These gentlemen are consummate artists who have hit on that magic combination: they take their music and their business very seriously, but onstage, they appear not to take themselves too seriously. After their concert at the fabulous Durham Center for the Performing Arts, I felt I like I’d spent the afternoon with nine younger brothers — very, very talented younger brothers.
I went to the show last night & had the time of my life. Not only was the staff very helpful & friendly but the comedy was magnificent. Iliza was beautiful/charming/blunt, the atmosphere was electric & the added bonus was the song that played before she came out on stage. The Mortal Kombat theme played which was awesome for me cause my martial arts name is Klassic Sub-Zero. That made the night perfect for me & added a personal touch to my experience. I can't wait for her to come back to Durham NC.
LOVE YOU ILIZA
I initially took my mom to the show because Anthony is one of her favorite artists. I may not be a huge fan but I can appreciate his talent and music. He did a wonderful show; the man has raw talent and it shows! I recommend his show to anyone whether you are a fan or not. I'd go again.
Show started at 8 with 2 opening acts. Anthony Hamilton hit the stage at 9:15 p.m and show ended at 10:30.
Fantastic show with so many different sounds coming from different configurations of the band; instrumental solos, vocal acrobatics, and top-notch musicianship, as usual. Susan covered Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” accompanied only by piano and it was amazing- could have heard a pin drop in the (massive) room. Derek shredded as usual, but added some new sounds, maybe inspired from North Africa. They closed their regular set with “Bound for Glory” and it moved me to tears. Spectacular! One of the best touring bands in the world, no doubt.
Excellent show. The band members are older but still masters of their craft. Been too long since I have seen them live. Last time was 1987 when they opened for Def Leppard. The sound was well done as usual at DPAC since I could hear and understand the lyrics
The DPAC is an amazing facility. It is so clean, great acoustics, and friendly staff. Bonamassa was amazing as an artist. I honestly felt like I stole from him with how cheap the tickets were and how awesome of an artist he is.
SHES 1000% BETTER IN PERSON. One of the happiest concerts i’ve been to somehow. lana del rays vibes were much more depressing than mitski. The dancing was great and her voice is beautiful.
It was amazing. I loved every minute of the show and I could have stayed there all night just listening to Derek Hough sing and talk. I loved all the dances and everything about the show.
This was my first time seeing them live. I love the venue. And the band sounded great. I just didn't like the fact that the light was never on DL. And much of the time it was hard to hear him clearly. A lot of the show I was singing just because I know the words to the song. The drums and guitar were louder than him. Or his Mic wasn't close enough. But DL owned that stage. He had more energy than the Energizer Bunny and was very theatrical.
I think they were ok, had a hard time at the beginning of the show getting the audio adjusted, I could see the lead singer was struggling. The lighting I could not see the lead singers face at all, like they could have put anyone up there, I think being able to see the lead singers face, to relate and connect is huge. I know this will not sound right bit I wish they did nit do any songs that they did when Tommy was with the band, should do just the songs the new leader singer was apart of, cause those songs I think are the Tommy bad wolves songs. I would like to see them again in a different venue
Show was magnificent. Many grew weary of the opening montage of film scenes, but I have been a fan since he was Johnny Cougar and recognized that he was paying homage to film heroes who had shaped his persona. Intelligent and magnificent!!

It was a great show, very entertaining, and had a few surprises in it. Possibly the best surprise was when someone announced that the Democrats had clinched the Senate majority, the place erupted in a standing ovation and confetti began to fall! I've been looking forward to this show for months, and absolutely was not disappointed! When is Randy going to host the Oscars?
It was a fantastic show. I feel so fortunate I was able to see Lyle and his big band in my home town with a great friend. Lyle created a warm vibe for the audience and for the many great musicians that shared the stage. The sound was awesome as was the facility overall. The staff at dpac are top notch. Helpful in every way.
He is amazing. His music is insightful and soulful. It was the first time I have seen him with a full band and they are amazing. The only drawback was if you have never seen him, with a band, it was hard to hear his voice and his voice is his absolute best features. But his acoustic set in the middle helped that. So amazing!!!
Another great show by SMKC !!! The whole show was packed with Kickass RnF’nR music. To many positives to name. I love how they play their original music, of course a few covers of Slash’s solo stuff and one hell of a job of covering Rocket man . Were there a few favorites of mine from their albums omitted from the show, yes but they played even more from the new album “4” and the show kicked f’n ass!!
Here’s to more albums and tours from these guys 🥃 cheers!!!!
The Decemberists have always been phenomenal especially live as a lover of live shows at who is seen over hundreds of shows there at the top I've been sending them since 2007 or 2006
What a surprise! I knew it would be good but I was blown away! Everyone was awesome, they were having fun, the crowd was having fun, just a fantastic show. Highlight of the night for me was the cover of Robert Johnson's Kind Hearted Woman with Tad Walters on harmonica. Also the cover of Who Do You Love was amazing, the whole night was really. Absolutely incredible!
IT WAS BETTER THAN PERFECT BRO LIKE IT WAS AMAZING DUDE AND A FUCK TON OF FUN AND I GOT TO MEET HIM AND HUG HIM AND OMG IT WAS FUCKING AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I SINGED TIL’ I COULD BARELY SPEAK BRO IT AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEE LIKE I WOULD SPEND WAY MORE MONEY ON TICKETS JUST BECAUSE IT WAS THAT DAMN AMAZING LIKE DAMN IT WAS SOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN.
Great concert! Having Noah Kahan there also, made my son’s night!! James was a little overpowered by the bass at the beginning which was a surprise because he has incredible range and tone. It got better and his solo was awesome. We would definitely love to see him again. Please come to the Wilson Center in Wilmington!!
