The festival was the best festival I have ever been to. We go really close and all the people were great! Keith Urban set the night mood right! Best one by far!!!
Absofreakin'lutely AMAZING SHOW!!!!!
Luke killed it. I'm in LOVE all OVER again & the hubby who isn't a big country fan LOVES IT TOO!!!! So that was just an added bonus. I, We will be back next year for sure!!!!! I've already started looking for other Luke Bryan concerts in the nearby area.
In regards to the parking.... that was a bit of a clusterfluffle... Golden Sky charges $20 daily for parking or $50 for a 3day parking pass & the worst part is they charge $50 DAILY for ADA Handicap Accessible parking. Are you freaking kidding me. Having a disability does NOT mean that you have more money or should be charged more than double the "daily parking" fee, in order to park for one day. That's absolutely ludicrous to me & several other people I heard complain about the same thing.
The parking rates should be the same regardless if you are parking in regular or ADA parking. On top of that it states that they will be enforcing the ADA parking by verifying that the placard belongs to one of the individuals in the vehicle it's in/used. They DID NOT verify any placards. Multiple individuals stated they 'borrowed' or 'took' another person's placard to use for parking. That's unacceptable & shame on those people for doing such things.
I've been wait a long time for them to come to northern California, and was able to see them finally at Aftershock in Sacramento! However I was mildly disappointed since they were the first band to play (11:45am) on the first day of the 4 day event, so not many people made it through the long lines to just to get into the event grounds to see them. And then their set was only about a 1/2 hour (not their fault, but most likely the venue schedulers) so only played 4 or five songs at most. Hope they can make it out here again and get more playing time! PS: the sound systems at this venue are fantastic.
At 16 years old listening to Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Budgie, I was a huge Metal fan. When I heard Prowler for the first time, my ears perked up. By the time Phantom started, I was hooked, for life. I’ve seen Maiden many over the years. Being a fan of White Spirit, I was really excited to see Gers join the band. Since then, the band continues to impress. Hearing Iron Maiden and The Trooper was awesome. Gers, Murray, Smith, Nicko, and Steve still have it. Bruce, not so much, sad to say
I’m a black metal die hard fan so Evanescence was big leap for me. I’ve seen Hammerfall, Omnium Gatherum, Eluveitie, and was not impressed. But that girl has pipes and the band can play.
I’m not a fan of festivals but, Motley are worth seeing anywhere and everywhere you can. Best band out there!
First time seeing 5FDP. So much energy. Was buy far the best experience of the night. Thamk you for putting on the show with a injury at that!!
You guys are my sons musical heros. He loved the show.
Real people. The things you do for people are amazing
What a show Slayer brings such enthusiasm u can’t help but mosh everyone should see them at least once
This is actually a review for them in power trip at Indio, same weekend as aftershock. They had to follow iron maiden, no small and daunting task. They did a serviceable job, but I think they were saving themselves for after shock
Was happy with majority of the bands. Was not expecting how dusty the park grounds would be. Also, it was pretty stupid having the bands/stages facing the sun. Could’ve maybe switched them around and had the tall stages block the sun. Was very happy and surprised with the food options
Would have been better if they had started on time. Did some of their songs but only played for 25 minutes since they were 10 minutes late. So I missed the first song of the next group.
Would have been better if everyone around wasn't pushing, shoving or moshing into me. Very good with songs I recognized and new ones. I had a very good spot in the pit near the stage.
Always an amazing show!! If you haven't seen Lamb of God, you are missing out! They are a must see for anyone!!
My friend got me liking these guys and I am so glad he did. Thanks Jon for turning me on to these guys. Performance was awesome!! 🤘♥️🤘
Kiss was classic and Epic, best band of the day, great show sad to see them retire but it’s time
What a fantastic time. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Will definitely do it again next year!!!
It was a solid set. The crowd had a good vibe, the band seemed happy. Randy stopped the music because he thought someone was hurt and signaling for help, so that was nice. We need to be looking out for each other like that. They were OK, but it's better to be safe than sorry, especially in a crowd that size.
And then I got to hear 11th Hour again. It's my favorite LOG song, and the last time I saw it live was at Ozzfest 12 years ago.
Awesome as usual... Even stopped the song when someone got dropped in the pit to make sure he was ok...
Without question OR argument, as there is none, LOG is the most prolific, hardest hitting muthafuckin' band in the business today....even WITHOUT Chris.....(that STILL stings me....fuckin' baddest drummer alive). Great show!
