The event was good the venue was on a small side meaning the fleece and not the s.w.x where originally booked into and aborted excellent can't wait to see you guys again soon ( hopefully ).
Awesome introduction to Rxptrs, really enjoyed the set, great music, vocals and crowd engagement, looking forward to seeing them again! Not just an opening band, local to SWX and passionate, not to be missed!
A great evening at Bristol’s SWX where Kevin Morby rattled off a 90 minutes set consisting of tracks from his latest album and a selection of old favourites. He had a superb six-piece band backing him, including Macie Stewart on violin and vocals after she had delivered an interesting support set on her own. Great to see local legend Big Jeff (Jeffrey Johns) in the audience once again, after the horrendous house fire that injured him last year.
Walked out like your favourite old uncle and then blew everyone away. Packed and full on Moshing throughout. Excellent night classics tracks some Elvis and a sweet Alabama thrown in and finished with Holiday in Cambodia. Some piss taking and political comments added for good measure
THIS WAS THE BEST SHIT EVER. FUCKING WENT OFF. ALL THE BANDS RIPPED. I was buying merch and met Matt at there, bought a t off him and tried not to fan girl lmao. PLEASE COME WALES NEXT TIME🥹
It was my 1st time ever at the SWX ( but won't be my last) When I arrived I was shown to the Disabled area after buying a very reasonably priced pint. The warm up act finished their set....Pollymoon.
Then Kadavar came on and they were very professional and very tight as a band .
I had never seen or heard of Kadavar and was pleasantly surprised by these Rockers from Berlin. After that experience I'm keeping an eye on future gigs at this compact and fan friendly venue 🤟
Band was on great form and sounded fantastic, excellent sound system
Venue was good perhaps a bit difficult to get a good viewing point as I arrived late and everyone was crammed into the space in front of stage
Bad omens were really good.
the starting act were a little odd though, it's unusual to see lip syncing and clearly a guitarist not actually playing said instrument 🤔
Fantastic show from FM, The Graham Bonnet Band and topped off by The Dead Daisies. Feel privileged that such talent visits Bristol despite us not having a really decent venue yet. Such a great opportunity to see Glen, Doug, David & Brian, probably the best Band I have ever seen live.
Great venue for a gig & wow what a gig!
Have been trying to see The Latham’s for a while and and so glad I finally did 😁
I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was phenomenal. I can't wait to see them again already!
Shvpes were amazing too. Hadn't heard of them before but they have now been added to my Spotify ❤️
Last I saw Gaz I spoke to him about Black Dog Day and Be th Bigger Man and about how relatable they are for me and about how his music says what I can't and how his music has gotten me through some tough times. Today he opened up about how he's been suffering from Depression and sung Black Dog Day. I felt truly spoken to. Beautiful
Eluveitie were superb but Lacuna Coil had sound issues and I couldnt make out a lot. So much so we left 10 minutes early.
Great sound and clever light show made for a superb experience, we all drifted away to the 80’s on a huge synth wave! Brilliant night. “Keep on Runnin”
Ministry were great! Especially last half of the set when played old stuff for us old guys in the crowd. Support was interesting! Understand 3teeth were stopped at immigration so fair play to the guy that stood in at short notice. 40 mins solid white noise!
Finally they came to Bristol!!
I did the meet and greet with them and had the chance to know them a bit better. Very friendly and nice with everyone.
The concert was a blast!!!! As normally it is expected from them.
Can't wai to see them again at borgholm 🤘🤘🔥🔥
Light the Torch killed it. Roll on the Thekla on the 25th for a headline show. In Flames absolute class, great set and interaction with the crowd.
I was dubious about the venue. But my fourth Yule Tide Brookfield & TCOT turned out to be the best by far. The Sound and performance were out of this world. I hope next year's pilgrimage is to SWX.
Truly great musicians. Great sound system with an atmospheric light show complimenting the music perfectly. I was blown away for the first time in ages.
Awesome gig!!
Loved it all Worriers were really good, Cancer Bats were on fire and Anti-Flag
Are one of the best live acts out there!!
