The concert itself was awesome! However, the experience was unfortunately impacted by the merchandise lines—specifically the Chiodos booth. We waited in line for over 3 hours and ended up missing all three opening bands. Only one person was working the Chiodos merch booth, which made the line move incredibly slow. It would’ve been a much better experience if the booth had been properly staffed to handle the demand.
These nuns rock. This is the first time I've been to San Antonio at this venue. I have been to many small venues like that. Around Texas and in Kentucky and Indiana, I have seen many shows of many different bands and types of music. But I must say, this was the best time I've had at a small venue. Thank you Dogma. I look forward into seeing you again. Hopefully in north Texas, and if you haven't bought their album, I suggest you do so.
The most kick ass show I've ever seen and been to, first time seeing Gwar and they did not disappoint.
We were soaked and a whole different color by the end of the show!!!
Squid pisser was amazing, they put on one hell of a show and got the crowd rowdy af!
Dark funeral was heavy and played a dope show!!
Yngwie Malmsteen blew the doors off the vibes event center!!! It's been at least 25 years since I last saw him. The man hasn't lost a lick. He played 2hrs and my wife and I loved every minute of it. A true professional that loves his fans. I hope we get to see him again. Thxs Yngwie your the greatest!!!
The show was great ,The only detail I could say is that the Vibes Center could pay attention to the parking lot they have on the corner (I know it's not theirs) because they are ripping off the fans because they are taking the cars to the Creswell Wrecker, and we have to pay $234 dollars, it's a real abuse!! The show was great but it's a shame to end the night stressed out looking for the car.
Come early catch some new bands you might not know. Vitriol absolutely crush it. Carnifex and Cattle are on another level. Two bands in their prime just leveling everything in their path. Festival is always well run. Total professionals. This is my third straight year, looking forward to a fourth.
Was like a dream, I always wanted to see a performance of them since I met their music in 2012. I liked a lot the holograms show, the acoustic of the place was fine, their costumes were incredible and the immersive idea was completely a spectacle. Their songs are incredible, and the band really shows their appreciation to the fans, it’s awesome. They are the best band out there, they deserve to be more recognized.
The band was great, the show was fantastic and full of energy! We The Kings had the audience pumped up and with them from start to finish. Everyone had a great time and was left wanting more. The long line of fans waiting to attend the Meet & Greet after the show was a testament to the group's popularity and staying power! I had a great time and throughly enjoyed the night.
Dave Sullivan
This venue felt intimate and wasn't super busy or crowded.. it was perfect! The band was wonderful in person.. sounded just like their albums, but better! James' voice was incredible and he was super sweet in person. I got to meet the other band members as well, and Josh was very nice and funny. Love that I got to meet them! Will definitely see them again
Bloodywood was absolutely amazing! I've attended many awesome shows over the years, and I have NEVER seen a band with such unbridled energy and enthusiasm, not to mention talent! No light shows, no pyrotechnics, no special effects of any kind - just the band mesmerizing everyone from the very first song. I will definitely see this band any chance I get.
Absolutely amazing! Fit for a King’s energy and performance is like no other! You feel a special bond with them that makes your ears open your heart. I would recommend anyone to see them, even if you’re not a metal fan. Their connection with God and the way they communicate it through the lyrics is very moving. 100/10
VIP was awesome, the band is cool as hell! Alpha Wolf absolutely slayed it and had an amazing crowd response, I hope they come back again! Kingdom of Giants and Northlane were also fantastic and everybody was having a great time, I’m so glad all these bands are coming to San Antonio and I hope more keep coming
Amazing show!!! Their performance was natural and unfiltered. I am still buzzing from the aura they projected to the crowd. This version of their shows was very intimate and up close and personal. Unlike your typical concerts where you attend and feel rush to leave this one takes the effort to really get to show the fans love. I highly recommend attending not to mention the band was very down to earth which makes me love their music more🤘🎸
The bands were super down to earth and performances were 5/5. Had my first crowd surf and wall of death, and couldn’t have been with any better line of acts for the evening. Memories were made for a friend of mine and I who were at Ft. Sam Houston for military school so thank you!!!
4th time seeing them live, 2nd time on the barricade. I knew exactly what I came for, yet still was left completely speechless. They opened with my favorite song. Gonna be hard to top this band, they mean so much to me. Also, huge props to the minds who create all of the stage presentations, they’re always sick asf!
As always, Marianas Trench played a fantastic show. The boys really give it their all in the theatrics while still upholding their musicality. This is our second time driving from Houston to San Antonio on a work day just to go see them perform, altogether 3 times we have seen them and each time we have a great time. We love MT! #DedicatedFans
Papa Roach was awesome despite the circumstances and definitely worth seeing again! Unfortunately the venue was a poor choice, who picks an outdoor venue in Texas in late July thats a gravel parking lot right next to a train track with trains passing??? There were also some technical difficulties which ended up causing the concert to end on a sour note
It's was a fcuking badass fcuking show to tell that and I've seen HATEBREED many times but it was my first OBITUARY,AGNOSTIC FRONT,PRONG,SKELETAL REMAINS and all the bands killed it and I posted my videos and pictures on my FB account and Inst. Haha thanks for coming to San Antonio TX giving us a FCUKING METAL SHOW laterz and take care
