on fire! The concert was pure musical magic and they rocked our socks off! We miraculously snagged a safe spot at the front off the stage that was roped off from the sweaty mosh pit so we could actually focus on their flawless performance and infectious energy.......
What tight harmonies! My first time seeing them. I’m glad I went. Don’t sleep on their opener, Lou Hazel, either. Kind of gives a Prine/Croce/Glenn Campbell (?) vibe. Great lyrics/voice/picking. Get there early to enjoy the full evening.
Larry Campbell can play the guitar! Larry and Theresa played about 2 hours of country rock with lots of musical interludes featuring the outstanding musicianship of the 4 piece band. Lot of fun for the 30 or so attendees that paid $35 to see a premier guitarist. WOW!
I didn’t go to the concert and how was it? I didn’t see it so I wouldn’t know and to be honest I really wish I would’ve went but it is fine. It’s a real life is and I just I give up I’m not sitting here waiting on the fact that I won’t even happen and I’m just gonna keep continuing listening to you guises music, so hope you guys have a good day.
They were spectacular! Fun, high-energy show with an awesome opener in Miss Molly Simms. Loved finally getting a chance to see Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys after so many years absence from St. Louis. Off Broadway was a great spot for them and we look forward to seeing them again in St. Louis much sooner next time!
It was so great, it was hard to decide what to watch -- the amazing gameplay of the video game speed run or the super-talented musicians. All 3 guitarists and the drummer absolutely BRING it delivering the level of rock that 8-bit music could only dream of achieving. And you'll see things you never even knew were possible in video games being played. Great concert and concept.
I always love seeing Rodney Crowell. In my opinion he is one of Americas greatest songwriters. It made it especially nice to see him at a seated concert at Off Broadway. Almost like hanging out with Rodney in my living room while he strums a few of his favorites (from his massive catalog) and listen to him bullshitting about where they came from. Could not have been a better night. Thank you Rodney. And thank you Off Broadway.
Had heard a lot about Dale Watson, and it’s all true! Great Band, great jokes, great shows man ship . Dale really takes the time with his fans! Off Broadway is a great venue, will go there again! Betty King
JTG is always fantastic live. Even with Tommy having a cold so that he couldn't sing along with Ben they sounded great. At least he didn't have covid like their last time in St Louis so we didn't have to "meow" the guitar solos. Off Broad was a smaller venue than I'm used to for this band. If you get a chance to see the you absolutely should! This was my 6th time.
First time at Off Broadway. Really chill venue with a great patio to hang out and drink. Very welcoming venue and the audience was diverse and queer-friendly. Sound was strong and the really high ceiling in the performance space made it feel more open and a bit more covid-safe. Arms Akimbo killed their set! Amazing energy and warmth and they de fink created some new fans while opening for The Spill Canvas. Their newest song Morrison was an absolutely show-stopper! Loved the gig!
Incredible show. Such an amazing performance from the band. Loved the energy and passion. Was a little surprised they didn't play "Friend Machine" but I guess they're leaning more heavily to their new material.
Songs from all previous albums. People were dancing and singing along. People drove hours to see him and the whole band and it was worth it! people interacted with one another and Trapper. he had Austin Jones and the fiddle player join him for a few songs.
Trapper is great alone. He's great with just his brother Tanner. This is the first time I saw him with a full band They were tight and didn't need much of a set list. Trapper could call a song and they could play. If he's in your town, he is really worth going to see.
And if you didn't know it already, he shares
This was one hell of a show. Flatland Cavalry yams WCG put on an incredible show together. It was great seeing them. FC has an incredible sound and puts on a great show. Don’t miss a Hance to see them if you can.
Another bad ass show. Fourth time I’ve seen these guys and true to form, WCG was awesome as ever and rocked the house. Flatland Cavalry was incredible and Koe Wetzel was entertaining as well. Great show as always guys. If you haven’t seen William Clark Green live you are missing out. We will definitely catch you next time you cone around.
It was a lot of fun! I expected someone on percussion and was pleasantly surprised when they were both equal parts of the percussion on top of playing their string instruments. Super cool, would definitely see them when they head back this way.
Tightwire was great! The Bomb Pops were fun. Masked Intruder is even better in person! If I was to write a song about how they are the greatest band in the world it would be called. "Greatest. Band. In. The. World." #freeyellow
I've seen bigger artists less enthused to player for larger crowds. I've seen this guy play to both a crowd of 8,000 people and a crowd of 80 people. He killed it both times. You can tell he loves every second of being on that stage and putting on a show!!! He's great!!! If you haven't had a chance to see him, TRUST ME when I say you're missing out!!!!!
As Rolling Stone once said, the best band most people never heard of! Provided the soundtrack for a wonderful trip to Australia with my wife to see our son in school there. Drove the Wollongong coast and then Perth to Ningaloo Reef with Luna playing nonstop. Listening to them ever since—in my top five bands. Show was fantastic! Love Luna—great songs, fantastic musicianship, wonderful melodic vocals.
I was at the Friday night show and it was awesome. Alex Williams and Whitey Morgan were both excellent, I was able to get a seat which was a good thing for me and the crowd all behaved themselves, fun night!
