City Varieties Music Hall

I saw Kate Bush in 1979 on her only tour & Cloudbusting with Mandy Watson upfront & centre is the next best thing to the real thing, believe me it's true.

Lovely little venue, seats may be a little uncomfortable, but not unduly so! Seth and his band were absolutely fabulous. It is so good to see a group of musicians who just love to play live music. Even when the power went off during the second half of the show they didn't miss a beat and simply carried on. This was a joyous, life affirming evening in the company of Seth and his merry band. If you get the opportunity to see them live please do som you won't be disappointed.

LYR have never, and I doubt they will ever disappoint. Whatever else is happening in my life, it is all suspended for the time I spend with these guys on stage. I'm happy, moved, affected, elated, I smile, laugh, and I ache from the whole experience. In a good way! They are three very, very special individuals who, together, are more than the sum of their parts. I wish I didn't have to use a cliche like that, but I can't think of a better way of saying it. Simon, Richard, Patrick, I am so pleased I found you in Eldon Street. My life is better with you in it, wherever I see you, but it's an added treat to discover special venues like City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds. What a unique place!

Incredible- funny, moving, uplifting and sad. I left with my heart full

Absolutely brilliant! Didn't know what to expect but we were so pleased by the music Steve and his band produced, a wonderful merge of styles. lost none of the 'Steve' and gained so much more. The rousing versions of Cousin Jack and the Galway Farmer were inspired! Didn't want it to end, please come back soon!

Wonderful, Mary Gauthier never fails to move, wouldn't miss her for the world. City Varieties was the bonus, intimate and atmospheric. Great venue.

Grace never disappoints. Whether it's her music or her comedy show i always leave feeling uplifted.

Not the first time to see Curtis! He was absolutely amazing. Such an accomplished artist and so personable and engaging with the audience! I cannot recommend him and his concerts highly enough. And yes, I started listening to him as soon as his first album was released.

Another fantastic gig by Eddi and the boys, she's unique x

What an absolutely fantastic night. First class musicians, wonderful singer and great songs. Haven’t enjoyed a night so much in ages.

Brilliant, harmonies perfect and they were very Engaging.

His show left me smiling for 2 days after, he’s just fabulously funny.

Excellent concert.7th time I’ve seen her and would say it was probably her best. Also such a friendly person coming down to the entrance afterwards and having photos taken with her fans

Seen for 3rd time now in past 12 months and they just seem to get better every time. Need to change the glasses lens gag now 😂

Amazing the set up and performance can’t wait to go again

One of the most underrated singer songwriters in recent years in my view, and he never disappoints whether solo or with a band. Songs are all short & sweet, with a variety of styles and stories with some pure genius twists. He does a lot more singing than talking, but still manages some good tales and wicked wit. Great venue too at the old music hall in Leeds. The man's a legend and if you don't have at least a couple of his songs in your all-time top 50 there's something wrong. Check out his stuff with Brinsley Schwarz & Rockpile and the full catalogue of solo work ...... there's something for everyone !!

Went to see the Milk Carton Kids, left as a fan of this guy's art.

The voice of an angel. Outstanding and oozes class

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Excellent music in a wonderful venue.

A musical God. A genuine pleasure to behold everytime I see him. His vocal dynamics are something that can only be truly felt when you hear it live. Thanks Devin.
