An excellent performative interview from Pat. Very personal. Opened with a few medleys and broke a lot of historical silence by discussing the advent of his career and how he got into some of his interests. His solo work was complimented on stage by adding in loops and some synth work as the concert went on - ultimately culminating in a multi-encore show featuring the Orchestrion. The venue was an exemplary choice for its acoustic quality. Spectacular event and one for the history books.
First time seeing him live and he did not disappoint! It was a one man show, just Pat and his many guitars. I loved the story telling that he did which apparently is unusual for him to do. I would love to see him more to hear more of his songs performed live. I’ve been a fan since the 80’s.
Amazing show! You are an amazing performer and person! Thank you for being you!
Not sure why Charlotte is displaying when I attended the Dallas show in Deep Ellum (maybe bc I grappled with trying to get to this show bc my sister lives there and it would give me another epic reason to go see her). Anyway, the show was amazing and I had the absolute best time. It was a perfectly quaint venue, small enough to become acquainted with fans seated around me. I exchanged numbers with some pretty amazing people seated beside me. We came as strangers but became quick friends with a common BH sisterhood. Joey was fantastic (and sexy as hell) as usual. Highly entertaining…. If my budget allowed I would have seen every show on the Solo Joe tour. I’m kind of relieved that the girl in the picture isn’t me bc I would lose my absolute shit if Joey ever gazed in my eyes and sang to me. Definitely could not play cool during that. Lol. I’m a Joey girl for life …And that will never change. ❤️ Forever a Braveheart ❤️
Eric Roberson is one of the most entertaining performers I've seen this year, and I've been to a lot of concerts!
He’s so captivating. So much charisma. He rapped, played old school, r&b classics & his new songs were amazing. I throughly enjoyed him, I’d definitely see him again & again!
Refreshingly positive and fun
Fantastic! Wish it was longer!
Jimmy Web was outstanding. He is not a great vocalist, however his superb piano playing and storytelling of his ascent to being one of the greater songwriters of all time was really wonderful. If you like the history of music he is a must see.
I can’t effectively describe the greatness of this guy. Unfortunately there were not a lot of people at this show and all I can say is that true music fans really missed something special. If you get a chance to see Matt play do yourself a favor and pay whatever it costs to see him perform. He is that awesome. Can’t wait until he returns to Charlotte!
Had never heard these guys before and I was astonished on how good they were. Unbelievable harmonies and really well crafted songs. I can’t wait to see them again, they are that good!
The Rangers get better and better! Love the new songs and the new arrangements. The show was great. The meet & greets are especially nice for the fans.
The concert was great. These guys are awesome musicians! They can also sing! Just a great time. Length was great also. Played 2 sets. Also the best thing was they met their fans afterwards and signed autographs. That meant more to my wife and I than anything. Thank You Steep Canyon Rangers. Greatly appreciated.
Intimate. Free flowing. Funny. Simple and perfect night out. Texas storytelling.
A wonderfully intimate show. Jim is a very talented songwriter, storyteller and performer!
Another great show. Really like the new songs. Band is tight.
