This intimate venue was perfect for a great showman like "Shinyribs"! There was barely enough room to hold the 9 member band, onstage. But the tightness led to an unbelievably tight set of excellent music. It's hard to describe a Shinyribs show. Just a night of many genres, centered around Louisisana/Texas/Soul/Country/Rock and Blues, With a Ukelele, and emerald green sequined jacket!
Thanks for a fun night!
Our favorite band, they are always a great show. The guys are so talented and humble! I always look forward to seeing them and what the song selection will be and what instrument Cart will decide to solo on. Always a treat, and it was our 23rd CL show!
To me, Mason is a beautiful precious masterpiece of a young man who should be all over country radio because plenty of country music is what you get out of him. If Mason is missing from country radio, I thank country radio for making us all well aware of how far its brain train truly does not travel. God bless Mason always!!! Holly in east TN (a girl who will always be in his corner)
AMMM was awesome. Great music. Played many favorites of their songs and some Shinedown songs. They were very personable. Great storytelling. Zack Meyers was funny. They enjoyed being there and the crowd enjoyed being there. We waited for them after the show and they took photos with us. A great bunch of guys. I’d see them again!
Tanner was so Awesome! 1st time getting to see him & 1st time at the Open Chord! Definitely going to catch Tanner again and will be back at this venue!
The event was pretty awesome, I came there to see Smile Empty Soul and ADEMA. The venue was very nice, just a bit crowded. All the bands killed it, especially ADEMA, this was my second time seeing them live, this time I brought my pregnant fiance. These guys were extremely nice and accommodating. They are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
What a great show! A really cool little venue, and David’s voice carried so strong! He has one of the best voices I’ve ever heard live, plus, he was SUPER funny on stage and his band was amazing. Their harmonies were tight! My only complaint is that it was labeled as an all ages show, and there was a group of….ehem….very tipsy individuals who kept heckling David the whole time. Other than that tho, what a great show! Reallly hope he comes back to the area so I can see him again!!
Amazing show- he put some much energy and heart and soul into his performance! He even stayed for hours to sign and meet every single person that attended! You must see him live
I am not a huge Allman Brotherd fan. Now I am. These guys are as good or better as the original. 3 drummers? YES. Playing their faces off. Guitarist mesmerize. Put this band on your radar and go see them
Phenomenal! Epic! Everyone who loves music should have been there. But, I enjoyed the small venue much more than huge gatherings! Ward Davis is the Artist everyone will enjoy! The Open Chord is pretty near perfect...wish the bar service line was a bit faster. The sound is great! 5 thumbs up!
Albert is a Home Runner hitter every time at bat! He’s an amazing artist with exceptional talent! Simply an honor to see this man perform! Don’t miss him if you get a chance, you will be missing out on a night to remember! I’ve been to hundreds of concerts/shows and this guy ranks up there with the very best!
first time ever writing a post for a tribute band. My fiancé and I drove into town from Columbus Ohio to see another show that got canceled two hours before showtime. Although this was a last-minute decision to see Kings of Queens, it was as if it was supposed to happen. These guys were terrific. Emo (Freddie) has not only the voice and the look but has all of the mannerisms and moves down to a science. I know I speak for my fiancé when I say that going to their show last night made this weekend getaway very memorable. I highly recommend seeing Kings of Queen if you have the opportunity. You won’t be disappointed.
These guys were incredible! 1st time seeing a show here, we really enjoyed it! Little smaller then some venues but still a great time. We got right up front, and these guys burned it down!
Man, oh, man. That VOICE! Seeing Mike Farris and the Fortunate Few is not just an evening of listening to music, it is an uplifting experience that sticks with you for awhile. A must see!
A++ show
Fantastic stage presence and just amazing to watch. Glad I was finally finally able to make it to one of the shows and that I got a few more people into the band.
The acoustic encore definitely made me cry a bit (lol)
As always, a great show. Keith Harkin has a wonderful voice. He sings and plays from the heart. He shows such great appreciation to all of his fans. And you have to love that irish accent. Can't wait for his new CD this coming year. Will be at the next concert that comes close to me.
Many superlatives could be used to describe last night’s show with John Paul White. However, I think it’s simplest to say that he played from his heart as he always does.
I had seen Sierra and her current band earlier this year at a college auditorium. At this smaller venue, the sound was perfect. Sierra is already one of the best in the business, and it was particularly interesting how some of the songs from the Weighted Mind album sounded with electric guitar and sax in the mix. Simply a great show ....
Outstanding. Very dynamic. Music is similar to that of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Great atmosphere, fantastic concert. I definitely recommend you attend an Albert Cummings concert if you have the opportunity.
It was incredible! There should have been more people in the audience because every musician on stage was at the top of their game and they played so well together!
