She was absolutely amazing!! So adorable and real. My wife had a great time. Main Street is a great intimate venue for really feeling close to the artist. Her husband is a great guitar player. It was just the two of them, so you could hear everything. My only csuggestion would be that she ditch the Fender accoustisonic and use a traditional full bodied acoustic.
This was our first time experiencing Main Street Crossing, and it was such a lovely and enjoyable one. Very intimate and relaxed setting. The staff was so kind and attentive, while the band filled the room with what can only be described as, happiness! Rick and the other musicians created the perfect escape from the rest of the world as their notes danced around the room! Great music and a great time!
This was my first time at Mainstreet. I remembered Rick TRAVINO from the 90s. Music is excellent. Rick TRAVINO was kind enough to take a picture with me. Service / Waitress was great. I have some time off work so heck… Wine and Music on a Tuesday? Yes please! Lol I have already made plans to come back. This may be my new hangout. 😀
Everything was wonderful! It was my friend's first time to ever hear Ruthie! We had a fantastic time! The music, the food, and the atmosphere were all first rate! We were seated with strangers, and we left with friends! Please ask Ruthie back again soon and ask her to bring some of her older CD's for her long-time fans! ❤️!!!
Wow! Collin put on an incredible show. We've often paid to see other "stars" and walked away loving their music less after seeing their heart and their personality, but Collin was an incredible exception to our past experiences. He not only still has an incredible voice and wonderful group of musicians, but he also comes across as personable, humble, and as a great guy you'd love to spend time with. This was one of our all time best live musical experiences, and we'd love to see him again.
Main Street Crossing is a GEM! Although it took us two hours to get from Pearland to Tomball in the pouring rain and in Friday rush hour traffic, it was so worth it. This was the best concert! The small venue, up close, personal feel made it perfect. Our table was less than 10 feet from the stage. Gene Watson's voice sounded amazing and took me back 40 years. It was hard to sit still in my seat because I wanted to tw0-step. I danced many a time to so many of his hits.
The staff at Main Street were amazing. Placing your drink and food orders couldn't have been any easier. We had the spinach dip and chips as an appetizer which was great. Then we had the Elissa’s Bees’ Knees BLT's which were absolutely delicious. Nice, thick cut bacon and lots of it on Texas toast. The potato chips were the best I've tasted in a long time. We topped all of that off with the big warmed brownie and vanilla ice cream for two. We were stuffed!
Venue, staff, food, prices, sound, and Gene Watson made for a phenomenal evening. Thank you! We'll definitely be back.
Cody was amazing, as always. He told lots of great stories and played new songs, old favorites and two Charlie Robison songs. Cody is as much a master of an intimate acoustic show, like last night, as he is of a full band rock and roll explosion festival show. And he’s such an incredibly nice guy.!! I’m looking forward to Cody’s next Houston show! Thanks to Main Street Crossing for bringing Cody back again and again.
Dave was superb. He played "Stuck on you" for me and my wife to be. She actually had her picture taken with him after the show and was excited. Then more excitement was added when outside of the venue on a park bench I proposed to her. Thanks Dave!!!
My husband and I loved the show. It was our first time at Main Street Crossing and we will definitely be watching for more shows to attend. Of course Ray Wylie was awesome as usual and this venue was the perfect setting for his show. I also have to add, the food was fantastic, the waitstaff was very kind and attentive.
Just one little thing...though I didn't get cold personally , my husband did (and I am not complaining at all), there were so many folks that I saw trying to wrap up with someone (I guess not a bad thing either LOL). Maybe a little side not to customers to bring a light jacket if they are cold natured :) All in all, we enjoyed ourselves very much!!
We LOVED Ray and Main Street Crossing!
Absolutely wonderful! Loved the bit of humor and storytelling between songs, as well as getting to hear two not-yet-recorded songs—Waco Kool-Aid and Two Dogs. Also loved the night’s rendition of Just Another Beautiful Girl, which is my favorite song by Andrew. Can’t wait to see him perform again!
