There voices are deeply nurturing and how they organized the concert left me feeling completely fulfilled 🙏🏻
Such a fun, talented group of musicians. I brought my 10 year old son, who was pretty skeptical. By the end of the show he was asking when we can see the Ukulele Orchestra again. We'll definitely be seeing them on their 2025 tour.
It was very good! She had a lot energy, into the music tonight. The band was good and hit the right accompaniment. Dylan ‘66 is tough to capture, she was focused on the music, Let’s Go !!
She killed it (along with her fellow musicians) for both the acoustic set and the electric set. It was enthralling the whole way through!
Sweet, intimate venue that's just perfect for the Indigo Girls, allowing interaction between the audience and the Girls. Lucy Wainwright Roche was supposed to open, but was absent due to illness, which I was sad about. She is great as a solo artist & I wanted to hear about her new adventure as a mother. She also provides vocal support for Emily, who has had voice issues as she gets older. This audience stepped up and sang along, providing that support, which was very sweet. I cried tears of happiness through most of it, as I do, since they are my favorites.
Nice intimate show. Treated myself to the Q&A as well.
Morgan was down to earth, funny and honest. I was not expecting her to be So engaging since this was my first time seeing her.
Harper O’Neill opened with a short set and she is a good story teller who was also funny and engaging.
They were terrific! The sound was perfectly balanced & the music was great. Audience interaction was fun making for a wonderful, rousing evening.
Started the show with one of my favorites how to mend a broken heart ended with the best song ever flying without wings. Love the tribute to parents
This was my 10th time seeing BBVD and I can't wait for the 11th. They are such fantastic musicians and performers!
A great show. Talented Choir from South Africa 🇿🇦 You made our night. Love from your Kenyan 🇰🇪 sis.
The venue was so personable. It's as if we were having dinner with him playing just for us.
Great performance last night! Thank you to David and the big band for a wonderful night of music.
What a great show she put on. Also the venue was amazing. Great acoustics you don't even need mics or speakers.
Richard Marx was amazing. The venue was the perfect place to see him and the acoustics played a perfect pairing. Parking was readily available, a surprise on a busy Friday night. Only complaint, is the seats are old school, so they're narrow, crowded together with little legroom. Don't let that stop you from seeing a great show though
Fabulous Renaissance concert at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Thursday night. The core band of Renaissance with lead singer, Annie Haslam, as always, was perfection. They were backed by the chamber orchestra of strings, woodwinds, and brass to create a huge symphonic sound. These musicians performed music truly worthy of the wonderful acoustics for which this hall is known.
The set list was full of surprises including both famous Renaissance songs as well as Annie's solo, co-written pieces. Annie was in excellent voice and in between songs she shared some band and personal history. The audience of longtime Renaissance fans gave each song a very warm reception, standing ovations, shared their genuine love for Annie and the whole band. Look for a live concert CD to be released in 2023 if you missed the shows of this special tour.
It was incredible. I cannot believe how great Annie’s voice still sounds. And I love her sense of humour. You can tell she (and the rest of the band) are really enjoying themselves. This was the second time I have seen them with the chamber orchestra and that really adds another dimension to the show. They did a number of songs I haven’t heard them play before, which was great. Of course, this meant some other favourites were left off the set list, but that’s all the more reason to see the band each time they come around. The venue was wonderful as well. All in all, it was well worth the drive down from Ontario, Canada.
Seeing Bruce live is always a truly inspiring “event” that stays with me for many days. His interaction with the audience, his spontaneity, his incredible piano skills, and improv that you can always count on means he never sounds stale, even when performing radio hits. The audience at Troy Music Hall was very staid and the seating uncomfortably cramped Still, i was moved to both laughter and tears. Bruce’s collaboration with the youngsters in Y-Music and his other collaborative work over the years is alwsys fun and surprising. Can’t say enough about Bruce - i’ve been following him for decades! Thank you Bruce Hornsby!!!
Unreal!!! The sound was incredible. There energy was contagious! Very polite, grateful and even gave us a meet and greet which was so appreciated! Thank you for coming to TROY!!! Looking forward to your new CD in February!!! Bravo 🇺🇸👍🏻💯🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great sound at the venue and the Wood Bros are always a class act. Master artists!
Incredible acoustics in this venue really highlighted Deb’s beautiful voice and the harmonies between Deb & Steve. The humorous anecdotes and light banter kept the crowd laughing between songs. It was a perfect showcase for a talented couple!
