I had such an amazing time!!!! This was my first time seeing the jins also my first seeing moon rules apply and cheerleader roadkill, I really enjoyed moon rules apply and cheerleader roadkill and I especially enjoyed the jins!!. I also even got a pic with Hudson and Jamie at the merch booth! This was a 10/10 night for sure and I can’t wait for the next tour!!!
Absolutely amazing—there was a venue change, but it was still an amazing show and experience. This band is incredible, got to meet all the guys, some before and some after the show. The energy was amazing, the stage presence The Runarounds have is mind-blowing. Love love loved seeing this band live, they sound just as good if not better than when recorded.
Absolutely amazing performance! The amount of soul and talent between these two is mind numbing. Heavy, funky bass lines that rattle the rafters (along with beautiful effects) and drum solos that will push your hairline back (all while he also works an soundboard and sings notes that will give you goosebumps)...and don't forget the beautifully eloquent lyrics. What more could you ask for??
This was an amazing night. I was at The Evening Muse on February 29, 2020 for BadCameo's EP release show. This was the first they were playing the venue since then and coming back into the venue was amazing. It has great energy. The band is always hyped for the fans and the FUNK was strong with them.
The venue is intimate and well-run. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sound was crisp and balanced. David Lowery is a charming raconteur. He introduced each song with a winsome anecdote. His vocals were clean and strong. He sounds better when he is not having to strain over the roar of Cracker. He’ has written a great batch of songs: good melodies & descriptive lyrics laced with melancholy and tinged with his distinctively wry humor. It was an outstanding evening. Thank you’s to the staff, and especially to David Lowery for sharing his gift.
Great venue - even rhe standing room only tickets still had great sound and a good view due to the venues intimate size. And it’s always good to see the Jackopierce boys. Although, the audience is a little grayer than when I first started attending their shows. ☺️
Candi Carpenter took us to deconstructed church and it was amazing!!! From the acoustic pre-show where we got to really appreciate the words to every song, to the main event where we danced and sang in unison!! I cannot wait until their next visit!!! 🖤🫶🏻🖤
I hadn't seen Ryan perform in quite a few years. His show in Charlotte only proved he's continued to evolve into a top talent and performer. He will not disappoint. The couple next to me were not familiar with Ryan and we're blown away! His thoughtful lyrics and memorable melodies left me once again awestruck. I look forward to seeing him in person again in the near future. Do yourself a favor and go.
Great venue, lovely intimate atmosphere, exacting musical talent, and her fun-loving personality made this show a great night out! Bri Bagwell's acoustic show was a delight! Her cowgirl flare turned heads during audience interaction. She played some tried-and-true favorites, took an audience request, and even played the new Don't Tell Daddy - which we all loved! The bartender and doorman were attentive and friendly; this venue was easy to find and enter. I can't wait to see Bagwell again soon, but that'll likely be in larger and larger venues; I'm looking forward to watching her soar!
I got to say. it's been two times since Ive seen Felix playing live since I moved to Charlotte last year and he never disappoints. Plus I can confirm that the sound at The Evening Muse was fabulous! it was my first time and I was amazed on how good they sounded at this small venue.
Great show! While small the sound and intimacy of this venue cannot be beat! Just a great place to watch live music. Lua Flora has become one of my favorite bands and I’m so happy anytime I get to see them do their thing live! They have such a unique sound and bring all their energy when performing! I had never heard the Hourglass Kids before the show but so glad I got to be introduced to them! They blew me away and I’m a fan for life! Great show, great people, great venue and great times!
The venue was so intimate and engaging, it was like the good ole days!
Lamont and his band are incredibly talented musicians and singers, I can’t wait for them to return!!! ♥️ was very sweet and took photos with my friend and I, humble young man!
What a fantastic show! The crowd loved the show and it was obvious JP loved the crowd! The stories were excellent and they still sound like they did back in 1993 when I first heard them! Thanks for the memories, gents! New and old!!
Great little venue. Perfect opportunity for the artist to play something a little different or at least to interact and perhaps enjoy his show… James played nothing different, had very little interaction with the audience and never smiled. He seemed a little bored with it all. Sorry, but I was disappointed.
David is a musical, lyrical treasure.
I know he was the opening act, but many many came to see him perform. I wish he had not felt obligated to rush thru his songs. His easy unassuming banter between songs is delightful and clever.
David, your songs and art are a gift, a legacy, for all us common folks out there. Shine on brother!
Really crowded venue (sold out). Kathleen is a trooper. This was the last of a 3 consecutive night string for her and her voice was really still strong. With her banter she really gets the audience into the show. Played all her hits and went a little deeper on her "Failer" album (20th yr anniversary). Plenty of energy throughout the show. Love seeing this great lady.

I enjoyed the entire show from the VIP session to the encore . Stephen tells lots of fun stories, and the music was great. We heard new music, and old SK Sixers songs. The Evening Muse is a wonderful venue, with a friendly staff that remembers their patrons, and welcomes you back. I am happy I treated misfortune my birthday.
Great show in the best room for sound in Charlotte (thanks Joe). Lowest Pair played a fine short set including cuts from their new album and one of my favorites, “Rosie”. John Craigie then took the stage and provided colorful commentary and well written and performed songs including some new music.
Fabulous! The venue permits a smaller, more intimate setting. Keith gave a performance far exceeding what I expected. He is a master on the guitar and of course his singing was outstanding. The man can hold a note forever! I most certainly will go hear him again.