This was my first visit to "Main Street Crossing" and my second opportunity to sit in on a live performance by Marcia & her companions. Marcia was "at the top of her game" Sunday.
This was a "daddy - daughter date" with my wonderful, independently successful Kala!
We were seated midway on the cushioned bench roughly 25' from the stage with an excellent view and balanced sound. I enjoyed watching my daughter's exuberant expressions and rhythmic moving along with the music (of my older era) throughout the performance.
I'll continue to attend as many Marcia Ball concerts as I can & I'll absolutely make a point of coming back for other artists playing at Main Street Crossing!
Sincerely,
John C. Osenbaugh, Sr.
Didnt see them at Main Street Croossing but saw then June 24 at the Redbird in New Braunfels.
Awesome! I had 34 friends who joined me at the Redbird Listening Room in New Braunfels for the Beat Root Revival show. Only 4 of them had seen BRR before. Everyone loved them!
Your only regret after their concert will be that you didn't invite your friends!
Do not miss an opportunity to see these fabulous musicians!
On a scale of 1 to 10...Beat Root Revival is easily a 12
We have been wanting to visit Main Street Crossing, and Crystal Gayle was perfect for this very intimate venue. First, I am always impressed when a concert/show starts on time and this one was to the minute. The food was good, served at your table, and reasonably priced. Crystal Gayle and her wonderful band provided about 1 1/2 hour of entertainment. She quietly spoke to the audience often, which gave the show a personalized feel and provided some laughs. Crystal is not young anymore and neither am I, but I am so glad we were able to see this country music icon perform.
Creed was excellent, as always! Sounded GREAT. Play list was full of amazing hits. He even spent time after the show to meet his fans. Only wish he would sing “That’s where I stand”, as it is an acoustic song and his concert was an acoustic show.
Regardless, AWESOME SHOW!!!! Come back soon Creed!!!
The Creed Fisher show was one of the best concerts we’ve ever been to. He did a meet and greet afterwards that wasn’t an additional cost. We purchased t-shirts and he signed them, took pics with us and just chatted. Most artists nowadays don’t have that level of interactions with their fans. He sounded great, looked amazing and we will most definitely be at any of his shows within 5-6 hour drive.
Cody Canada performed new songs, Departed songs and Ragweed songs. He is an amazing artist, song writer and a phenomenal guitarist. Cody engages the crowd and tells many stories between songs. Main Street Crossing is a listening room so a great venue for solo acts. I recommend seeing Cody Canada every time you can.
This was my first visit to Maine Street Crossing.
I was not disappointed!! The concert was totally and completely awesome!! I love how personal this venue is!! Our seats were awesome but honestly there is not a bad seat in the house. I was so excited to see Crystal Gayle that I arrived at 4:45 pm Met my sister there and we ate a delicious dinner before the show. I know I was the loudest fan in the venue!! Had a great time. I will definitely be going there again!!!
Such a great performer, singer, songwriter, comedian, friend, and mother. Basically, you should all be trying to be more like Jamie Lin Wilson. This gal made me cry at a concert and I had never heard of her nor her music, and I couldn't even see her when it started. She has a VERY talented ability to really just reach through everything and touch you musically that only a select few acquire in the music scene. I went to see her again in Galveston and found out my grandpa died on the way there. When she heard about it, she came over and gave me a huge hug, told me how special she felt that I still decided to come see her after the news, and proceeded to have beers and tell some of the best stories and jokes. She is the real deal, y'all! If she comes into your area, hell, even your COUNTY...go see her. I'd pay 3 times what she charges for tickets to go and see her play.
Johnny’s singing is classic country at its best. His humor had everyone rolling in the floor laughing. There is no show better then the original urban cowboy Johnny Lee show. I will see as many shows as I can and still want more. Also, such a nice man to all his fans.
It was the first time I had see Paul. I have his music on iTunes and have CD’s as well. Seeing him in a live performance was awesome, I will go and see him again. The venue was great and it was a great experience that me dnd my wife enjoyed.
