It was an entertaining night - both bands were great. The hall was unfortunately not sold out but BNL still whipped the crowd up and delivered an excellent performance with their music, stories and banter. Toad sounded awesome as well and members joined BNL on stage as the night went on.

REVIEW FOR *ADELITAS WAY'S SET ONLY* Hi, my name's Chris. I'm actually a longtime fan of Adelitas Way, who opened for Citizen Soldier and Theory Of A Deadman. I've been a fan of theirs since 2006 and am a native of MN. I was working the merchandise booth for Adelitas Way, alongside my family members: My mom, Jackie, and "honorary AW superfan", Andy, who is my older brother (btw he has cerebral palsy and is designated "special needs, 100% total care dependent, wheelchair-bound). (And my sincere apologies to ANY AND ALL fans if there was a limited amount of items for sale. That was actually due to a shipment error for the tour, NOT the band's fault whatsoever. BIG THANKS to all attendants for the event, staff, security, and EVERYONE who purchased a CD, Vinyl, T-Shirt, etc.) For those of you unaware, Adelitas Way is a hard rock/rock alt. band from Las Vegas, NV, formed in 2006. They band currently consists of vocalist, Rick Dejesus, Tre Stafford (drums), Grayson Erhard (guitarist/ backing vocals), and Andrew Cushing (bass), although he was NOT present for this event. *****Only Rick, Tre, and Grayson were there for this acoustic show. ***** In all my years as a fan, this was the first time I saw them in an acoustic-exclusive setting. Adelitas Way played a short, but sweet set of old and new songs; starting with, "Bad Reputation" ("Getaway") then to "What It Takes" ("Shine On") and transitioned through with familiar tracks from their sophomore album, ("Home School Valedictorian"), with "Somebody Wishes They Were You" and "Criticize". "One Way To Find Out" ("Power"), also complimented this setlist well. Lastly, the group finished with one of their fan favorites, "Notorious", from the album of the same name. I had not seen these guys in about 7 years, and they DID NOT disappoint. The venue, DECC, was a well maintained, clean environment for the show and made for a relaxed, intimate concert experience that I think was well suited for Duluth's landscape.

Surprisingly moving and poignant. The dynamics of the band were excellent, the staging perfect, and Preacher John was bringing his heart on his sleeve like usual. Lisa Germano adds so much depth to the live sound. Goddamn great! But you still ain't got no friends homie! :)
