Pearl Street Warehouse

This was also my first ever live show and he set the bar high! Great performance from Sideshow and all of his openers! He brought out some features from his newest project to perform the songs with him. He also stuck around after his performance and interacted with the fans. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Actually one of my favorite concerts I’ve been to!! I’ve been to a lot of concerts and this one will forever live in infamy in my heart!! It was my friends second concert ever and she refuses to go to another concert (unless it’s Tommy Newport) solely because nothing will ever top that night

High energy and positivity the whole show. Played all the hits and ended with Come on Eileen, which oddly enough is their most popular song but is a cover. Not sure how Monique manages to maintain her singing voice and speak to the audience the entire show, but she did. Being her age (50) her voice sounds obviously older than when she was in her 20s, but this adds quite a bit of character and veterancy, legitimacy to the lyrics that her younger version of self perhaps had not yet earned. Her voice sounds great nonetheless and she is indefatigable ons stage. She is very opinionated and owns the stage. I estimate that all the other band members are new as they seem to rotate frequently based on videos I've seen of other shows, or perhaps there are different touring members than permanent members. She boasted many antics which added levity to the show and interacted with the audience to include nibbling on a fan's cheek, reaching out to touch hands with fans during one song (she looked at me and reached out but I was too intimidated to grab her hand), gave a glimpse of her underwear at one point ( a la Courtney Love style) and ended the show by flashing her fanny at everyone. I had never seen Save Ferris live before but now have it seared into memory. The opening act Adrian + Meredith have an unoriginal name, which is simply their real names but we're entertaining. They seem to be a mix between jazz, folk, bluegrass, with a tinge of gypsy vibes and reggae. To give you an idea they have an acoustic guitar, upright bass, drums, saxophone, and fiddle (or violin?). Interesting opener for a ska band, but it worked well for the audience which was mainly older crowd that seemingly grew up listening to Save Ferris during their formative years.

Hudson Freeman was incredible. Best performance I’ve seen in years. I probably go to 6 shows in DC per year. Venue was great. Drinks were great. Love the Guinness cans, would love it on draft even more. I did find the empty reservation tables at the back a bit strange. Opening that up and removing the chairs would make it a great place to stand and watch with drinks.

Sarah and the Safe Word are a amazing band. I've been to several of their shows and they always make it a great experience. I love their inclusive attitude and genuine love for their fans. They should be much bigger than they are but it is so nice to be able to see a band of their talent and quality in an intimate setting.

The show was fantastic and I loved the venue. Sarah and the Safe Word are one of my favorite band and it is aways a joy to see them. Demi the Daredevil completely surpassed all expectations as I was not familiar with their music before the show. Moon Walker put on an amazing show. For all three bands, the energy was high and the entertainment value was great.

I absolutely LOVE carter & her show was so so good!! This was not my first time seeing her & it will NOT be my last🫶 I got meet & greet tickets & she was super sweet. The crowd was also super friendly which is always nice at concerts!

This was the first ever show I've gone to in my life and I gotta say that it blew my mind! It was an incredible experience and I'm glad my mom bought tickets for us to go. I loved that Usurper was the last song of the show it was perfection. Plus I was able to get some sweet merch and a picture with NXCRE! Hands down best night of my life! I definitely will go to another show!

Fantastic venue for an amazing performer. I stumbled across Shayfer James when my daughter suggested I listen to a collab with Will Wood… and the rest was history! From his independent projects to stage Musical soundtracks- this man can do NO WRONG!! Each song is a delight and seeing him live was nonstop joy! Thank you, Shayfer!

It was a fantastic show, with Watt continuing to hold down his ferocious bass lines in another freeform and tight trio. Opening bands Bed Makers (fronted by Ian Mackaye’s sister Amanda) and the prodigious sonic boom of the Motherf$&ers made this an awesome live event. Pearl St Warehouse is a great venue.

Absolutely incredible performance. My girlfriend and I got VIP tickets because we are such huge fans, and Bren and Joey were so nice. We got to meet them, talked about Pokemon, and took signed polaroids with them. The concert was phenomenal, with us standing in the very front. Bren's voice sounded so good in person, identical to their recordings. Joey's guitar playing skills were incredible as well. Having the words to their songs displayed while they played also helped me sing through some of the songs I didn't know all of the words to. The venue, combined with Bren and Joey's incredible showmanship, made this concert a 100/10 experience. We can't wait to see DWLLRS grow, and we will absolutely be buying tickets the next time they come around!

