Musicians were excellent, did not care for the singer. I think there may have been something wrong with how her mic was connected to the sound system. I also do not like a show that is 2 hours long with no intermission. That said, Chris Botti is a master and always delivers a great performance.
Fantastic concert! Herb still has amazing chops and it was fantastic to hear so many old favorites, but I’ve got to say that the drummer he brought with him, Tiki Pasillas, was really fabulous too. (Who knew maracas could be played like THAT!)
A fantastic concert with Luca singing and accompanying herself in a way I found enthralling.
Pat Metheny is an exceptional performer! This venue at the The Music Center at Strathmore is the perfect place for hear all his splendor.
The venue is fantastic. Great sound system, lighting, and food and drink available. Excellent staff.
I love Pat Metheny's playing. I've seen him in person a number of times. Always great.
I was unaware, due to my own negligence, that he would be playing this show solo. As great as it was, I would have preferred he do half the show solo and then a second half with additional musicians such as keyboards, bass and drums.
I enjoyed this show very much! It was profoundly uplifting and inspiring. The performances were of the highest professional caliber. I would highly recommend.
It was a magical evening of music. Each artist was amazing solo, and with Emmet as their lead, the synergy when they played together made for memorable moments. Emmet is a virtuoso on the piano, as a composer, and as a band leader.
Great energy from fabulous musicians. Really great set. But was also really impressed by the support act - Monica Martin. Really looking forward to her new album with James Blake (one of my other favorite artists)
The show was awesome! She presented herself with a very professional yet humble and grateful attitude which made her extraordinary voice all more exciting, and enjoyable.
I loved it! The concert was fantastic. Samara is an amazingly talented artist. She, her father and cousins are truly gifted.
Great show! Still dancing and singing like he’s in his prime.
The Manhattan Transfer is always great. They are the best at what they do and they have so much fun together!
Wow, what a show! 3 solid hours of music. All the good stuff. I got everything I was hoping to get, and the Strathmore was a great venue for such an intimate show.
Sounded great and played for almost 3 hours. Love the Strathmore.
One of the best performances of the 12 Ray LaMontagne shows I've seen. His new, one-man-band album, Monovision, is second to none, and was performed in it's entirety. The venue Strathmore is second to none, having the finest acoustics of any venue in America.
The concert was awesome!
I am so grateful to be able to attend, and the Strathmore is a wonderful venue.
A lovely voice full of emotion backed by terrific musicians.
This was not my first Gregory Porter show, so I knew it was going to be good. But the atmosphere was on another level. During one song, I think half the audience was in tears and he received a standing ovation. Then he started crying on stage. An incredibly moving experience.
Wonderful show! Gregory Porter and his band exceeded our expectations many folds over.
Too bad we were seated a little far and missed out on some visuals.
The sound was great, not fantastic.
Whether he's soloing or just laying down a bassline, Victor Wooten's an incredible bassist. His solo during last night's encore was particularly good. Watching him with the Flecktones was great.
