Absolutely fantastic!
Everything I'd hoped for in a BEAK.. gig and more!
Joy mixed with sadness, knowing that it was the end of an era.
Will remember this night for a long time.
Geoff, Billy, Will....we salute you!
Thank you for the music.....for giving it to.....us!
Meery Yuletide one and all!

Every Elles Bailey show is a joy, but this home-town show at the brilliant SWX venue in central Bristol was extra special. Promoting her great new album "Beneath the Neon Glow", the set was a blend of new songs and favourites, each delivered with her trademark energy and that sublime voice, and received in raptures by the packed audience. The band were brilliant, punchy and dynamic, and support in the form of superb Demi Mariner and the excellent True Strays, just added the gloss to a fantastic evening.
As expected at an Elles Bailey gig, the whole evening was wonderful. Elles has a great band, a powerful stage presence, fully engaging the audience into being part of the show, great songs and one of the best voices in Roots music. Both support acts Demi Marriner and the True Strays could be headlining in their own right. A great home town gig!
Gary Clark jnr was amazing a real star, with an amazing talent. I really like the venue SWX plenty of space to find where youre most comfortable standing. I think the sound could have been clearer , less distortion but that’s my only criticism. His support Magnus Berg was great too getting everyone ready to go!
Having seen Ride some 20 years ago, I was full of expectation for this gig. The venue are fantastic at last minute changes, so if you have any access needs, get in touch with them! As for Ride, I was not disappointed. Live, they are one of the best bands I have ever seen. they're not my favourite band, so there is no favouritism here, but live, the bands chemistry is fantastic and they sound every bit as good as their albums.
Awesome!!! So so good. Excellent lighting too. Just amazing. For some reason it’s showing 4.5 stars but it’s a 5 from me!! Invent Animate were awesome too, didn’t get to see Acres. Loved the show
I am a regular at the SWX Bristol and had only seen. "The Psychedelic Porn Crumpets"
on YouTube. When they came out and played their 1st song I knew instantly that they were for me. Jack McEwan the lead guitarist/singer was born in England and went to Australia when he was 13. He studied Art Graphic Design (it's his weird, trippy films that are shown on a screen) With 3 lead guitarists they play off each other with great musical precision that is pleasing to the ear. The 2nd guitarist Luke Parish says his biggest influence was Dave Gilmour of Pink
Floyd. All in All a very enjoyable evening of Prog Rock and I will definitely see this fantastic band again when they're in the area again 🤟🤟🤟🤟♥️♥️♥️♥️
SWX Bristol fantastic venue, great hosts, IDKH absolutely out of this world - brilliant thank you - also meeting Dallon and Breezy after the show with my Daughter Lily was a dream come true - I’m just a Mum thank you 🫶
The event was good the venue was on a small side meaning the fleece and not the s.w.x where originally booked into and aborted excellent can't wait to see you guys again soon ( hopefully ).
A great evening at Bristol’s SWX where Kevin Morby rattled off a 90 minutes set consisting of tracks from his latest album and a selection of old favourites. He had a superb six-piece band backing him, including Macie Stewart on violin and vocals after she had delivered an interesting support set on her own. Great to see local legend Big Jeff (Jeffrey Johns) in the audience once again, after the horrendous house fire that injured him last year.
Walked out like your favourite old uncle and then blew everyone away. Packed and full on Moshing throughout. Excellent night classics tracks some Elvis and a sweet Alabama thrown in and finished with Holiday in Cambodia. Some piss taking and political comments added for good measure
THIS WAS THE BEST SHIT EVER. FUCKING WENT OFF. ALL THE BANDS RIPPED. I was buying merch and met Matt at there, bought a t off him and tried not to fan girl lmao. PLEASE COME WALES NEXT TIME🥹
It was my 1st time ever at the SWX ( but won't be my last) When I arrived I was shown to the Disabled area after buying a very reasonably priced pint. The warm up act finished their set....Pollymoon.
Then Kadavar came on and they were very professional and very tight as a band .
I had never seen or heard of Kadavar and was pleasantly surprised by these Rockers from Berlin. After that experience I'm keeping an eye on future gigs at this compact and fan friendly venue 🤟
Band was on great form and sounded fantastic, excellent sound system
Venue was good perhaps a bit difficult to get a good viewing point as I arrived late and everyone was crammed into the space in front of stage
Fantastic show from FM, The Graham Bonnet Band and topped off by The Dead Daisies. Feel privileged that such talent visits Bristol despite us not having a really decent venue yet. Such a great opportunity to see Glen, Doug, David & Brian, probably the best Band I have ever seen live.
I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was phenomenal. I can't wait to see them again already!
Shvpes were amazing too. Hadn't heard of them before but they have now been added to my Spotify ❤️
Last I saw Gaz I spoke to him about Black Dog Day and Be th Bigger Man and about how relatable they are for me and about how his music says what I can't and how his music has gotten me through some tough times. Today he opened up about how he's been suffering from Depression and sung Black Dog Day. I felt truly spoken to. Beautiful
Ministry were great! Especially last half of the set when played old stuff for us old guys in the crowd. Support was interesting! Understand 3teeth were stopped at immigration so fair play to the guy that stood in at short notice. 40 mins solid white noise!
Finally they came to Bristol!!
I did the meet and greet with them and had the chance to know them a bit better. Very friendly and nice with everyone.
The concert was a blast!!!! As normally it is expected from them.
Can't wai to see them again at borgholm 🤘🤘🔥🔥
I was dubious about the venue. But my fourth Yule Tide Brookfield & TCOT turned out to be the best by far. The Sound and performance were out of this world. I hope next year's pilgrimage is to SWX.
