The Lemon Grove

This was one of the best gigs I have been to! My first time at the Lemon Grove which was small and standing only. I got there early, queued, and stood at the front - about 5 feet away from Johnny’s mic! 😂 Superb performance and the sound was great! I also got some great video clips including when Johnny invited a fan from the crowd on to the stage to call his bluff! ‘George’ had been pestering all evening asking, via placards, to play with him on stage!!! Eventually, after a few minutes of toying with him, Johnny invited him up, handed him his guitar and what followed was pure gold! A unique performance of This Charming Man. The absolute bollocks !! Top night , fantastic set , old and new , made me feel young again, I forgot what a gem of a venue the lemon Grove is too ! To summarise is 3 words JOHNNY FUCKING MARR !!! X
