A great venue and the atmosphere of an occasion, but BRJ being off his face at a charity gig was a bit disappointing as he was definitely the main draw. Fortunately Ciara Haider (with a little cameo from Graham Coxon) was great, and some of the others not bad at all.
Lalah hathaway is soul royalty. Her voice is like velvet. She was superb at the Jazz Cafe, the band was on point, everything gelled together, one of the best shows I've ever been to. Always loved the jazz cafe, staff always helpful and friendly, it was a brilliant night.
I didn't go to Jazz café but did attend Paris @ New Morning
The show was late, should have been 21:45 but started at 22:30 with the backing band spending a lot of time on their own songs which was disappointing.
That said, Lalah was truly amazing, well worth the trip overnight from London
Her vocals I have admired for years which is why when I couldn't make UK dates decided to travel
Would do it again
Just amazing.
What a quintet of such talented musicians.
Soooooo happy to have been there!
Follow this band - they'll be the next corto.alto in my view.
Super-brilliant

Superb show, Just accompanied excellent keyboard player who had done some fantastic programmed arrangements. Really engaged with the audience, felt very personal and intimate.
Set made up entirely from his best well known songs. PS. Loved the venue.
The show was great, it was nice to see them in person, they came out after the show to meet and greet which was really nice that time was taken even when they were heading to the airport to go to the next gig, big thanks to Joey and the gang, can’t wait for next year!!
I want to give 5 stars, but can only do 4.5!
Absolutely smashed it has to be up there with one of the best gigs I have ever seen and I've seen a lot!!!! Great venue and decent bar prices too!
The best concert I've been to so far. There was so much passion and energy put into all the music, each song was executed flawlessly. All the members were perfectly in sync to the lights and each other which added that extra bit and honestly the whole thing put us in a trance of awe and emotion. Props to the whole band. Furthermore, the drummer was an absolute legend. All the solos were amazing but the drum ones were something else.
This was an amazing event at the Jazz Cafe. Jon B is so talented and a good entertainer. Love his music, enjoyed watching him live. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
What a performance and such appreciation from the audience for Charmichael's music. Lyrics, style and beats were on point. We even made him rewind "The Medicine" track and start again because we were making so much noise in adoration! The band was amazing, the lighting in the venue enhanced the show and you did not have to wait too long to be served your drinks at the bar. Fantastic show and once again Kudos to the artist, I'm a fan for life!
What a brilliant night. They put on the best show I've been to in a while. Loads of energy and a great rapport with the crowd.
It was a night filled with amazing music that made you move. It was a wonderful experience and can’t wait to see them again.
Wow! What an amazing performance by Zo, Tall black guy, Deborah Bond, Emmavie, Dornik and of course a special guest appearance by Omar.
I wish I could get a recording of all the amazing versions of the songs played last night!
Memories to last forever.
One of the best performances I have experienced at the Jazz Cafe.
Come back soon Zo!🙏🏾👍🏾🔥
Great event. Not sure about the support act. Who were they and it was the wrong genre of music for the audience who came to see Change
Tiago tãooo lindo,
O show foi perfeito, deixou saudades, que carisma lindo de se ver, vai ficar guardado na memória pra sempre 🤍
Charli was brilliant as always. Jazz cafe is a good venue although always very cramped! Not sure about the warm up act, although dj 90s set was on point
Even better than their London debut last year. Going to be hard to beat that as show of the year.
If you haven't discovered Cumbia punk yet you need to get with it and go see the best band on the planet right now !
After seeing Aswad in the 1980s I have been attending live Aswad events regularly again since 2016. This was the 3rd time at the Jazz Cafe and the first since Drummie’s passing. The band were amazing as usual, the atmosphere was great and the night was great.
It would've been fantastic and amazing if Joycelyn Brown actually did a concert but she was ill and her concert postponed due to this and resheduled for April.
Charley was very good, his band was great, the sound in Jazz Cafe was excellent and Guinness was served at perfect temperature. Fantastic night out!
