A soul energizing experience. Shannon has a magical way of sharing her journey through songs, lyrics that bring smiles and warmth to your heart. Shannon owns her undeniable range across her 30+ years of career to the influential artists she aligns with. Not only is she a legendary singer and songwriter, we were fortunate to experience Shannon’s talents on her acoustic and electric guitar. Simply a night that left a song in our hearts and a myriad of memories that we were blessed to share. The world would do better by encompassing the presence that Shannon brings to the room!
I would be remiss to not mention her band. Talent is an understatement when sharing any review. Jack puts on a musical masterpiece all on his own. He knows his way around the guitar (s)!! Bukka was a strong presence on the piano all the way from Texas. He became a major part of the music. Chris brought the bass and was a joy to listen and watch. It always touches my soul to witness someone who feels the music as he does. Chris never lose this musical connection. Craig rounded out the band through his consistent and deep impact on the music throughout the entire experience. The part that was particularly impressive was that after the show and speaking with Shannon and Bukka this band has only played 3 shows together. That deserves extra recognition.
This was so amazing!!! They were interactive with the crowd and the music was out of this world. There was an intense and epic show in the beginning and it was insane. We got to do a little meet and greet afterwards and get some merch signed by the members. Super amazing crowd of people too to interact with. :))
FIRST!!! okay really. I can't be the only one that loves this band. come on people show some love. This band is the fresh air that we need. leave comments show them love!!!
I would give 5 stars but damn can i get atleast one song from the 1st album? Im old i want to hear old hedpe! Lol and it was kinda short compared to last year but these guys allways get it done ill go see them every time but damn for the love of god play some songs from the 1st album every once in a while!
Do not sleep on this band. Sleep Signals is a group I fell in love with the first time I saw them in Pittsburgh last year. Got to see them while in Florida last night. Also got to hang out with them Saturday on the beach since we became friends with them last year. Did the VIP of course. These guys are top notch musically and as humans.
Venue was decent. Typical dive concert venue/bar.
Only complaint is that the local bands handling the show stacked 5 openers at 30 min each. Way too many bands. Most of their friends left after them as well which sucked for Sleep Signals. But they’re happy to be playing again regardless of attendees.
It was a awesome show as always Jahred and the boys never disappoint and are non stop. Best performance of the year out of a dozen other shows. Definitely will see the next tour through. Highly recommend!!
I’ve heard the buzz around this band but I’ve never truly sat down and listen to them or saw them live. I spotted the vocalist and guitarist outside the show eating and told them that the show was sold out and I really wanted to check them out and drug church again. The vocalist replied by telling me “don’t worry man we’ll get you in. I gotta say just based off of the way that they treat people I am now a fan regardless of the music. They also put on a good show and the vocalist in particular is very cool with how he treats everyone. This band deserves all that comes to them👌🏽👏🏼🤘🏽🔥
Gunshine are a phenomal band. They remind me of Mr.Big witha little neo-classical guitar mixed in. They have some damn good catchy songs too.
The first band of the night was a local band; good instrumentation, but the vocalist was shite.
Naked Gypsy Queen was just before Gunshine and they were also very good. Their set was paced weird (all energy up front, slow jams at the end) but most of the songs were above average and (like Gunshine) everyone could play their insttument very well. No 3 chord, cookie monstet BS.
It was a fun night. Thanks to Gunshine and Naked Gypsy Queen.
As always, Agent Orange was a blast! Suzi Moon was great as well. The crowd did not give the energy that the bands deserved but there was some dancing.
Really good hip hop show. Was never a big fan but have a lot of respect now having seen him live. ONYX was supposed to headline, celebrating their debut album “bacdufucup” (30 years ago). They canceled for some unknown reason.
Mustard Plug is always a great show! Last night was no exception! The Brass Mug was the perfect sized venue for the show. Great Music and Great People! I danced all night!
Red Calling was killer from beginning to End. They sounded phenomenal. They know how to rock the stage. The catchy rhythms were awesome. The guitars had an impressive clear distinct and heavy sound. I loved it. The bass player sounded powerful and filled the pocket perfectly. The drummer held everything together and played a kickass show. I was amazed by the lead singer's incredible vocals. Her performance skills are outstanding to watch. It was amazing to see her sing, play the keyboard, and experience the passion she puts into their music and her performance. I can't believe the band isn't more known. I was blown away by how they play so well together and how great they play as musicians. A killer professional kickass show. I can't wait to see them again. I'm going to share it, with everyone about how awesome they are. I was there to see OCEANS OF SLUMBER. But I'm glad Red Calling was an opening band. 🤟🤟🎤🎤🥁🥁🥁🎤🎤👍👍
Amazing show the boys killed it! After the show Ray hung around and was super nice to the fans. He even helped me to get the autographs of the other guys resting in the Van. (I was hesitant but Ray said it was cool) Everybody was super cool even though they looked tired from their super energetic show. Except Ray he was still going strong, he must be really in shape to keep going after all the energy he put in the show. Go see TBR live you won’t regret it. They put massive energy into their show!