Birdtalker was awesome! It was amazing to see them live. I will get to say that I saw them before they became big stars like TheLumineers. They are also so humble and gracious. The cover band Rock Creek Kings was good as well. Loved the drum!

Such a great concert! I loved watching Kris performing and diving into his music. The venue was the perfect size for this concert. It was pretty cool that Kris was willing to talk to a long line of fans afterward and spend time with the crowd. Walker Burroughs was an excellent opener as well. Overall, a really great night from a great performer!

Last night's Project Mayhem gig at Pearl Street Warehouse was a wild ride orchestrated by the maestros of chaos. Picture this: the place was throbbing with energy when a lone protester crashed the scene, bullhorn in hand, shouting demands. But as fate would have it, this rebel turned into a fan, dancing recklessly on stage like a true disciple of the mayhem. The setlist was a medley of rebellion and nostalgia. "Should I Stay or Should I Go" had us caught in indecision's sweet torment, followed by Cheap Trick's "Surrender," a sonic whirlwind we willingly succumbed to. Project Mayhem then threw Bowie's "Suffragette City" into the mix, and the adoring crowd was left in awe. And just when you thought the night couldn't get any crazier, Olaf from Frozen made a surprise cameo, thawing hearts on that chilly Potomac night. The collision of protest and celebration, chaos and harmony, Keith Richards would've nodded in approval. In short, it was a night to remember. Project Mayhem at their unpredictable best, steering us through madness and magic.

It was so much fun! Emma Klein was so good and funny. The setting was really nice and the production was great! Marielle was awesome as always and so sweet afterwards. A night to remember for sure. Definitely good vibes and you can take some good energy and well wishes home with you!

Bella White delivered a set of wonderfully melancholy songs to a loud and appreciative audience last night at Pearl Street Warehouse. Bella's voice is truly addictive...blessed with the perfect timber to sing her self penned tunes of want and wonder. Songs like “Break My Heart “ “The Way I Oughta Go” “Just Like Leaving” and “Rhododendron” to name just a few come with a contemporary consciousness too few of her peers are able to match while holding true to the sound of traditional Appalachian music that moans from the difficulties brought on by life and love and love and life. Will I hear a set of more beautifully written and sung songs this year? Not likely.

This band is sensational. All four members are solid musicians in their own right (spoiler alert - watch for the killer drum solo) and together form a seamless whole greater even than the sum of its equally-talented parts. It's a little hard to understand how one group could have produced such a large volume of truly great songs. Complex, compelling melodies span a diverse spectrum from indie, pop, rock, hard rock, reggae, hip-hop-ish, a little bit ska, maybe even just a little bit country at times... with intricate lyrics that reflect serious songwriting skill. Every song is a great story well told; backed by a beat that will for sure make you bounce. Do yourself a favor and seek this band out before they get too crazy famous for the smaller venues (like Pearl Street Warehouse) that are the most fun. Run, don't walk. Do it now. You're welcome.

Awesome show! Sarah and her current band of Eric 'Roscoe' Ambel, Kenny Soule, and Keith Voegele have really come together in the last year as a tight unit, but one that stays loose enough to always keep it fun. Even Sarah's between-song banter was sharp, on point, and hilarious. Solid high-energy opening set by DC's Highballers as well. My first time at Pearl Street Warehouse, and I was impressed. We'll be back

Great show! I had an outstanding three night run with Buddy Guy on Wed, Selwyn Birchwood on Thur, and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram on Fri. Check out Selwyn, you'll be glad you did. Rebekah Todd and her band are awesome - her energy, variety of musical influences, and powerhouse vocals never fail to impress. This was my first show sans masks and it was a delight to feel some semblance of the pre-Covid world. Pearl Street is an intimate venue, yet manages to attract great talent. They now offer table service - not sure if just for certain shows or a Covid adjustment - but the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is pretty standard bar fare, but the falafel was surprisingly tasty. Good selection of draft beers and pre-made cocktails. Overall, a great evening!!
